I played this game some months back in 2025, the game was still in demo back then, and I downloaded the demo.
Liked the game, deleted the demo, thinking I would easily find it again once it's out.
Now that few months had passed, wanting to know the game progress or release date, I searched for it but to no avail.
It is a Japanese game with quality english translation.
It is an Action, 2D, openworld metroidvania, sidescrolling.
What really catch my attention is that, for a demo, the title, UI, controls, Artstyle, and menu was very well polished, its definitely not work of amateur.
Artsyle is cute and the animation and cut-in is smooth, MC is young petite girl.
You played as a young girl (with some elements of mahou shoujo), and she is a magic girl trainee (Also an alchemist iirc)
The game start with the protagonist at the middle of the forest, after some tutorial, player are tasked to collect some materials and then to go back to her home where her mentor awaits.
The MC was kinda klutz and seems not to be doing well as magician compared to her peers.
MC's home, from the game start position is located roughly south west (5 or 6 few maps loads) of where the game starts.
Gameplay:
You can collect materials from fields (Shiny spot) or from enemies.
Mana, iirc, is mentionned in the game, and is part of the combat gameplay.
Combat consist of normal melee attack, and casting spell (hold button to cast, release button to unleash, spell use mana).
Mana is obtained from the surrounding or foes.
Some platforming elements.
MC can be downed from enemy attacks, and then dirtied/defiled.
MC can clean herself with any body of water or at her home (bathroom).
Cloths can be partially ripped (not sure if can be fully ripped), and can be repaired using consumables.
Seems you can craft stuff, but I haven't went far with the demo.
