Identify Need help in recognizing a game where the combat is a turn based card oriented game

I remember playing this game that used Daz 3D models where the combat was basically a turna based combat with cards describing your actions (sort of like hearstone? i guess?). I remember the guy, at the start of the game was in a fantasy setting in a city and then later ends up on a ship where he learns magic and some other stuff. Thanks
