I've decided to start working on a passion project using Ren'Py, and I'm in need of some creative inspiration. It is heavily influenced by the HTML game "Inheritance" by Aftermath Team, which you can check out here: https://f95zone.to/threads/inheritance-va90-aftermath-team.6291/
The gameplay will be similar to Inheritance, where you walk around a house and there are maids and other things that you can interact with, as you follow a non-linear story progression.
What I'm mainly looking for is map layout inspiration, so that navigating from room to room makes sense. I'm also hoping for some inspiration on a polished and good user interface.
Most games that I've found so far under the sandbox tag on this site have been very linear and not very sandbox-y at all. So if anyone might have some recommendations that would be very helpful, preferably in Ren'Py. Thanks.
