Now, to be fair, I imagine it's much harder to write a compelling love story where main characters (especially the girl) sleep around.
I'd say it's no more complicated than writing any other romance. The harder part is managing the audience and it's hair trigger.

I'd say the whole notion of a compelling story is the reaction of the audience. Can't be a compelling story if it doesn't compel anyone. So if managing the audience in a story with such a premise is harder, then it is definitionally harder to make such a love story compelling.

Though I was speaking mostly of a divide between writing the story, which is not any harder than anything else. in opposition to managing people outside on things like social media, who have an easy hair trigger on this kind of romance. I honestly wasn't talking about a compelling text at all.

But I admit your answer is perfectly valid. I think It's mostly down to a difference of how we both see things I think.

Yeah, I get that. I was just pointing out that whether a love story (or any other type of story) is compelling is always dependent on the audience and what it considers a norm. And thus it is harder to write a compelling story with elements that are considered deviant.
If I lived in a slaver society that considers slaves subhuman and frowns on same-sex relationships, it would be much harder for me to write a compelling love story between a slave woman and a noblewoman, than if I made it a story between a nobleman and a noblewoman. Because the latter is the norm while the former would be considered an abomination.
Same, but to a lesser degree, with promiscuity and open relationships.
P.S.: having written that, I remembered an idea from a podcast, that all the great love stories that stood the test of time, have one thing in common — the lovers always defy societal norms in one way or another. So maybe I am actually completely wrong in the long run:LOL:

just saw the author shortening the paths. Hey, that's super smart. I want to express my respect and support for this. I'm browsing through the threads of abandoned projects. And one of the two main reasons for their abandonment, in my opinion, is too many paths (Hello, Duet of Love and Lust), the second problem is the abundance of characters. In any case, I'm glad they chose to optimize. And I hope there won't be any UFOs, orcs, or anything like that.

I have an issue where I can't save whenever I click the backup app nothing pops up
Close the game, go to the save folder of the game, i.e.
\AppData\LocalLow\Le Stag
and delete everything. Then open the game again, it should be fixed! I had the same issue, worked for me. Warning though, it deletes all the progress and saves, you must play again from start.

Can anyone bring me up to speed whats the latest development with the characters? I stopped playing the updates shortly after MC got to do Blondie. Was he able to do it again another time? What about the Tan girl? Tara was it?
