I'm not advocating for no action scenes, I just think complaining about the quantity or quality of them, in this medium... is silly.

I gave Pearl more forgiveness than Kira. I understand why she did it, her sister was going to be killed if she didn't. She could have done it differently and asked MC for help, but she was trying to save her sister's life. She was extremely remorseful and apologized multiple times.
While Kira broke her promise because she was jealous that Daddy liked Pearl more. And I don't remember her at any time apologizing, just saying 'what's done is done'. And MC saying I'll never trust you again, but let's make out.
Considering we were allowed to go scorched earth on Selena's betrayal, it was disappointing and surprising that we couldn't even be angry and upset at Kira for longer than 2 sentences.
Still no blackmail tag? That's pretty wild considering that's what the villain of the story does to the chick that runs the stable with the sister and the chick with the mom that has to figure out how to unseal the sword. Dude blackmails both of them and the maid as well. Blackmailed her and forced her to lie.

I never liked either of them, even before the betrayal. Kinda sad that we’re still following their story because I don’t care what becomes of them. If I needed another ship, I would go to someone else.

Bro the starting point of this discussion was too many lewds = not enough plot development/action scenes.
The dev uses animations for the lewds as still imagines are not ideal for lewds. And the dev isnt even using animations for the action scenes.
Furthermore we had pretty good action scenes since the beginning, the fight against the assassin is pretty good for example imo.

Caught up on what there is so far, I did spoil myself intentionally after reading stuff here that made me think I'd hate this. For me I hate LI's being harmed at all, just not something I want to see, It's so much worse when the baby dick asshole who does it keeps getting away. I assume LI's in danger will continue to be a thing going forward now so I will simply hope Eliza doesn't have to suffer more, though I expect she will whenever the vampire king creep makes an appearance.
Only have a few things that really bothered me, first being Taron or as I have renamed him Taron Baby Dick, he needs to go at this point. Really bored of him always being there and he Is once again threatening the guild so that'll be fun. I could also really do without Ellen, don't care if she is Eliza's mum the Bi shit is annoying. The pirate stuff after we get back to the city wasn't super interesting, Kelly's dad has pulled a Taron and outstayed his welcome.
The characters themselves are the strong point here for me, I feel like it's not a new sentiment here but Eliza Is by far the best girl, Trouble is a close second. Every Interaction between MC and Eliza has been the highlight of this for me, one that stands out because It was weirdly wholesome Is when she is bed bound and as MC comes into the room she just asks to be lifted Instead of breaking down. Despite hating the many "are you sure" prompts for Kira when we are supposed to be focused on curing Eliza, she did kind of ware me down by the end of that arc but It felt weird being even a little close with someone else considering the reason for the trip.
It's 4:30am I am exhausted and I have forgot what else I wanted to say.

Agree. Eliza is the best girl. I wish I could just automatically say no to everything with all the other girls and just have more time with Eliza. Dev says that for updates from December of this year to July of next year, MC is going to be going on a long journey. I'm going to be really upset if he doesn't take Eliza this time. 8 months with no new Eliza scenes would be terrible. I think I'd just have to wait until MC got back to play again and speed run through the 'long journey'. Like your sig(s) by the way. Cece was my only girl in Leap of Faith - blew off all the others from the first time I met her. I went with Mora in Bare Witness though (Mora turned out to be pretty amazing, fanatically loyal and surprisingly a total badass when MC was in danger.)

I bet you have Knox Mod installed (it makes the choices for you)
Right click, go to preferences. And top right you can disable mod integration.

Edit: That fixed it, thanks! Almost said yes to a romantic relationship with the Princess. How would that even work? Yes, I married the princess and I'm the king, even though I live on a farm outside of town, on a farm, with a different woman who I like way better.

I wondered how the princess storyline would play out too and then I realized on a full harem path you'd have a kingdom full of women you've been intimate with, bastards everywhere.
Also, +1 for Mora from Bare Witness. No regrets whatsoever about my choices there.

With you on Cece, changed my plan when playing the moment she shows up, In BW I intended to go with Mora cause Redhead but Athena just won me over Immediately.

Athena was already involved with the other girl in the apartment (blanking on name) - I was disappointed but wrote them both off immediately. Unlike probably the vast majority of F95 and people who play in this space, I don't find the girl on girl stuff hot. I have nothing against lesbians or women who are bi but - I don't want to watch, I don't want to participate and I don't want to break them up so if they're already in a relationship ... I won't be a dick to them, but they're off the list. I do not share my Lis - not with other dudes, and not with other women. I'm not even into exhibitionism - "no you can't even just watch". I don't cheat either (unless the game has unavoidable sex scenes, in which case I may stop playing unless there is a good reason for it.)

Yeah that was a bit of gut punch but It more or less comes up later that It's only casual and at no point did Heidi ever say anything about it being more so while she ends up pissed Athena doesn't see it as breaking up just as starting a relationship with MC and stopping the casual fucking. Not into girl on girl either so was never going to watch them or choose their threesome path.
