RPGM - Abandoned - My Life: A Series of Fortunate Events [v0.8] [Nosferan]

Abandoned buggy and boring rpgm game that at the time of release wasn't even half-finished. Cliche story, confusing gameplay with no guide or any indications, time-wasting minigames and poorly designed graphics. Waste of time.

There were some good rpgm-games, once...

To cut short - regardless of rpgm, renpy or any other game engine, overcooked/cliche story, some hilariously repulsive characters, unnecessarily/time-wasting minigames, occasional in-game glitches and bugs...For me - the "fabulous" animations are the main game-breaker, making any other discussion/comments needless.

These animations look like some really bad sketch/parody of real porn video (an old lad - klub 17 likes this!) - there are various poses, scenes, different angles, camera movements, etc, all lovely jubbly, but in this mixture that all just look creepy and act as a huge turn-off, at best.

The developers were merciful, however, to provide an option to "skip animation", but then - why are you playing porn game at all?

So, either you will be completely ripped of sex scenes/animations, or you be forced to pasivelly endure those annoying long-lasting "not-a-parody" masterpieces.

Tastes differ, of course, but for me, this game is for avoiding (with underlined "to avoid") - unless you have a plenty-plenty of time, nerves of steel, or you are just some horny 11yo...

buggy rpgm, you have to enter sparkles and trigger tiles a certain way for them to work, unskippable loung and long sex scenes, poor models.
mini games are way too difficult for the quality of this game.

So first of all nothing on this site (at least from what I've played and well let's say I've played "few" games here already) comes even close to this in terms of animation. The amount of details in each scene is breathtaking. There are plenty of them for the current release and I'd say they satisfy everyone. There are minigames and they are hard but every single one of them is perfectly doable with some skill and or patience. The fact that you don't get everything served on a silver plate should be a + not a reason to cry just saying. Some of them loop a little bit too much but hey some people actually have sex for more than 5s so it maybe adds to the feeling of something real I guess it's the limitation of rpgm but I don't mind it. There are plenty of cashgrabs with "sex scenes" on f95 so the fact that there is a game that makes you work a little bit for the scenes is refreshing. Characters even thought tits are a little bit on the bigger side are great and their bodies correspond with their age/type pretty well (Claire with stretch marks and her butt looks believable for example) I am going to keep a close eye on this one and I really hope that the developer can continue with the great work he/the team did so far. Try it and play it like a game not some hentai you click through.

A pretty solid game so far. It's made with RPGmaker but so far doesn't have anything to grind hard for so i dont mind it. The story is decent and the scenes are done really well, although some can drag on a little long. A way to speed them up a little bit could be pretty beneficial to the flow of the game. Overall though an enjoyable playthrough and i'm curious to see the diretion this game goes in.

First, I know this format Has a lot of Haters! But i must disagree with the last comment! The Dev is Not lazy, Far from it, The models in-game are eye candy! & the animations are Some of THE BEST i've seen! With nice vocal Sound added The world map is detailed All npc's a responsive! I have to largely agree with what Keldar said. However, this game has decent animations do I am not worried there much.

Everything else though is horse shit,1. There are a few mini-game events which is unnecessarily hard, especially the part where you have to dodge wild dogs to reach home, I gave up on that part because of how unnecessarily hard it is.

2. The animations or the sex scenes for which we play this game has to be either entirely skipped or you have to go though them in which case the sounds clips are horrible and are so long that that it irritated the hell out of me. There are much better methods of integrating animations in game and this is not one of them.

3. This game does not have a quest log or any method of telling you where to go at, what time is it, etc.

4. It does not tell you what time is it for which quests and you largely have to spend a lot of time wasting to learn where to go.

5. The garage door which lets you move towards the front of the house nearly invisible (it is on the right for those having trouble) and is an important part f a quest.

6. It left a bad taste in my mouth. I am not going to play this game until it if entirely polished or is remade in ren'py as this game being in RPGM is a waste of time and serves no purpose other than wasting your time.

RpGM games are almost universally craptastic games because developers are lazy. They put you in situations where the player has no fucking idea where something is but the character would and then give minimal fucking directions.

The quests also far almost always fucking shit because again poor fucking directions, failing to understand that player knowledge is not the same as character knowledge and tasks you need to succeed are almost always arbitrary bullshit.

So why be so vague? Because the developer want you to fuck about trying to figure out what the fuck your are suppose to do, because it is a TIME sink. It is by design meant to not give you a sense of accomplishment but to waste your time to make you think there is more to the game then there actually is.

This game is TERRIBLE. The mini games are all boring, and a waste of time with zero payoff. It is far easier to design the game with these BS tasks with very little information than to actually code a quest journal with proper instructions.
