Version: Episode 1 0.2
Not sure what game those 5 star reviewers played but it's not this game. On trying to find something to do/ a substantial scene... after day 3 in the game I just gave up.
Tl dr for main issues:
everything is a WIP; too many bugs; and stuff just happen with no prior context, there's nothing to do and no progression.
I'll go in order of what this game needs to focus on since it's such a WIP:
Incredibly buggy
- In Settings, Sound bar controls the music - music bar should control the music
- Prologue scene; More button does nothing
- Interacting with Anna in Living room; says she is going to work but reappears where she was upon refreshing map
- Choices don't matter. First "Quest" with Anna; if you choose Lock screen, she still views the porn at the end
- Starting Quest 2 for Anna sends you in a loop with her leaving for work.
- Trying to Talk to Cara in her room on the laptop results in nothing
- Same dinner dialogue reused on second day
Story/ characters
There seems like a story should be here but there is none right now. Not having a story is okay but the game also barely has any context on what or why things are the way they are. The way the game is set up right now is just a shell for sexual content tropes encountered while living with hot women with little connection as to why any of it occurs. All in all it feels
shallow and empty.
As there is no substantial dialogue, the text that does exist is just fodder but really
bad translations. The game needs an English proofread revamp.
And what sort of family is this if everyone looks completely different from each other? Idk because the game doesn't tell me. Makes you think the dev just wanted to use celeb-lookalike models because he likes them regardless if it made narrative sense
Content and features
Quick and cheap lewd scenes - not much of it though (to distract you from the lack of plot). It's as effective as your weakness for such scenes (like sleeping bj, girls stumbling on naked MC, MC ogling/spying). But in general it feels rushed with no contextual plot for it to to feel natural.
The
Quest feature that is accessed in the phone is absolutely just a name for "Activate random event" because there is no quest involved in this.
It's difficult to even talk about progression because there's
nothing going on. The little scenes there are, are with Anna but just are so disconnected they don't feel like anything.
Some other features worth criticizing:
There's an x-ray feature that appeared like twice but it just comes of like "what's the point of this?" Part of erotica is not giving the reader what they want too quickly.
The mini map allows for
easy navigation to an extent - you need to remember which room leads to the stairs. I don't see why put the city map button inside the phone though, just have it as an external button in the HUD.
The double vertical panning is unnecessary when showing off the body of a girl, one is fine.
Graphics
The only pillar, a shaky one, that keeps your interest in this game. The models look hot - 3 different body sizes. Mostly just Anna, the milf,
looks good (but that could just be me) who seems the most attention is put into right now - content-wise. However:
- her eyes look too small as if she's perpetually stoned
- her ponytail sticks out like a stiff broom
- when in the kitchen, her pants texture is so shiny that it reflects every source of light in the room
Cara ( Delevingne) model is okay, not much to say there but the Mia (Khalifa) model is ugly; her ponytail
lacks any volume and her
clothes make her look like a dude.
Judging from the walking animation in the settings, the dev definitely can make really
good animations however, there is no animation like that in the game itself, in fact there is just
no animations. There is only a pseudo one, when two slides quickly alternate, at the very beginning of the game
In conclusion; the good: nice models (even MC for having a normal size/looking dick) with a bit more work in their assets required - specifically hair. And; perverted fetishes we know and love (sleep play, ogling etc) but sparse and lacks context and/or smooth plot transitioning. But the bad is really bad - mainly buggy ones. Definitely a work-in-progress game and a possible revamp would do this game a huge favour.
