Ren'Py - Completed - New Perspective [Steam] [Vermilion Stardust]

The exact definition of subpar. The game isn't BAD by any means but seeing the game has a 4.5 rating when I'm writing this, I must admit I'm a bit disappointed. First of, this is NOT a sandbox game, there is a single moment when you can kinda roam your house but that's it, don't think you'll get actual gameplay, you won't.

I heard a music once, sex scenes are indeed animated but quite in a basic way.
Story was cool, though apparently plagiarized from an other game (which I didn't play to be fair).

So overall 2/5

First off, this game is pretty much committing plagiarism of another game. Second, it's a worse game with one of the main offenders being a fake incest game. Whereas the game it is plagiarizing is an incest game, this game puts you in a situation where someone is clearly your sister but changed it to some childhood friend that happens to live with you. This makes all the dialogue and descriptions of their relationship way worse. In essence, instead of plagiarizing, the developer should have just made their own story that has no incest in it. Other than that, the whole story is on-rails and goes from scene to scene with very little transitions which makes the story feel all over the place.

Short and sweet game! The women look hot, (not the best models I've seen but great), the scenes are hot. The story hot and complete. Not a very complex or long game, but good at what it does. Does not waist your time with useless grind, or time - fillers. I recommend it.

The beginning is a bit boring but fits well with the game. But the story is a mixture of love and BDSM. Nice graphics. I hope to find more erotic kinks in the game. A gallery to see the progress made would also be nice.

I like this game a lot.
The characters look good, and the renders are descent. The story is good not really there, but for this game it actually works.

I think this game stands out because of the dom/sub/humiliation scenes between MC and one of the girls in the game.
Those scenes are not rushed, they are well written, the renders are generally OK, and the choices you make in them are cool as well.


This to me is not a 5* game in general, but the breath of fresh air in those scenes lift it from a 3.5* to 4.8*.

Fun to play. If ur into a bit of BDSM ect u will like this, its not a long game but for what it is i think its decent. The graphics are ok not the newest engine thaugh. I like that there no dumb minigames or anything distracting in it, you pretty much get what the tags say.

The visuals are great, with some very cute LIs and good animations. Hence 4 stars.
This is a remake of PWF, but regardless, as a story in its own right, it's not over-complex. There are love paths and plot threads to unravel as you progress. At this stage (Day 3), there are limited LI paths open, but the variables suggest around 7, or 8 potential hookups.
I do have some reservations about the inconsistent douche behaviour of the MC. One minute he's super-supportive and caring to a troubled LI, then later he's doing a really clumsy job of being a 'dom'. I'm much more drawn to the visual appeal of this game, than the writing.
Looking forward to future updates though..

Played through the current content. I'm missing 5 Lilian images but I'd say I have seen most of the content. Some minor spoilers ahead.

The story feels quite generic. Without spoiling anything I could sum it up by saying "Guy goes to school and tries to fuck anything that moves, mostly successful".
The dialogue does not really make things better. It feels just as generic. The phrases lead from one scene to the next without generating any interest or curiosity on my part. Especially when taking someone's virginity the lack of any emotional connection to anyone involved feels quite jarring.
I don't usually go for dom/sub content so take this with a grain of salt. The dynamic between Lilian and MC feels very unnatural. She caves in right away despite both MC and herself being new to this sort of behavior. I'd have thought that even if you are interested in dom/sub stuff as evidenced by her browsing habits, taking it to real life would be a bit of a challenge or struggle. Ultimately that would be probably more interesting to watch as well. I'm thinking of something like the movie "Secretary".

Anyways, I will likely come back in a year or so and check if things have improved but for the moment this is not for me.

I wonder about the high rating of this game. Story and characters are almost identical to another game called Playing with fire.

Moreover, dialogues are childish, the dominant relation-building is silly, facial expressions are almost non-existent, characters speak without opening their mouths, sex scenes are very brief and animations are elementary.

Models are decent though...

Just what I like. Submissive girls letting themselves get caught by a dominant man. Very enjoyable game. Nice renders. Good dialogue. Well written. Very promising. I shall follow this with pleasure and just hope it will continue down the path it started.

I am positively surprised how the game developed. The beginning is boring, the MC looks like a douchbag. But what starts like a typical, many times seen story on siblings and their rivalry is soon turning into a love and BDSM story.
Looks very promising and I hope to find some great kinks later in the game.

Excellent start, you could put the language htrough an AI bot or something to correct the many mistakes, but I don't think any of your audience are here for spelling mistakes Interesting story, I'd be interested to see where it goes since we in theory at least have the entire prmise in the demo.

I'm not great at rating games, but here's why I enjoyed this prologue very much:

Interesting story line, characters have a certain depth and captivating dynamics between them, dialogues are well-written with a hint of good humor; graphics are well made with enough attention to detail, just enough animation and no obvious stock material, characters are very attractive and natural, not ridiculously over-featured (I, personally, also enjoy the absence of MILF material ).

To me, this is one of the most interesting recent developments and definitely worth keeping an eye on. Bravo!

Maybe a patch would be welcome to get rid of the step-BS.
But a great game which is heading for the Podium of F95!
