2D Need Feedback on art style

Hello people,

I need some very specific feedback for this picture. Which outline style do you prefer? The one in the left, that blends better into the background or the one on the right, which stands out more in general?
I'm just asking about the outlines, not the characters themselves.

I prefer pretty much everything about the character on the left, including the less prominent outlines.

Yeah I agree, the left one.

Something I do sometimes tho is to use black or almost black outlines around eyes, the face or places you want to *pop* more.

I really do like the style on both of them
