how to evolve relationship with the mistress when i try anything with her she tell me to talk with her. Ok i talk but affter that she lost interest in me and leave with low loyality. Pls tell me what should I do.
The loyalty thing currently is bugged cause one of the option to help restored it is greyed out so your gonna have to wait till the next update is release with the bugfix for it.

Snooply already responded on page 2 on the issue so best to just wait till its fixed to continue on your main save

Would recommend just not proceeding further but maybe make sure one of your save has her loyalty some where at 50% - 35% at least just for safety in-case it intiates the leave sequence if there already like very low.

I've tried to replicate the issue on a Win7, Win10 and Win11 but without any success so far.
I tried installing the version in question but it aborted the installation because it said a newer DirectX version is already in place, so my best bet would be that installing any newer DirectX versions should fix the issue.

I have some ideas about the prisoner mechanic, though I should add that none of these are set in stone and plans can always change:

If the player (or Computer) captures an enemy character (this could be a generic unit as well as a VIP) they could either:
  • Interrogate them (Could reveal hidden enemy assets, troop movements, perhaps even the HQ if it's a high ranking member)
  • Use them for ransom (Get money or other kinds of resources)
  • Use them for prisoner swaps
  • Recruit them
  • Outright kill them, though that would only be possible if you're not playing as a "good" aligned faction (Or at least what could be considered a good natured faction in an organized crime setting)
The idea is that initially every prisoner would try to resist your attempts, however, they'd have a resistance bar which would naturally decrease over time. This process could be accelerated for example by the player chosing low prisoner living standards (only subpar food or no food at all if you're evil).

I want the enemy on higher difficulties to be able to capture your units as well if you're not careful. This opens up a lot of new possibilities for scenes you have mentioned, such as rescues and happy reunions.

I have currently no plans for the MC to get captured. Since he's the player and handles everything, it would basically mean game over if he lost control over his faction. Defections I haven't thought about yet, I might ponder on that one!

Huh, I'm running win 10 so it should have all previous versions of directx installed. It is a weird pirate version though, so maybe they ripped that out? Will try installing the last available directx runtime from windows though and report back.
