Greetings to the F95 community. I have always been a fan of visual novel games and there was always something at the back of my mind wishing that I could do something just like it. After countless months of self-doubt, worry and the like, I finally have started my first project.
The people that gave me confidence about it is none other than this website right here. I didn't know how much of a welcoming place this community was considering the theme of the website. Overall from what I've seen as a visitor of the website, I was given confidence from random threads all around about people talking about their experiences on making their first game and this website being their way of sharing and discussing their games. I find it invigorating and empowering about the tight-knit community this place has cultivated.
As of right now, I have typed over 4,500 words and 24,369 characters for my Ren'py game and looking to go even further beyond. My game which I unfortunately don't have anything interesting to show yet as it's in early stages. Looking forward to seeing you around in a future thread where I've released my game.
I would like to extend my thanks to the people who create games and gave me inspiration, to the website itself having such great members and very supportive people indirectly giving me confidence and hope that I could do the same and to the countless developers whose games I've tried and been inspired by.
