New Gens for Victoria vs Golden Palace For Genesis 8

So which is better? I've been looking at renderotica trying to decide which to get. I already have New gens for Victoria 7 and it works great. All the models I have tried so far have matching skins for the genitals which is awesome. I remember a few years ago getting 3rd party genitals then realizing the skins would not match. Then reading up on how to get the skins to match... having it set up so it all matches up with a few clicks is great.

So how are the skins for golden palace for genesis 8? Will I have to edit skins and or UV maps to get them to match the models I want to use? New gens for V8 claims it has the maps for all the major characters already but Golden palace does not which is why I ask.

Other creators have made poses that automatically work with golden palace like Xameva and 3dlust which is why I am also interested in this gens. Any other advantages or disadvantages that I have not thought or you have encountered?

I have both and have to switch between them. I like Golden Palace for the better posing controls; however, it conflicts with the Cum On Me skin overlays to the point that I can't use both at the same time. When I need to have Cum On Me, I switch out and use the Genesis 8 gens for the render as it does play well with others.

I really wish I could get both to work well with each other but it's beyond me.

So you like Golden Palace better for every thing except for a few situations where you want to use cum on me? It does seem like it has better pose control. So I guess getting the skins to match the models is not a problem for Golden Palace? Thanks for the reply.

Golden a Palace has a script to copy skins to match. It worked with the Genesis 8 models I've used. Other than the use case I had issues with, it's my go to gens to use.

I've found DB''s Genesis 8 cum series that solved my problem. The IRAY textures are just what I need. Thy play very well with Golden Palace, so now I can completely recommend Golden Palace over New Gens for Victoria.

Golden Palace copy skins script was absolutely amazing for a complete beginner like me.. So I'd recommend that. I first tried new gens but could never figure out how to get the skins to match...

I have the two products and I noticed golden palace is more versatile, but it seems its genitalia are placed too below, and I can't get a realistic shape for frontal shoot.
I attached two examples of what I mean: default G8F (on the left), and golden palace (on the right).
Anyone can help me? Thanks

I have found that Golden Palace, because of its surface groups, is easier to manipulate and make morphs for in Mudbox. I don't really use the packaged morphs it comes with very much.

I'm not able to use additional softwares (except a little bit of photoshop), so I have to do all in daz3d.
I would like to know if there is a way to make golden palace gens "go a little upper", so that I can see more major labias

Golden Palace is a clear winner when it comes to versatility: posing, adding piercings, adding pubic hair works out of the box and it even comes with a few options for vaginal squirt. It also handles super-sized cocks (i.e. these really thick ones) easier due to its massive amount of morph dials. I found that New Genitalia for Victoria 8 (NGV8) has limits in such situations as vagina and anus do not stretch that wide.

One drawback with Golden Palace for newbies could be that it gets a bit more complex once you add other products that use shells (e.g. Breastacular or Lickalicious). Introducing any of these results very likely in ghosting (some body parts are all in a sudden white) and you need to understand how these products work together in order to fix it. There are some Shell Fix tools included but they do not always work well. Once you understand the concept of shells however you can easily fix these issues but again, it could be frustrating for a newbie.

So, Golden Palace looks like a clear winner but where lies NGV8's strength?

Well, when you look for photo-realistic shots, NGV8 looks so much better than Golden Palace and the difference in quality is not even close. Vagina, Anus and (with the add-on) pubes are super realistic; Golden Palace looks in comparison much more artificial.

Whenever I use close up pussy shots, I always use NGV8 but for porn scenes, I usually go with Golden Palace.

Golden Palace looks like a severe case of nappy rash or something, if you bend them over the ass is that red its like they have a rough few weeks in Bali.
