Need to build a consensus on if people like 10 second clips or 1 minute clips better for 3D porn

10 Second clips or 30-60 second clips

Most 3D Works you download from artists usually consist of a hundred 1-10 seconds clips and usually 1, 1 minute clip depending on the artist. Personally I cannot stand 10 second clips because its usually just a looped animation with no pay off, I find it a waste of time. I'd rather and artist have 3 30-60 second clips where the dude actually cums. Give me an actual pay off for watching the clip, not some 10 second animated loop that took a weekend to make.

Since this is the center for pirated 3D works I thought it would be a good place to ask this question.

I'm not 100% sure what type of clips you mean, but if we include things like Rule34 porn for stuff like Overwatch, I usually prefer the short 10 second or less loops.

A 30-60 second clip is still way too short for a full sex scene and just leaves me feeling a bit underwhelmed, I'm not trying to break a speedrun record in fapping and I want to enjoy it over a longer time. Meanwhile if you loop it I can technically enjoy it forever. To me the payoff is me coming, not the dude in the video. That said a clip less than 5 seconds are usually pretty underwhelming as well. I mean I guess you could just watch the same 30-60 second clip on a loop as well, but it wouldn't be the same.

For standalone 3D animations, I'm not picky. I'm not going to cum in a minute either way.

In games, the only animated 3D one I follow has shorter clips made with Honey Select. But hundreds of them, and most of the game is animated even if subtly. It works out great imo. Much prefer something like this over the occasional long animation in an otherwise still game.

I'll take short, looped animations anytime. If there is a long, drawn-out animation, then I feel rushed, cause I can't allow myself to savour the scene and allow myself to build towards my pleasure. The game is about MY pleasure, not the guy in the game. If your game contains long animations, then they will only serve to annoy me, no matter how well-made they might be. And if they are un-fucking-skippable, then I will probably just not bother playing any further. I HATE un-skippable animations.

I prefer short clips, mainly because the clip is only a part of the game and I want the game to keep moving. Anything that draws out the game unnecessarily will make me delete faster than SJW politics will.

Also, like the Agent above, I abhor un-skippable animations, I also hate slow text, I read stupid fast and I know not everyone is like me but don't gate anything. If I fucking click then it needs to MOVE.

If we're talking about standalone videos, if it's not long enough to have a story of sorts it doesn't really do much for me. But that's true for all the porn I consume.

In a game short loops make more sense IMO, because they allow the player to control the progression.

video in a GAME always means the control is stolen off from player's hands, which is always frustrating and takes you out of the game. the longer the video the worse it gets. ideally GAMES should only have no non-interactive movement, but with the tools we mostly use that's not feasible, so the next best compromise is keeping your animations short.

I prefer 10 seconds as they are usually far higher quality and more consistent at being good quality. Now if a bunch of artists that do 10 second 3D animation videos switched to doing 30-60 with the same/similar quality, I would obviously choose that but I don't see that happening. Quality is far more important compared to length.

One thing that makes some 10 second loops better than others is when there is more movement for more detail i.e hair pulling pulled more. I can't really think of much else besides the obvious with using decent models because animations can be good and smooth but it really hurts the quality if the models aren't that good.

All of this would also apply to games but it would have other factors to balance like if there is text which would probably be the biggest one.

if only for videos , 15-20 seconds is good to make a loop video, and have enough time to make more changes.
but it's also difficult to produce high-quality works.

for game , I prefer a large number of short videos to let you control the process, everyone has a part they like, providing choices is always a good way.

sorry my english is not good, but i hope you can understand what i mean.

In games : short clips, outside games : long videos. I voted for long videos (since it didn't seem you talked about games), but for me even even 1 min is too short.

Hey OP, thanks for posting this question. I'm actually surprised at the overwhelming number of people in the comments saying they prefer short clips. I've begun making some animations of my own and this is great info to have! Personally, I hate 10 second clips. I understand that they loop, but I don't care. 30-60 seconds is also not really enough. I prefer like a 3min+ short video, show some different animations, etc. That's what I had planned on doing for my own animations, even though it's a lot more work obviously, but if people actually prefer 10 second clips, then maybe I should do that instead.

I think that's because the context was unclear and/or has become confused. Like Guntag I read OP as asking about standalone videos, and I don't see any consensus in that regard.

Only when it comes to games does there seem to be a preference for short clips.

I prefer 60 seconds over 10 seconds because there is not enough time to really see anymore than a few thrusts in 10 seconds. It'd be easier to just look at a static image then.

Id rather it be a 60 second clip but cut up into 10 second loops where its 10 seconds of position A then a quick 2 seconds of changing position and then a loop of position B and so forth
