Ren'Py - Abandoned - Nemesis Party [v0.09.2 Final Scenes Update] [NemesisGames]

This game has all the ingredients to be a 4 or even 5 star game.

The renders are pretty good.
The Girls are awesome.
The premise of the game was very good.

The initial game play was entertaining - Up until turn 5 (With the Rumour implementation)

The gameplay completely fell flat after that. The story was still interesting to keep the game afloat, but the game just became a glorified KN with paths more or less set. (Just dispel rumour when need.... or not)

The game ended inconclusively and although the Final update was entertaining, it could not save the 1 or 2 lost stars.

This rating is not based in the game status, but rather the incoherent game system that was implemented regarding the rumour. I also suspected some bugs, although one could never be sure if it were just bad gameplay or buggy code.

With a proper gameplay implementation, this game, even in it's current state could be salvaged to 4 stars. Fortunately, I would not classify it as grind, but just poor gameplay.

The idea of the game is interesting but I found it all a bit confusing.
We would need more guidance in the dialogues and also understand the differences in the personalities that can be chosen.
The models are excellent and the animations acceptable, the story less so.

Obfuscated mechanics that are mind numbing to get around and play. There is not much really the player can do to get points. The entire game is designed with the intention to keep skipping turns because there is nothing they can do. The game could have been much more straightforward with clear choices and what they will lead to. Right now the game is a coding mess with events not firing correctly and the player not getting any points.

I like the idea of competition and rivalry for girls, as well as voyeurism and sharing but it is implemented very badly here.

This game has a good range of content and fun but the thing it needs most of all is a bloody Gallery!
This games falls under a category of "Fail to win" games were a good chunk of the content is behind doing things you know are bad for the main character. It really doesn't gel well with people like me so a Gallery were I can see that conent would be nice.

Story is just idiotic, i dont mind NTR aslong as its good and make sense, but the way this game does it makes absolutly no sense, look at the football match with Ace and Emma, one you cant win the game just fake choices which is very common in this one as well.
Then MC is asked to leave which he dosent want to but still does? you can see the brainless NTR attempt coming from 50 miles away which is a huge fail on top of it, Emma isent even with MC at that point either....

Oh and lets add a bit more brainless stuff before getting into the idiotic scene, even if you have multiple good points with Emma scene still happens, pretty sure it said you cant save all girls but you can focus on one so i tried to focus on Emma which did fuck all she still tried to fuck Ace? even after telling MC the last person in the world she would do anything with would be Ace?...

Next Emma desides to make out with Ace?? which makes aboslutly no sense, Emma hates him but the dialogs are soooo damn bad, instend of barking like a dog she desides its better to make out with Ace? then hes dick gets pulled out and she talks about how gorgeous Aces dick is? cringy as hell and she talks about how it wont fit inside her while shes touching it? she even tries to ride him? but cant get it in? and for the hole story shes hated him and whats hes done to the MC but she still tries to fuck him?

Its just absolutly idiotic, when trying to make NTR atleast try to make it feel real and not just something stupid out of the blue like that, it feels way off point and against everyting the story has been about which only results in ruining the game.

Also MC dosent even see it so you dont even get the pleasure of calling her a whore to her face after trying to fuck Ace.....making the hole scene completely pointless...

In any case this is how game goes on, to many story fails and very poor attempts of making NTR scenes when they dont connect with the story and once story dosent makes any sense its just not worth playing.
Dont even want to get into all the bugs that seems to pop up all the time, atleast dev tries to fix those along the way.

Another fail is with Lily, i couldent care less about her and never went to get any points with her but then game turns kinetic and gives you only 2 choices vanilla scene or bull scene? wheres the no scene? i thought you atleast could deside who to have relationships with but apprently game now forces girls on you?
Even picking bull scene MC tries to stop Lily to have sex with her boyfriend? i just dont get it, i tried to help him as much as i could and never went after Lily and MC does this shit? why? again it follows nothing of what ive done doing the story....

Even tried to lower LIs score by letting the rumor shit run wild but thats so bugged as well, sometimes it goes like Lily told Lily about....? never losing any points...

Some renders looks extremly weird like when someone used a comdom it looks like a freaking bottle 10 times bigger then hes dick? lol...

I found them mostly just average looking, there is some diversity in builds but not a single smol but multiple bimbos which is just meh.

Animations 2/5
Just like some renders they can be very grainy at times and overall quality is pretty poor and scenes arent that good either.

Music 3/5
Pretty decent background music, nothing with real lyrics but they arent bad.

