VN - Ren'Py - Completed - My Sister, My Roommate [v1.69] [Sumodeine]

I think this is a very good game. The graphics are quite good. Some characters seem a bit doll-like but nothing bad. The story is interesting and got me playing quite a bit. I suppose you can say that it's a bit addictive. This review is as of version 0.7 and there is quite a bit of content. I am not about certain parts of the game though. I am not sure how much the game is affected by the Gentlemanly score or otherwise. There is also quite a bit more dialog than I would prefer. Good thing you can skip them and also go back easily. As an unfinished game, you can expect minor bugs. Fun game.

This is another game i suggest you play it has a good story to it and the art is well done we still need more sex though for the MC.
Not much bad about it i only hate two character in the game the rest so far are good.

I love this game!

When I first found the thread, I wasn't particularly interested because I thought it was another incest game (not really my thing), but after reading through the description and some of the comments, I began to get interested, and I gave it a shot. I am very glad that I did.

The renders are good, but the story is what really makes this game for me. There aren't very many genuinely funny adult games out there, and it is always nice to come across one.

The MC is presented as a clueless virgin nerd who is entering college and gets assigned to share a room (paperwork error) with his "sexually-liberated" sister. The MC's cluelessness is a little overdone at times, but I like the character, and (thank god) he uses a character model that is actually believable as an adult male. Entirely too many adult games use creepy, underage-looking male models, and the effects on me range from boner-killing to (in extreme cases) nausea-inducing.

The real gem in this game, though, is Nikki. In addition to disliking incest games, I am also not typically a fan of corruption-themed games, and I love how Nikki's experience works as a counterpoint to the MC's naivete. She also has just the right amount of vulnerability to balance her out. I also enjoy the fact that she is not the game's primary sexual goal.

There are tons of adult games out there that bounce the MC from one sexual encounter to the next, but there are precious few that provide an enjoyable journey between the encounters. That, more than anything, is this game's strength.

If rapidly skipping dialogue to jump from one sex scene to the next is your thing, you might want to look elsewhere.

If the presence of female characters who are not clueless, inexperienced virgins who live only for the MC bothers you... you might want to look elsewhere.

If you want a fun game with great dialogue (and some hot sex scenes) that both realistically portrays and parodies the college dating life, welcome home!

This game has some of the best dialogue of any other porn game I've played. The story is interesting and different than the typical "boy seduces his mother and 3 sisters at home". The characters are attractive, the game is not a grind-fest, and it doesn't take too long to get into some action. Excellent start to the game!

The game is a solid enough first entry for a new dev. Story elements are somewhat simplistic and streamlined, and most of the characters are somewhat "one note", however the writing at least meets basic standards, which is far more than many games on this site can say.

The main flaws are a lack of meaningful player choice and a few too many porn tropes for my personal tastes, although many enjoy these. Ultimately it's better than the majority of the games on the site (although that isn't saying much), but given my standards are quite high I still can't justify above a 3 star. It's solid but nothing particularly special.

Hopefully further character development - which is a big thing for me personally - leads to me feeling differently about the game in the future.

While the 3D models are not the sexiest ones and the animations are poorly made and could be scrapped altogether in my opinion, I like this game.
The author writes some witty dialogue and many of the characters are somewhat distinct and likeable, at least compared to the average porn game. The progression is also believable, for the route I have taken (the deviant route, havent even played that one competely through yet, though).

Recommended. At the very least not disappointing.

It was a pleasant surprise, with nice dialogues, fast paced story, good graphics and some good humor.
The game so far was solid, no problems, but the path was almost linear.
It still has ways to go, to finish the story and create some actual alternatives, but I like what I see so far.

Fun game. First - The rendering is better than what is shown here on the first page.... a lot better. Second the game is actually pretty fun. Some of it reminds me of the old Leisure Suit Larry type puzzles. The inside jokes about adult games being banned from Patreon cracked me up. Looking forward to the next release.

The following review is based off my personal experience with playing this Game/Visual Novel... I try to be as brutally honest and detailed as I can, and these are my own opinions and thoughts, from one or more play throughs... The version this review is based on is v0.30...

Thus far this Visual Novel/Game is not bad at all, as I actually enjoyed reading it... It seems well constructed and even has several moments that had me laughing... It does seem to have a sort of possible family sex vibe to it, which is a highly overused theme...

The visuals are pretty good, even though they can be a slight bit grainy, most likely due to the images being compressed... The backdrops all look fairly unique and creative... I did notice a slight inconsistency when the brother and sister first moved into the dorm room, how the note board was full of notes as if they had lived there for a while already... It seems like a small detail, but it does throw a minor kink into the immersion during that event, at least for me... The devil's in the details, but overall I liked the visuals... Depending on your choices there are erotic scene that do occur, but they don't feel like they detract from the story progression too much...

The script was very well done with lots of good dialogue and monologue... The plot is that a sister and brother (twins) go to college, and end up living together in the same dorm room... The sister is very experienced socially and sexually, whereas the brother is somewhat reserved and virginal... But the sister is basically helping him out with his social and other skills, either through advice, actions, and/or dialogue with the other characters... The basic premise is college life for new freshmen students, and all that entails, along with learning new experiences and experimentation... Depending on the choices you make for the male protagonist (the brother), you can be more of a Gentleman or more of a Deviant... I'll assume these will effect what scenes you gain access to and/or how other characters react to the protagonist, as you progress through the story... Most characters have very well crafted personalities thus far...

Overall I think this Visual Novel has a decent amount of story with some depth to it... There are some humorous moments that had be laughing, and I didn't feel the erotic material was too distracting from the story... This VN is still early in it's development, but I like what I've read and seen thus far and hope it keeps up with the good novel type elements, and doesn't go overboard with the erotic stuff... Right now it seems like a nice balance, and I'ld hate for that to change... I'll definitely re-visit this one sometime further into it's development, as it shows good promise...

I'm not sure how to feel about this (hence four stars. It's neither three nor five).

On the one hand, I think it suffers from 'if it moves, has a heartbeat and breasts, you just know it'll f*ck you'-itus.

On the other hand, it's kinda nice to not feel punished for just wanting it all.

I like the characters, and the rare scenes with the sister are well handled (considering the point of the game ).

So, maybe a little too fast? But I played through it in one session, so I cannot have disliked it much either, eh?
