wow. just starting and boy is this annoying. if i have to search a room just give me places to search in one location. to have to do the same page 5 times is just stupid. I'll keep going for now but my hope for anything interesting is dissolving...

Well, it's still an early build. Compared to the current setup, the new patch has huge UI improvements. I'll try to add as much content as I can for 0.2 but it's 0.2 :/ I can't generate a finished product on the next immediate patch tbh. As far as the roadmap is concerned, the Navigation system is improved. UI is a bit modified as a result. Content-wise, I need to rework as I made the RPG grind as a joke to all the other RPG games out there, i.e, this will piss the people further who are playing the game. The quest system is modified a bit though I didn't make a quest tab yet to follow through. At the moment, i'm making a journal system with the idea of using a smartphone. (it's tough since it's a bit advanced for me). The game does not have a proper money system as well. Hence that will also be focused on 0.2 patch.

TL;DR (next patch may contain new content, but the gameplay will be smoother)

I suggest you include some small clips and not just gifs. Played it on Choya while back, definitely has promise and can grow bigger and better with Twine and this forum than on CHOYA. Just feel that that platform was clunky and limiting ......this is the better choice........best of luck !

Will do... CHYOA was indeed limiting hence I couldnt flesh it out like I wanted. Also the plot will be reworked since at the time in CHYOA I relied on its gameplay mechanics to extend the narrative. Here at twine it's like a whole different section... So the plot will be different from CHYOA indeed. gameplay is way smoother now. Soon I'll be putting up an update post, since many are hoping that this continues from CHYOA.

Right, need to get this off my chest. This game will not continue from CHYOA. At the time, the narrative was based on how dynamic I could make my story on the site. Hence there were plotholes and also limited content.

The game is based on it and not a copycat/continuation. Also sissification content is not in works but as a side content on the later part of the game which is completely avoidable. Hence you will not have it after a lot of updates.

Since I'm doing this on my own the amount of content coming from me is very limited. However, I will use this forum only if I post an official build of the game. Should you wish to try test builds, visit my discord link and in announcements, I will post updates to what is done so far and the release of test builds.

The next patch takes time so probably would be released when ready.

There is like, less then a concept done here, this is the least game, or any *game* I've seen on here.
Surpised this is even on here at this point, even TFGames wouldn't likely take this in this current state. (Yes I know the CYOA is much more done, but that isn't on here now is it)

There is a strange hint : "praise the lord", but I think it only means be patient... or there is a sort of church somewhere in this game ?

I think he said that's going to be added in .02, a long with first part leading up to some actual content.

Mainly because I planned on not releasing a linear content to invite people in. If I want to introduce it, I'll do that with a polished code rather than quick passage navigation. I expected that I would receive a backlash, hence responding to every comment that I can. The reason why there's less content is due to the fact I'm making it non-linear based. Hence initially the content would be very little or limited. As of now the tutorial arc on the game is not over yet. Characters are reworked to have a better meaning, context, etc. in regards to gameplay narrative.

There is more tbh. But that version had a bug where the passage did not occur. In the next build, it will be rectified. Check out the discord html file in #announcements(though few images may be missing) to check if you were able to reach it.

non linear content can be dangerous if youre not cleanly tieing up the loose ends. dont know about twine, but in renpy you can very quickly jump brackets and paths when the core file is unorganized and you dont have the paths plotting back into safe forks.

Mainly because the game is starting out. Afaik in my reasoning, we are still testing the game hence the game plot would also change to suit the game. So while creating one we have 1) Main story plot 2) Gameplay narrative

To integrate it, it is a tough task. Since it is the first build, things may change. Hence that's why you see many games while just content with no gameplay or gameplay with little content.

I'm in the latter section since my game is based on non-linear progression. And to quote fulcrum,

which is why even creating the tutorial section is a pain in the butt...

Moreover, the game is in its alpha stages hence the build will not have much content. If you notice the roadmap, most of it is relating to a stable UI and then only like 10-15% to Story content.
This will change in further dev cycles.

The Lord is the programmer(i.e Me)... You should have figured that out if you had read the text XD... The game broke the 4th wall in the intro itself

I removed the ntr and sissification tags. Added a "Future tags" list in the Genre section of the op.

Tags are only for content that is currently in game.

To request changes, use the Report button in the op and let the moderators know what needs to be changed.

That means the quest is in the development?
