Ren'Py - My New Neighbors [v1.84] [Rmaximus]

My favorite game on here right now. I love the corruption and transformation theme of the story. I only wish you could transform every girl. The aunts and lesbian are disappointing because they don't change physically. If this game finishes where you can change every girl I don't think another game will be able to compete for my favorite. Thanks to the developer for making something so good.

Played a long time ago, the story wasn't so great and quite grindy but I still enjoyed the progression of the body modification, which felt rewarding over time and gave a real sense of customization and personal growth despite the repetitive gameplay.

This was dated back in 2020.

The models are HS and bad. The slightest bit of effort and you can make better ones. This screams the want for content over quality.

The story is meh.

The animations are meh.

The sandbox is some high quality garbage.

What this needs is to end and just make a part 2 with an updated HS2 stuff and ffs get rid of the sandbox.

this game made me sad. i'll try to keep it short - it's not good.

i want to preface this review by saying that i LOVE quick fuck games. i love having a massive selection of girls in a simple sandbox where you can pick & choose and have free, easy fun. this game TRIES to do that and fails horribly despite it being one of the easier ""genres"' so to say to execute.

there is no clear hints of who is staying where, there is no schedule, it's a cluttered mess of "figure it out". the story is nonexistant, the renders are simple, and again, i'd forgive ALL of that if the sandbox was accessible and easy to use.. BUT IT ISN'T!

the game has 0 merit to it. and i mean that wholeheartedly. maybe if you're a masochist who loves swapping through locations upon locations to build up to a mediocre scene - sure. but if i'm playing a game with mediocre scenes i want them to be, at the VERY least, accessible.

oh and.. it's 10 gb

New anims are much better than the older ones, and I love that pubic hair is so prevalent. My only wish is that I could make the MC's face unrendered or something lol Five stars because I think it's better than the average rating has it at now

It cannot even be considered a game. A correct description would be a demo of a generic stub of a renpy game that you could do with Honey Select. All, and I mean all, animations are the native Honey Select animations, which means that the developer didn't put any work at all on animations but simply pressed play on Honey Select and recorded the screen. There is no story whatsoever, as has already been said. You give the girls magic corruption potions and boom, they're blowing MC's cock. Do not recommend in any way. Just play Honey Select directly at this point and make your own girl at least.

This is another game that's bare bones and uses premade Honey Select models & animations. The story is thin: a family of nudists move in next door, but they're actually demons. They make you into a demon which means you're a nudist now. You then go about corrupting every female around you into the same big breasted cock hungry slut in your harem by giving them drinks from a magic potion.

There's nothing much else to say. The premade assets make the situations stiff and lifeless. As you can see on the banner, there's a couple dozen characters, but nobody stands out. You just hang around their boring lives until you can feed them the magic potion so they become huge titty cock hungry sluts.

You'd think the demon thing would matter, that there'd be some friction there, but not really. It's just a pretense to do the same thing with each pre-made female. It's boring, shallow, and dumb. I mean, it's porn, but it doesn't have to be boring shallow and dumb. I could just watch regular porn and skip the grind.

Because the gameplay is really, really shallow and opaque. You raise affection points by clicking the right button at the right time and letting dreadfully dull scenes play out. It's hard to know when and what criteria you have to meet to advance the story. It's poorly put together, premade slop.

despite few bugs here and there (all can be squashed with mods) the game is awesome, characters relatable, and I'm speaking for myself but think I speak for all - would be a dream to be the protagonist in such a game (or life hah)

Renders are quite below average. Story doesn't even't try to be a good pretext for a fuck fest. The sandbox of the game is unintuitive and badly designed.
Girls are mostly average. The body types are correct and sometimes good, but faces and details are quite bad, which lowers the feeling of them to an average level.

Perfect example of what happen when you make too much girls, possibilities, routes, and interactions... The game is way too scattered and complicated, this is becoming counterproductive and rather a malus than a bonus.

Nothing is bad here, but also not good, the game is okayish but as mentioned before and by other people this is just "too much" and it doesnt help the game.

Try to keep things simple and clear, choices are nice, liberty also, but it's not going well with the lore, because of interactions you are forced to follow a path, because the lore dictate it. So what's the point of being free if you are forced to follow a path.

Animation: Some really sleek movement in this one,
Story: Nothing too crazy and gives room to many many developments
Scripting: Pretty basic and a few grammar errors but easy to understand
This is a pretty fun sandbox. Lots of women to find and corrupt. A wide variety of scenarios and the grind isn't too punishing like some games. Very enjoyable

Great game, very direct to the scenes which is great but also the "lore" that almost goes to background is pretty much consistent... personally I would prefer a little more work on the faces of some characters (Abigail and the lizard girl) but that's subjective

CONCLUSION

This started off good, nice premise and an option to get rid of the NTR. However you are quickly forced down every route available. Hate a girl? Tough you'll be needing to do her route to get to the one you actually wanted to see.
If you want choice or any kind of control over the MC then don't bother there'll be characters that piss you off and you'll be forced to like it, if you just want the scenes then skip the dialogue.

The game is too convoluted to play without the guide. The problem is that "the guide" is just as convoluted as the game itself. The "guide" is like a fucking rosetta stone. Making a game that requires this level of tediousness, without an in game guide is dumb. Playing the same scenes over and over again is a goddamn, groundhog day, nightmare. I don't want to have to learn your secret code to play your mediocre game.

Character models are pretty standard for Illusion's HS/HS2 engine, but that's not even close to my complaint here. I love that engine. No, my main gripe is gameplay. As for gameplay, it's a bit rough and slowmoving. More along the lines of repeating most scenes for no reward because you didn't pick the "right" scene that comes next in order. It says "Sandbox", but it felt super linear because of the limitation I described. More like a faux-sandbox. I played for a few hours, but didn't get very far. I did watch MC peep on his mom in the shower a ton, though...

A little grindy, but grown with lots of content!

There's an actual plot and some feels with the bog standard ‘boy gets big dick and conquers his world’ plot. There's asylum-seeking demons, some frank discussions about identity death and the meaning of family, and hints of a larger world conspiracy. There's also a lot of body modification, breast enlargement, and sex.

This is a Great game if you like Big boobs. The story is not bad i am kindoff invested in to the story and am exsited to se where it goes next. The transformation in the start is quite straight forward with later once you get some choices that seems logical to that caracter in some sense. The gameplay it self isnt to bad with not too mutch grinding there is some but not so mutch that it feels annoying. I would rate the game 9/10
