You won't. I'm sorry, but every choice I give you, every option, compounds with others. Some recent chapters have been hell to write because of so many elements acting with each other, creating literally dozens of different situations that I had to account for.

So, yeah, I'm embracing linearity.
Yeah choices should be kept only for major events. Gotta keep it as low amount as possible for development to keep flowing.

So, yeah, I'm embracing linearity.
I find that it's often - if not always - better to focus on one path, work on it and finish it. Then at the very least, the game will have an ending. It's always possible to add & work on other paths later.
While players would probably want more (3686584664 paths!), working on several things at the same time makes it easy to get overwhelmed. I've seen far too many devs trying to do too many things at once... Most ended up having a burnout / gave up and their games never got a single ending, just a bunch of unfinished paths.
