VN - Unity - Netorase Phone [v0.31.0] [Le Stag]

A game with NTS themes delivered in texting format may not be the most original proposition but this one delivers, in my opinion, a best in class execution of the formula, with quality consistent across the different routes which is a big plus.

Pros:

- The laser focus on this being the story of a loving couple, no matter which kinks they engage in and how they engage in said kinks, elevates the narrative and the intensity of the NTS. Too many games end up dedicating so little time to the romance that you almost can't tell that there's supposed to be a couple in there.

- Le Stag's writing of the erotic scenes is top notch, as is his decision making of which events should leave MC in the dark until they're over and which benefit from being live texted to him as they happen.

- UI and UX are polished which may sound like a minor thing but so many of these texting are so clunky that playing through them becomes a slog. I particularly like that you can pause the flow of text with a single click of the space bar.

- There's a LOT of content already for less than a year and a half since the original release.

- It's AI but the art is generally good quality and characters mostly look consistent with some exceptions. I love the 3 main female chara designs too.

Some (minor) gripes:

- Bouncing off the last pro, the male characters could stand to be a bit more varied. The two main ones (besides MC) are explicitly stated to look similar and in general for how corrupted Laura has already become she hasn't had that many partners and fewer distinct ones. Slut Era seems like the perfect moment to start fixing that !

- Some optimization issues as more saves are recorded (or is it just as the story progresses?), the game starts to slow down, which really I can't find a reason why that should happen.

- So I'm a sucker for social media content and the SquareGram stuff is a fine implementation but while all social media being in one app helps streamline the UI, it also oversimplifies the type of social content that can be made, with NSFW and SFW stuff sharing the same format and little interaction with the "audience". Maybe the Slut Era could also help fix that with "OF" type app for Laura (and Ashley... and maybe Tara soon) to actually get into interactions with the people who look at her stuff. Do like the caption content in the later parts of the current game tho !

Overall, a really, really great game and perhaps now my favorite NTS game out there.

Easily the best of this genre of phone chat games. The AI art is actually remarkably consistent and clean, and the writing is quite a bit of fun. The couple are loving and communicative, and the side characters are entertaining as well. There isn't a lot of branching but I think this helps make development easier and there's plenty of content, so it's worth the trade off.

A lot of AI art games are poorly put together slop but not this one - it's well worth your time

Good art and solid suspense during the early parts of the game; things build up very nicely.

My problem with the game came in later on when it becomes obvious that the player doesn't really have much choice - some of the choices will literally be to say that you like a suggestion from Laura, or an "I'm excited emoji" which is basically the same thing. The game would be much better served by giving the player enough agency and control to say 'no' if they don't like a scenario, etc. Since a game like this is based on respect between the characters, the MC should get final say on pretty much everything that happens so it was this part of the game design that has turned me off enough that I've stopped playing it.

Love the phone premise though - I first tried "Dirty Texts - Are You Sure?" and loved it and that's what led me to "Netorase Phone". With phone games like this, it's the suspense of not seeing everything happening, etc. and getting bits as it progresses, etc. But it felt like Dirty Texts you just had better control, etc. (and I liked that it was designed in such a way that the wife never saw the same person twice).

My short personal review of the game:

- Boring
- Unnecessarily long conversations
- Nothing major happened in the latest updates
- The player doesn't know what will happen based on their decisions

Summary:
At the beginning, it seemed like a great concept, but it turned into a boring game. This type of game should gradually level up and reward the player for the amount of text they go through, but that's not the case here. You just keep reading and reading without getting anything in return. The lastest update was a huge disappointed. There are plenty of other games out there that handle progression much better.

I usually don't like these phone games because the interface is a total mess, but this game is an absolute joy to play.

The right amount of interactivity with as little useless clicking as possible.

On top of that, the girls are super fun, and the content drip is well paced, to the point where I actually enjoy reading 90% of the content, where I usually skip through a lot of the boring dialogue.

This game finds creative ways to put new spins on old scenarios to add tension. Group chats and side conversations mix up the flow enough to keep things interesting.

This game has made my "follow and play every update" list. Love it!

Honestly, I'm not giving 1 star only because girls are hot, especially main LI and Tara.

However, there is a lot of text and I mean a LOT. I spent like 3-4 hours and I was on fast skip text reading most of it but still. Most choices are very akward and most of the times lead to the same issue. You get asked early Stag, Cuck or ???? route? Like no details for the 3rd one. You never fully know if you take a turn or not or what can really happen. All I know is I tried to avoid being a cuck and get in Tara's bed.
I get asked choices like do you find this hot? Then when I get a choice like no or meh, she usually is like don't try or of course you did and then you bend and say yes.

I understand this is called Netorase phone and not Netorare but what is the point of playing a game when there is no free will? Might as well read a book, a manga or something. Especially coming from a game that took so much time putting that much text and is mainly text based,

I would have spent less time repeating encounters like

one of the best of the ntr/s genre, Some will say it's stretching too much, it's complicated to keep up with the releases but playing everything at once makes the game extremely complete. I would also say that interactions outside of the stories need to be improved, such as the applications themselves that seek to work within the cell phone of this universe. Perhaps reworking chapters that have already been released.

I meant to make a review for this earlier but only just found the time right now and I absolutely love the game. It's fun, hot, realistic, has great characters and little side stories, different paths to chose and is overall just really well made. It's simple, yet really damn fun. Great game and much love <3

If I had 3 words to describe this game it would be:

- monotonous
- inflated
- sanitized

Or you could just say its boring. Every chapter is large amounts of the same bland, tasteless slop. This game takes 'quantity over quality' to the extreme.

The scenes and models are beautiful and catchy

The story is not bad, although there are some flaws.

