Need quick help with Koikatsu/Honey Select 2

Hi there, I'm currently working on a game for the first time and I am enjoying it a lot! I decided to use Honey Select 2 or Koikatsu for my characters for scenes and in the default animations I am trying to figure out how to make them stop speaking Japanese. Is there anyway to disable/delete the voice over files specifically without also deleting the moaning?

Also for Koikatsu, how to disable squirting? lol

Both Koikatsu and HS2 don't have these options as far as I can tell. I am using the latest BetterRepack for both from F95. I'm sure there is a way, but I can't figure it out.. so thought I'd ask the F95 ninjas for their help

Found it! It's in the F1 plugin options, just had to dig a little more. So many plugins it was easy to miss haha

As winter stated, you don't want to use the actual game, but Charastudio. (it's in the same folder). As for using charastudio, I explained some of the less intuitive parts here

Insomnimaniac tutorial nicely covers all things, I want to also add that when you start using Chara Studio and get comfy with it, it's good to look for some additional quality of life mods like option to disable only certain bones (those little balls) without actually turning the bone off to make scene a bit clearer or addon that alllows you to move items on the list however you like. There are also some mods that make animating a bit more streamlined, make character posing easier etc.
Most of it is easy to find on Discord but I can look into file for exact name.

Also, it's not a stupid idea to launch few maps from other people and see what kind of shaders and settings they are using as basic Koikatsu lighting is in my opinion quite ugly and characters will look like light bulbs.

Basically things that make your flow a bit smoother as using Koikatsu and especially animating in it is imo as pleasant as dragging balls on glass shards.

Hi, I noticed your post and was wondering if you could help out on a small problem,
I've just started using Chara Studio to make a game and
been trying to work out if squirting is possible in Chara Studio, or is it only possible in the main game?

If so, could you please explain how to do it, or what plugin may be needed.
I'm currently working with the 'better Repack RX 22'.

Any help at all would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance

I fake it (Not abnormal ). Use the search function and search for cum. Reducing the opacity of some of those works pretty well.

As someone that changes cum colour to red and uses it as blood when characters fight, I can confirm: Koikatsu is Workaround Simulator

Awesome, I didn't think of using the search feature, wasn't sure what it was for until now

Anyway I finally found the cum effects and even a pretty cool urine effect. The urine stream seemed to be a bit weak so I tried copy and pasting about 5 or 6 of them on top of each other and bingo, was able to get a pretty cool squirt effect.

interestingly, if you get more into real world special effects and the techniques cinematic staging, it becomes clear that huge amounts of visual entertainment consists of workarounds. The classic example are sound stage sets: only the small parts that are visible close in frame of the camera lens need to be created, the rest is empty space or painted backgrounds. Like many others I have historically made the mistake of thinking I need to setup a whole room of furniture and objects, but in the end only a small section was shown in the output renders.

Can't agree enough. That's something that was my bane for a long time.
I used to spend a lot of my time on setting up and correcting things that players will never see, like objects outside of vision, character's skirts when players see only the waist and up, etc. Took me decent time to finally hyperfocus only on things that players will see.

You can also analyze scenes, their node constraint, and see how it works! That's what i used to do. There's a really good creator out there who has amazing squirting effects (cant remember the name but is active in pixiv)

I'm not sure what you mean by node constraints, what are they exactly and how do you use them?

Node constraints "glues" a node to another node or bone. I did a quick tutorial here.
