Identify NEED HELP, Identifying a certain game, Anything would be appreciated.

Context : I need help finding a game, it's a 3D platformer, main character is a purple mouse that walks like a human, he also places and collects bombs, and gathers jewels to end each level. (when he goes idle he starts playing with a yo yo)

Problem : It was my brothers favorite game, and i need it to make up with him (we've been fighting for 2 years over some family problems), i want to be the first to apologise, i need to make something special and i know he kind of looked for it for a while, i searched soo much to no avail.

I know Crash but it not it, in the game you play the level from a sideways view, not 3rd person view

I'm drawn to Crash because of the Yoyo and Spyro the Dragon because ... well ... purple xD

it was a purple colored mouse thing, it didn't look like crash (my memory of it is really hazy), played on PC, as for the year i am not 100 % sure but i think 2010 - 2009
