VN - Ren'Py - My True Desire [v0.4.5] [DTZ Games]

Off to a phenomenal start, and easily one of the best NTS games currently in production.

My True Desire separates itself from the pack through grounded, naturalistic pacing and some particularly adorable artwork. This is tasteful AI NTS for the discerning player. Our MC comes off not as submissive or weak, but normal and sometimes assertive (depending on your choices.) The gf Ana is so fucking cute it makes me sick, while still being curvaceous and attractive and sexy as hell. A true beauty, who really stands out

I'd describe the overall tone of this game as sweet. Characters are lively, kind, and gorgeously rendered. This wholesome ambience in no way diminishes from the fantastic erotic content, be it teasing or voyeurism or full sex scenes. If anything, I feel that they are perfectly in sync. The dev has also been careful not to frontload on NTS content, which keeps progression that much more rewarding.

Normally I may not directly endorse supporting a project... however I will say for me, in this case, it's been well spent. Responsive dev, consistent updates, positive community, all around excellent vibes. Keep an eye on MTD - especially if grounded NTS is your thing. This is as good as it gets!

MTD is IMHO, the most accurate approach to the "realistic" realization of a couple into the world of NTS.

Everything feels natural and grounded (of course considering this a "porn" game), especially compared to the other competitors; characters hesitate, lines of thought are explained, and there's a very decent build up.

I think this one can be great with a little bit more of polish; dialogues a little too simplistic, some characters may appear one-dimensional, scenarios in general (apart from the last one) felt very generic. The couple's chemistry could also have a little bit more of a personal touch.

This game is simply great, there is no other term about it.

-The art is beautiful and for an AI based game, there are no frame which have flaws.
-The characters have a true and well worked personality. Up to release 0.4 (time of this rating), their traits are well depicted but we still see there are secrets to be revealed.
-The characters are very attractive and makes this game really consistent in my opinion. Because for a swinging game, we feel and see that the MC and FMC are looking at others. But special mention to Ana which really is super hot !!!
-The story is simple but great. We know from where it is coming and understand easily where it is going. Efficient ! I don't have anything against complex stories, but let's face it. We are not here to read a novel, but to *enjoy*.
-The pacing. It is in my opinion perfect, nothing is rushed, but neither it takes ages for things to unfold. The teasing is great.

Love the characters and story, the are is amazing too! Lots of steam and bodily fluids, not too much exposition (just the right amount, really).

Solid game, step above most in this genre writing wise, with a unique art style and animations. Settings are hot, good spacing of scenes. Definitely looking forward to more.

Girls are hot, that's for sure. As some others said, animations could be better. Some are cool, others... not so much.

Gf is really inconsistent in her attitude. Sometimes she makes you feel you're on top of the world, sometimes she seems very distant.
So yeah, I had to go in the details in the spoilers because a lot of things didn't make sense at all to me. Some hot stuff but a lot of work to do and hopefully, these incoherences will be corrected in the future. Better to be good and short and sweet than long, barely any choice that matters and going all over the place.


You spend a lot of time reading a lot of boring and not interesting stuff, waiting for things to really happen and move somewhere. Some situations are really hot but a lot of content could have been spared to focus more on fetishes, scenes and other characters. I know you will say "It's coming, don't worry" but yeah, just spent so much time on this game already to get some blueballs half baked "Follow to see the next episode".

Pros:

-Writing is good
-Character models are unique for an AI game
-Story is somewhat believeable

Cons:

-Too much phone scenes. For minutes you are reading phone conversations.
-Some renders aren't good
-Faces are a bit inconsistent

Giving it a three star for the effort. Keep that in mind there is no NTR and only mention of NTS as of now, so there is that.

Great use of AI art and animations. Ana is absurdly hot and her character as an absolute firecracker hiding beneath that cutesy exterior is just *chef's kiss*.

This game alongside Shadows of Ambition and My New Girlfriend are an absolute must read for NTS fans who enjoy that high quality animated AI art that's popping up.

Minor complaint: The background was animated too and I don't really understand why. The backround pulsing back and forth for literally no reason was just making me feel kinda sick, and I couldn't figure out how to turn it off in the settings.

