For people coming from Nox's other games, worried that all the sex scenes are foot stuff, the good news is no and you actually get to pick your poison. It's all sub and femdom content, which is cool.
I'm not sure why but all the scenes have this blurry border which sometimes covers half the screen. I can only guess this was maybe done for mobile players but it's just weird and looks like shit honestly. The scenes are also completely disconnected from the story/game and could honestly just be removed without having any impact on the actual plot.
The one thing that does have a slight impact, after having enough "pink nights" aka mandatory sex breaks, with the same girl they give you a weapon and you can buff their stats. Again though this isn't communicated in any way and if you spread the love, as it were, you can just completely miss out on this. Not that the rewards make a ton of difference anyway.
For most girls you need four pink nights and for Lu Bu you need like six or something just fyi.
Though speaking of plot, there basically isn't one. You just go from fight to fight smashing armies (and not in the good way) with or sometimes without Lu Bu and her generals. Characters are fine but have like one defining personality trait and that's it. Character art is pretty good though.
Gameplay is kind of boring honestly. I thought the game was super hard and challenging, got to where I was fighting 15000 soldiers and I had like 3000. Thought it was impossible and didn't see how I could win... turns out I just hadn't been levelling up my stats and had like 15 levels worth banked (more of a tutorial would have been good). After levelling I suddenly took almost no damage from attacks and only snowballed from that point so the rest of the game was almost no challenge.
I think the main thing that hurts this experience though is the fact you can't control Lu Bu and the other generals when they are in your party, because of this you can't really coordinate and there isn't really much strategy you can apply. Just focus on killing the enemy as fast as possible.
I wasn't expecting BDSM apocalypse by any means but I do think there were some missed opportunities with this game. Considering the scale of this game as more of a side project, it's fine honestly. But I also think there's a lot of missed potential here.
