Introduction
Hello, my name is Nobody Cares, and I am a writer who loves porn games a little too much perhaps.
For a couple of years now I have been writing HTML games just to see if I was any good at it. I must say I am happy with my experience so far, all things considered, and would like to test the seas with something a little more daring.
Contrary to what appears to be the dominant business model in this industry, I decided to release one of my games (this one) completely finished. I wanted to challenge myself with writing a full story. It is a simple, heartwarming, and very very very filthy CYOA, with 3 main love interests and 4 different endings. It did not bring the revenue I might have obtained by releasing it one chapter at a time, but I am quite happy with how it turned out, so much so that I decided to turn it into a full-blown visual novel.
Now, I am a competent writer (or at least I like to think myself such), an amateur programmer and an abysmal visual artist. That, my friend, is where you come in.
Development plan
My idea is to make this a tachie game, just like the porn games of yore (Three sister story and Seasons for Sakura, for reference). For those unfamiliar with this style of game designing, there are character sprites that are shown over top of generic backgrounds. As the dialogue plays out, the tachie images are swapped depending on who is present and what their feeling is (normal, angry, sad, horny, etc). Only the sex scenes would require full-blown illustrations.
As of yet, I do not have the means to develop the game from beginning to end. My hope is to put together a good demo and gather enough revenue to finance the rest of the project.
The game would have 6 main characters and about twice as many secondary characters. It would be divided into eleven chapters (plus a prologue and an epilogue), each with at least 3 sex scenes. We are talking about 40 full-scene illustrations. The demo would of course be much shorter.
What do I need you for
The demo I would like to put together would consist of the prologue and the first chapter. That would mean 5 of the main characters, and 2 or 3 fully illustrated scenes. Fetish-wise, the game is very hardcore but mostly vanilla, except for a few gentle femdom scenes in future releases.
Job Requirements
I would prefer someone who can draw in the Western style of drawing, if you can draw cartoony thicc ladies, that would be a plus. That being said, nothing is a deal breaker. I am open to suggestions.
I do not demand any specific level of experience. If you are a beginner and would like to give it a go, feel free to send me a DM with some of your art. I’ll be happy to take a look at it and see if we can work together.
The most important requirement is that you would be able to continue working with me again, should the demo gain enough traction.
Compensation
This would be a work-for-reward job. Once we agree on the price, you get paid half the full amount right away and the other half upon completion. Do consider that my budget for this demo is of a few hundred dollars, not thousands.
Also, I will credit you for your work (unless you prefer otherwise) and you will be free to repost your art if you so wish