Very solid start to a polish AI NTS game. Will be keeping an eye out.

The Good:

• Well done AI hot, very hot models
• Really strong characters, love Ana, Helen, and Gabi a bunch
• Good scenes

Needs Work:

• Slow burn, but pacing feels off to me. Dev is clearly going for a "realistic" depiction but feels like there's some wasted time here, hope the pace and tension increases in the next episode

One of the best NTS games on the site. It has a decent amount of content already, took me about 3 hours to go through all of it one handed.

The story is presented 5 out of 5. (Experience, tension as in a good book).
Models and graphics 5 out of 5 (even though I am not a fan of anime drawing, but here it is especially catchy)
Sounds and music 5 out of 5 (this is the first VN in which I did not turn off the sound from start)
Lewd scenes 4.5 out of 5 (exciting)

I recommend it to all fans of the genre and I am looking forward to
the continuation.

This review will be based on the 0.3.1 version of the game. My honest thoughts in a short version: "Recommended for people who enjoy real corruption (very slow and realistic) and swinging."
I encourage to try the game and support the creator if you can and want.

Story is 4.5/5

It's straightforward, simple and cute. You are in a relationship with an extremely lovable girl and you have a beautiful relationship. Due to a certain circumstance, you find out that you have a swinging fetish and you're trying to figure out for yourself if you actually are into it or if it's just a phase. The pacing is nice, slow and enjoyable.
Now there are some inconsistencies within the story, for me, there are a few times where the MC and NPCs reacted or acted in a way that might not make sense and goes a tiny bit out of the real pacing of the game, but it's not that much to make you say "Oh this doesn't make sense!" but it still throws me off a lil, probably due to the way I am and how I would react to things.

Characters are 4.5/5

Honestly? Nothing bad to say about them. I enjoyed every single one of them. The girls might be a little TOO open minded for my taste, but again, personal taste. (This does not apply to the MC's girlfriend.. yet)
There are some improvements regarding their personalities that can be made so you clearly know how they will be. The GF's personality is build perfectly in my opinion.

Art is 5/5

I get it. It's AI. The website has been bombarded with low level, AI games without any attention and love poured into them. However, this doesn't apply to "My True Desire". The games visuals are fantastic, characters look amazing, backgrounds and H-scenes are wonderfully done. I also create AI, so I know how hard it is to get THIS level of details and consistency.
Props to DTZ Games.
However, I do not see the point of the moving characters and backgrounds. They don't actually improve anything, and can cause dizziness.
My advice to the creator. Don't bother with this. It really doesn't improve anything. If you want to create something, maybe just add simple breathing movements of the characters and animate the H-scenes. But to each their own!

Top notch art, very well done. Very little for now, due to it being early in development, but still plenty enough to keep you entertained.
I love the scenes between the MC and the GF.

All in all, I absolutely recommend the game, if you want to enjoy a nice story and nice characters. Sadly, it's early in development and there isn't much to it yet. Hopefully we will see a lot of stuff added for a long time to the game. Since the creator said it will follow a more realistic pace, which I am completely down for.
Sometimes, I wish the game would only focus on the love between the MC and the GF, due to pure love they have for each other. Honestly, I wouldn't mind having a "vanilla" experience and exploring kinks only between themselves. But I am not complaining!

• The lewd scenes are well done—sexy and exciting without feeling rushed. The pacing feels balanced.

My True Desire is a laid-back, mostly linear Netorase story. Stellar art and fun characters keep the narrative flowing from scenario to scenario. It never once feels like it’s dragging on, or, stuffing you with exposition for the next scene. While tackling a taboo fetish, it doesn’t take itself too seriously. The story doesn’t feel like it needs to define what the MC (Daniel) really wants in plain terms either. My True Desire is taking a road less travelled by letting the characters figure themselves out as the story progresses. No weird front loading for the sake of f95 tags. The characters are the focus here. The interactions between Daniel and Ana are sweet and believable. One of the best portrayals of a loving couple on f95.

