First, I need to commend the dev for the rather large amount of animations and the incorporation of sound. On the animation and scene variety alone, this is a 5/5, but the sound is a really nice bonus. Definitely add even more sound (moans, etc.) to the scenes in the sequel games dev!
The art in general is also good. It maybe could do with a little more details to the chest and other areas, but overall very nice pixel art for this kind of game, censorship aside. Seems like the dev is Japanese and was worried that uncensored could be a problem where they were posting the game on other sites, hence the censorship, but besides that it's good.
There is no gallery right now so you need to save before you complete each area because all the scenes happen through interactions with the enemies. You can run into the different levels and find enemies for the scenes. Hopefully a gallery is added in the future.
For the gameplay, it's very grindy. You go through 4 sets of three different types of dungeon-esque levels. The levels are as follows: A "swimming pool" level, a "dungeon maze" level, and an "extra area" level.
In the swimming pool levels, you have to run around and collect money that spawns in bags at random spots around a broken pool and avoid various randomly spawning enemies that assault you. When you collect enough money, you give it to a statue in the room and it lets you through to the next area. You keep your gold if you get "lewded" out of the pool area and so it carryovers until you have enough next time you try.
The first pool is the hardest to clear because money spawns in increments of 10 coin bags and you need 600 coins, so you need 60 bags total. In the later swimming pool rooms, higher levels of money spawn with dual and triple bag drops and chest drops with much higher amounts of money (chests are 100 gold each), so even though the amount to move forward goes up (600, 1000, 2000, 2500), the next pool areas are easier because the drops are better. At least in my experience.
In the maze level, you run around a maze dodging randomly spawning enemies and try to find stationary statues that you have to have sex with in order to break them. Once you find and break all of them the level clears and you move on to the next level type. The statues stay broken if you get lewded out before finishing, so you can keep trying again and make progress each time. I found the first maze to be the hardest because the layout just was the least intuitive and hardest to follow. There's no map or mini map which would have helped a lot for navigation.
After you beat the maze area, you go back to the broken pool and find it restored with random npcs walking around. They look like the enemies that were attacking you here before, but you can't interact with them. There's an icon for a door in each of these renovated pool areas that takes you into a room with another female character companion. These companions unlock the "extra" area when you talk to them. The companions become playable in these specific "extra" areas after your character gets lewded too much. In these extra areas, the goals are usually to find certain randomly spawning items in another maze type level to progress, but at a smaller scale. The last "extra area" also has a timed element which was more annoying than anything, but it's doable.
As the other review mentioned, there are issues with getting attacked as the enemies hone in on you directly and even keep moving towards you when you're locked in a struggle scene with another enemy or statue, so once the scene is over you can be surrounded by many enemies with no way out. The "struggle" button seems to lose its power the more you have to use it, and the more "health" you lose, or really the more "lewd" you gain from being attacked.
There's a set of scenes that surround your bedroom respawn area each day that you're often locked into. I found all of these to be kinda tedious after a while because they're the same repeated scenes for the most part and they just got in the way of what was already a grindy experience. There's some bad rng, not in your favor at all, involved in most of these bedroom and "swimsuit-choose" scenes appearing which doesn't help either because it made the trek back to each pool/dungeon area that much longer. You might encounter four of these scenes in a row in between losing in a dungeon and getting back to the same dungeon the next day. This is where a skip feature could do wonders. Also, some of these scenes actually have you losing gold which is annoying when you're trying to clear the pool areas, as they were already grindy enough. Having some of these forced bedroom scenes take some of your money just felt a little like pouring salt in the wound there, even if it wasn't a lot. One choice of your swimsuit did sometimes give you back money, and another "pick your card" choice also can but I rarely got those. You mostly just get the forced scenes instead.
Overall, it's a good first start. Adding a gallery (for the MC and the companion girls), a skip scene feature, and some better enemy balancing with locking the other enemies while you're in a scene with one/making struggle button work better, and all of that would really improve the experience here. To go above and beyond in the next game I'd say do all of that, plus toning down the grindy components and maybe adding some extra details on sound and art and that would really take it to a whole other level.
I'll definitely try out the next game the dev makes! A really promising start with this one!
