My Tier-List of VNs or Why are well written VN Games with 18+ Content so rare?

Hi there,

i am into VN since 4 or 5 years now. But it seems that i already have read all good written VNs with 18+ content. I will open with a list starting from average to good to top tier in my opinion. So that you can see what kind of games i prefer (no garantee that i mention every VN i have done so far), additionally i like to add that i only read VNs with at least Medium Length 10+ but i Prefer 30+ or 50+ hour VNs

I will only include Games i have played through all routes/ends

That shall it be. I guess the list is about 60-70% off all VNs i have read so far. I did not Mention Games Like Dreams of Desire or Sisterly Lust cos it is maybe a VN but 3d. I like them to but its even while well written more focused on graphics.
VN Games with really high quality as well in graphics as in story are really really rare. A lot of games Remind me of the phrase that porn actors only know 1 Sentence and it doesn't matter with Film the do... Male "Wanna Fuck?" Female "Sure" and undresses

I am sure there more good games the style i like but i fear most of them will never be translated to English cos a lot of people prefer the Wanna Fuck style instead of an interesting developing story, ideal in different routes with are further apart than an exchanged female picture Like my top games (excluding Mun Luv cos it maybe the same with different heroines but its damm well written)

Ok some VNs i trashed early cos the MC was too stupid to belief it. That most of the MCs do not realize that all females are in love with him ok i could get that, i was like that too. But some Protagonists are so stupid that i would say in RL they would die to starvation cos they cannot feed them self


What is your thought on VN games. Short but a lot of 18+ stuff or well written detailed and an original story with deeper characters and some 18+ or do you wish for something else. And feel free to leave your VNs Names here you like most

I do not make a rank of any work and say which one better than other
Because what good is what I like no point to put other that I don't like down...
I did in that loop before but now I very try to look at it
when there is a competition of what he like what she like what I like what them like....etc

mostly I don't care much about porn plot
I care only how hot the scene is
and how funny is a plus
I read watch a good story from normal media
and...hell.... that already absorb all of my lifetime...

So... I don't play vn unless the art is suit my interest
and to be fair I'm not play vn game much
I want to play a game not read a book
If I want to read I go read hentai or porn comic
when I play vn game I end up skip most of the text
Especially the one that very long...

what Vn game style that I like?
well not too short like jump up to fuck all the time
and not too long to make me feel sleepy to read and click it
had a hot scene with some reason
not need to be good or clever reason but the reason make the scene hot
I don't care about realistic or deep plot blablabla
want to just drown down in the ecstasy of imagination
rule is annoyed, real is boring
I just want something that make me feel good that's all...

Well, since you voluntarily removed the 3D from the list, obviously they are really really rare. But if you include 3D games, you can extend it with titles like :

• Being a DIK
• City of Broken Dreamers
• Depraved Awakening
• Heavy Five
• The DeLuca Family

To name only five of them.

Contrarily to what you say, they don't focus on the CG, but use them to extent the feelings carried by the text itself. What make them quality games and really well wrote games is precisely the fact that they use 3D CGs.
Contrarily to 2D games, who tend to have a limited amount of CG and reuse them often to give a generic visual information, well wrote games with 3D CG use CG made explicitly for this instant. This permit them to be a real part of the scene and to add information that aren't said. It add a depth to the game that I never found in a 2D game, whatever how good it was.

To take the most obvious example, the scene from The DeLuca Family where Luna finally talk about her past, wouldn't have been so beautiful, traumatic, and living, and wouldn't have had such impact on the players, if the CG weren't those ones. It's the combination between the well wrote narration told by Luna, and the CG adding everything that she couldn't say, that make this scene the best one ever wrote in an adult game.

anne O'nymous only game i do not know so far of the games you mentioned is Heavy Five. I really appreciate the DeLuca Family. In my oppinion it is the best wirtten VN with of the tops CGs. City of borken dreamers and deparved awakening are from the same developer and both are on top as well.. Being a DIK falls short of those three a little.
But Deluca tops all of them. But for each of your Mention i could easy pick 10 VNs/Games with really bad wirting. Males are mostly horndunks only trying to rape/fuck everything with a vagina in reach. And in a lot of games Females feeling pleasure in beeing raped... sorry i want to be entertained not disgusted

One of the best female Protag games is imo Good Girl Gone Bad

I really liked Farther Than the Blue Sky, but I'm a rocket freak sooooo...

Anyway, I get it with the lack of really good VNs, I usually avoid them but Tsujidou-san no ju'nai road got me curious and now I try them if they seem interesting. A lot of the time I get bored and skip through the game just to unlock all the scenes though so I've been searching for some recommendations.