The Art is 10/10. It’s Visually distinct from its peers. There is an attention to detail on every character to make them appear on-model and hand-drawn. No wonky AI smiles or dead-eyed stares into the middle distance. The girls look soft and gentle, like they’re made of marshmallows. The style really adds to the light-hearted vibe. As for the Environments… They’re not the best. But where other Devs might have decided to over cook and over-detail the backgrounds to compensate for the AI randomness, the backgrounds in MTD are anything but. They’re simple, to the point, and don’t distract from the gorgeous character art. The correct call it feels. I never question where the characters are, and I never find myself picking out oddities either.

The Animations and Music are the only real negatives, more so they are ‘missed opportunities’. I believe there’s only one animation at the time of review. There is an option to enable a faux 3D effect, but I find it rather nauseating. The music is the standard f95 catalog of bensounds and Free-to-use tracks. Take a drink if you’ve heard ‘em before. You’ll be dead before the 15 min mark. Since these are thankfully things you can disable, No harm no foul. However, more bespoke music and animations are always welcomed.

In conclusion; If you like Netorase, swinging, corruption, and all of the other familiar tags (minus blacked), then this is something to keep your eye on. Simply shut your brain off, don’t worry, and just enjoy the experience.

clearly made with a lot of effort. everything feels well made from the menus to the models. this is what ai games should aspire too, great art but clearly worked on a lot and not just slop. cant wait to see whats next for this game.

this game is great. i feel like a lot of NTR "phone-sim" "gf-sim" games fall into the same traps of being repetitive and boring with a slow and predictable descent into sharing that it kinda feels like the girl's current psyche might as well be represented by a number that goes up after each story event. this game, although very early in its development, genuinely feels like it has a person in each of the characters. FMC is kinda unpredictable and loose, the tension works well because there's a plausable possibility that she might do something while she's drunk, while she;s high on lust, or just for shits and giggles. FMC's best friend, Hellen, is probably the first "best-friend" from games like these that is distinct enough as a character, hot herself, and would definetly do the things she'll eventually do (pushing FMC to corruption, reporting cuck shit just cuz she wants to, wild asf and crazy as hell). and gabi is best girl btw. its really early in the development, but im excited as hell, really hoping the quality maintains as the story progresses, GOOD LUCK

Some guy called PervM4ster24x recommended me this game and I'm glad he did!
The renders are beautiful and one of a kind, it really shows the Dev took his time perfecting this style. Characters are really lovable and humor is really nice.
It's hard to say anything about story as of right now because it's just starting, but writing is really promising.
What stands out the most is how much personality the characters have. It's just simply brilliant. Also the way Dev does his pacing for NTS/Corruption aspects of the game is great, slowly building up is the way to go! Every update gives us something more but never leaves us hanging .
So if you like this kind of slowburn content I'd recommend you play, and most importantly, support! Its only gonna be better and better from now on.

Top 5 games in the genre as of now, you can clearly see the dedication put into the game since you open it, with a very user-friendly UI that dev added in this update.

Now the story, some may say it's cliche, but it's hard to make an unique NTS/Sharing/Swinging story with the huge amount of games of this genre on the market, but what sets this game apart from the rest, is the build-up for that great moment we are all waiting for.

Quite consistent art, with some typical AI inconsistencies in dick size (some will never understand it because they don't even know what Civitai is or how to prompt a simple image).

The teasing is outstanding and the sexual scenes between the MC and his girlfriend are too well accomplished, so much so that, for me, this game has the best BJ scenes compared with the top games of this genre.

Now comes what, for me, is the best thing about the game: The characters. All with a different personality and that is consistent with the character's model (Hellen best girl), all are very cool and with many good vibes that makes you be sure that the development of the story is not going to go any way that damages the main premise of the story: Sharing your girlfriend with everyone.

Another thing that is also very important: Dev is active in the community and listens to the feedback of users who really want to improve the game, such as, for example, the MC's model in the first scenes was very inconsistent, and thanks to the community feedback, now the MC looks much better and you don't see any difference in art every time he appears. The same goes for the rest of the characters, so this is also one of the most important points that makes me give this game its well-deserved 5 stars.
