VN - Ren'Py - Nanoverse [Build 2.2.3] [JBProductions]

This game had potential - it was an interesting premise, with good-looking characters, and a sophisticated skills progression system. However, the developer decided to get rid of the real porn assets, and move to 2D drawings instead.
It boggles the mind as to why he did that - especially when 3D AI image generation has advanced so quickly. With no attractive visuals to speak of (he's not even emulating EvaKiss, by the way), the writing is not strong enough to hold my interest.
It's a shame, really, but the developer has sabotaged his own game without realizing it.

Too grindy, with nothing of interest, no idea how to construct a game, or implement it properly, a game that goes nowhere, skill tree just stays permantly locked, just frustrating boring, not enough interesting things to do not wasting my time with this crap

Really great start, lots of promise, game is fun without being too repetitive until the very end, scenes are hot, perhaps some animations would be cool, but I'm not sure if that's too much to ask! Reviews have to be two hundred characters which seems weird to me!

Nanoverse [Build 7]

It´s hard to judge this game, because it still lacks lots of content, but I´ll give my opinion on the current build.
There´re not many positives I see yet, and would normally give this game 2 Stars, because it doesn´t really impress me yet.
The game reminds me a lot of HTML Sandbox games where you have to grind stats to get ahead.
I had to repeat the same questions for every character to grind stats to unlock new options, which feels pretty dull.
It´s nice that you get a pornstar as your character (Haley Reed), but that leads to quite some problems in the game.
You “can” change her appearance, like body features, you can buy clothes, but all of that doesn´t really work, when pictures from porn scenes are being used that ruin the immersion, because they don´t fit to their appearance.
Like I said in the beginning there´s not much content yet in the Story.
I think that the premise is interesting, but the execution is pretty poor as of now. I will keep following the progress and wish the Dev good luck in the development of the game.

Great base and framework. Lacks content at the moment. Uses real porn so it falls victim to the usual drawbacks of not having enough pictures and videos and the immersion breaking of using obviously different people for the same characters. I don't get hung up on that and didn't dock any points because that's normal for any of these "real porn" images, it does get repetitive though since every real porn game uses the same pictures.

One issue with such an ambitious project is it's very hard to actually create content and stick to each route. There are 6 possible routes iirc, of which one is possible now, and in that route there are skill trees and further choices. I'm not yet sure if the skill trees will apply across every route or what differences there would be, but the fact that they're in the game would indicate they are planned to be separate content.

Still, a good start, good concept. Wish I could give it more stars and I will just edit my rating in the future to add them if the game adds enough content to really shape things up and give confidence that it will be regularly updated. Unfortunately I already ran into game breaking bugs when I tried it, grabbing a fixed patch, but there needed to be a second fix patch. That may never happen again but it did this time, so just noting it as a concern.

Nice concept, great potential. Currently quite grindy and it's hard to know what content is actually available until you do all that grinding. The skill tree looks fantastic but very little of it is unlockable currently, just the basics. If the dev keeps going at it like this, it will be a really great game.

[Build 3] It's quite early to rate this, but what is there is encouraging. I played one of the paths and was immediately hooked. I want to see where this goes.

The images are OK. I wouldn't know where to get more specific pictures. But, I generally don't mind images being generic, even more generic than this.

The game is very bare bones at the moment, with some sexy stuff in but the 4 stars are for the skill tree, lots of potential in there, and considering how little "life experience" you gain at the moment it would be a very long boring grind to do all the trees in one playthrough.

The real porn images are kind of clumsily or hastily cropped out of the original pictures for the avatars and the real porn sexy stuff is not with the protagonists' avatars, just some rando porn pics from what I have seen so far

Gets 3 stars for the potential, can be 5 stars as new characters and locations are sure to be added. Just hoping it will be less hasty/clumsy cutouts and more decent pictures or even short videos.