1. Nice female models, especially Emma.
2. Game have bugs but dev is working to fix it and upload a hot fix.
3. Typical brain rot NTR haters malding about NTR in a NTR game.

Seems like 5* rating is not even a question.

The beginning was promising. Then everything broke with bugs and seemed like work in progress parts. I recommend waiting until the dev fixes all of it. But I don't really expect that, since he decided to release the game in such a horribly unplayable state.

The developer said he fixed the bugs, so I checked again. Yes, he fixed something, but he left a lot of them. Now I see that the problem is not about bugs, but about bad game logic and design. My rating stays the same. I might come back after some time, or I might not.

This seems like a mixed bag here. It's designed for you to grinding on multiple playthroughs to see every last spec of content and I just do have that kind of time. Not to mention a lot of my playthrough was bugged even after I started over. My advice would to be to have the content separated and the paths simplified, that would probably help with paths being crossed and bugs and should save a playthrough or two. And finally get a editor.

im surprised at all of the 5 stars. the game is ok but i would not bother with it in its current state. i wanted to give it 2 stars but feel like it has potential

the game has 3 paths (ntr, sharing, and romance/non ntr). i followed the crappy in game walkthrough for the NTR path since i figured it would have the most content. but i think i ended up seeing scenes from all three routes?

scenes: i saw like 3 scenes (1 handjob, 1 blowjob, and 1 sex scene) only the blowjob was ntr. there was probably like 6ish teasing type of scenes, some with light ntr. overall, the scenes i saw were pretty solid but not enough for me to get off to

gameplay: the gameplay was honestly really odd but ill just chalk it up to the game being early development. at first it seemed like the gameplay would be decent but it quickly turns into "click one person then end your turn". from the screenshots i thought you'd be able to click around a house party and interact with people. but you're literally in 1 room and usually only 1 character has dialogue lol.

i finished the game in like 30-40 mins. i prob missed some scenes but i dont care enough to start over to find them. i might try the game again when its finished

Nemesis Party: NTR, or NOT [v0.07 Bugfix] :
Pros:
- The girls are really hot, especially Emma.
- The (NTR) scenes are amazing.
- Not a linear story or a yes or no situation.
- This is one of the few renpy games that got me excited playing it.

Cons:
- For v0.007, the game is still really short, not a lot of scenes.

I hope the author continues on this path until the game becomes a masterpiece someday.

Im giving it a 5 fore its potential but currently its a 3. Basically a blue balls simulator with little to no sex. Couple more updates and this will be top tier. Love the models and the story so far. The "nemesis" looks kinda stupid though.

My review of version 0.07

Pros:
- Fresh take on an old concept.
- Nemesis is white jock bully. Newer take than those majority black nemesis.
- Gossip and shop systems, which will become better with versions.
- Female characters are very fleshed out with personalities and body propotions. Jasmine is hawt!

Cons:
- Very less content (upto 10 turns).
- Still many bugs.
- Could be con for a players looking for VN rather sandbox.
- Male characters need more personalities (especially Faraz and Benji).

My suggestions:
- NTR mode (Possible Voyeur scenes for Benji-Emma and Lily-Faraz). Like a voyuer mode for MC. Could also possibly be every man gets a girl except MC lol.
- More fleshed out or more types of personalities other than current 5 for MC. (Scholar, Joker, Stud. Gentleman, etc)
- Threesome/Foursome/Orgy choices for Nemesis/MC.

At its current state, this game is 3 out of 5 stars, but considering the potential, I would rate is 5 star hoping to be a gem for future.

Wow, have to give this one props for actually having a game component to it, and a pretty interesting one at that. This game is very promising, the premise is unique, the models look great, and the gameplay is fun. My only critique is that there are a few bugs, like the infinite loop in the first scene and the few turns where you can't do anything. While they were annoying, it didn't make me like the game less.

It's a really promising game, in my opinion. Good artwork. A lot of potential. The girls look great (especially Emma Winters). The mechanics here are great, different, but pretty kool. Can't wait for the next iteration, with much more progress in the storyline and expansion of side stories. The game offers plot twists, humor, and witty dialogue that reflects actual(Kind of) life. All this builds up the immersion in the storyline.

Very promising start to the game. Good premise, interesting and funny characters, some really nice designs too. I particularly like the models for Abigail and Emma, and their unique characters. The nemesis is a little bit ridiculous, but I find the humour in it. He could be a bit less bulky for sure.

I'll look forward to future updates.

Not much content yet but the gameplay framework is unique and interesting. The TLDR is that it's a skill-based NTR game and you have to outmaneuver your rival if you don't wanna get cucked. Will be keeping an eye on this one.