I recommend it to all fans of the genre.

One of the best games on the theme (cheating/cuckolding/sharing) that I've ever played! The characters are well-built without rushing, the tension of the situations and the plots are also very well-constructed. The graphics are beautiful and sensual, just like the game. This has to be one of my absolute favourite games, and that's coming from a guy who doesn't really like male POV games. All the characters are great (except for Oliver, he's just a prick) especially my dream girl Tara she's supernova hot. It's got a really cool and well thought out story and the scenes fit together brilliantly, the artwork is fantastic and each update always goes on longer than I expect it to so that's always a sign of good storytelling. So all in all a brilliant game and brilliant update

for the first time in a very long time I came across something so good... firstly, this game provides a choice, an important choice because there are many genres of NTR, and the difference between them, although it lies in the details, but it radically changes both the attitude and the perception of events... at the moment I have only completed the NTRS branch, and... you know, this is exactly what I wanted to see in this branch, normal (or not so), responsible relationships of adults who really treat each other with respect no matter what... people who value their freedom and respect the freedom of others... unfortunately, there are very few games of similar themes and quality... good luck to the developers, I hope everything will be fine with them...

Amazing art design and bantering between the characters. The phone interaction cuts out all the background noise and we just focus on the story and pictures they take.

There's probably a dozen apps and/or characters the creator can add to the story but it's incredible as is. I'm now a supporter on your Patreon.

This is perhaps the most incredible game in the genre of telephone correspondence. Attractive girl, competent correspondence, lots of answers. Netorare is at a remarkable level.

At the moment, I've completed more than half of the game and I'm thrilled. I'm walking down the road of corruption and subjugating a girl to me when she asks before she sleeps with anyone. I hope that group sex/gangbang is present in the game as you progress, it would be interesting to see something like this.

I hope for updates, and that the developers will not abandon the project.

Ok before getting to the points representing my rating, let's first go for the good/decent traits of this game :
- The game interface is pretty well done and easy/quick to use
- General aesthetics and female characters are pretty appealing
-Ashley and Tara are pretty entertaining and interesting characters putting some freshness into the game.

But in my opinion those few goods traits doesn't give the game a passing mark.
Here's why :
- The netorase is kind of forced feed on you, like I know it is the principle of the game but after 5-10 messages, you're already on full confession on it. It really lacks subtlety.
-The player interaction in the game is mostly useless, after having chosen your path at the beginning, the rest of the game is mostly you answering "yes" or "YES!" or chosing two different emojis after receiving a picture. It is kind of lacking.
-What is lacking is also the lore, basically it is your girlfriend being corrupted step by step, and nothing wrong with that. But it is mainly how it is done that really becomes repetitive and boring. Most of the game after that is pretty much : Girlfriend purchase outfits (send pictures), girlfriend go see a man (send pictures), tell us how she felt. And repeat again and again. With only or "i'm horny" as the MC answer.
-That makes the MFC and the MC as pretty shallow characters, because their states of mind are very simplistics and their interactions are very "linear"
-And finally, the sex scenes are very underwhelming. The pics sent during sex from one frame to another have very minor changes with mostly "gentle sex". Like there is nothing kinky, nothing sloppy, barely any new angles or better details from one pic to another during the same sex scene. The point in the game is to see your girlfriend get fucked like the MC never did her before, but yet it doesn't really happen, or isn't really well pictured.

Best NTR Game available around here.

While games like NTRPhone established the phone interaction game around here, NetorasePhone perfected the story and world building.

The dynamic between the main character and Laura is one of the bests, if not the best for any kind of NTR scenarios. The vibe and the relationship between them is honest, healthy and wholesome. They also give you a lot of different kinks within the cuckolding theme to explore which is amazing.

Technically the devs also experiment with new features like voice messages.

I am a supporter of the game myself and always hyped for new updates. Amazing work by the team.

Not into NTR, but in this game the MC is getting action. The MC and FMC are both in on the kink making it far more "wholesome".

I hope in future updates they keep adding more female characters and that they interact with each other and the MC more. Praying for threesome/moresome between MC and the women

Ah, stable diffusion, how you've rocked the world of porn games too hard.

To give Civitai anything more than two stars would be insulting to developers who pay hundreds to invest in artists, or developers who themselves are artists and do the drawing, coloring, shading, coding, etc..

It's stable diffusion. You've seen it 236.000 times according to Rule34 alone. It's the same faces and same bodies over and over, with altered details.

• Gameplay: ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆
There is no "gameplay" as much as any linear VN. But honestly, it works.

I'm quite comfortable with the linear tone of the game. You're texting through a phone, what else do you expect? I do wish there were more Squaregram interactions like stories that would replace the constant selfies. For instance, you know Laura is going out with her friends, you're texting about it, but a story on Squaregram shows you what they're drinking, what they're wearing, etc.. It'd help immersing.

There are a few branching points, but the outcome is the same, only changing the characters. I'm fine with it. I'd rather have it this way, than having 40 saves per path.

• Storyline: ☆☆☆☆☆
Very well crafted, allowing you to bond and feel the characters.

Le Stag manages to write a very, very compelling and believable story. He nails some criteria that are very important:

1. Likely scenarios that don't deviate from reality.
2. Progressive introductions to each character.
3. Between-scenes content (sleeping; showering; coming back; etc.)
4. Usage of a Dark Night of the Soul technique* adapted to the light tone of the storyline (Mike Event; spoilers avoided).
5. Slowburning pace.
6. Focusing on the couple as well, and expanding upon their dynamic instead of merely on the other partners.

Unfotunately, the story becomes a bit more stale towards the end. Not enough for me to detract a star, though.

* - A critical turning point where the protagonist experiences something bad that makes them reconsider what they're doing or who they are.
