Introduction
Hello everyone! It’s my first post on the website, so I think making this introduction thread is the right thing to do. I don’t normally post in forums, so this is a pretty new experience to me. I hope if I break any rules, people are going to let me know.

About me
I made this account some time ago with the purpose of downloading lewd games, and sometimes searching for save files after beating games, so my guess is this is not that different from most people here. I’m not that good at interacting with others on the internet, so I spent many years avoiding forums, and social media and just sticking to 4chan.

Lewd Games I like to play
I played some classic Visual Novels long time ago, but these days I pretty much avoid them. I am much more into games with engaging gameplay, and rich mechanics. I like it when games require strategy, and skill, and I think the bar shouldn’t be lowered just because games have nsfw content in them.
I think unlocking lewd content as part of gameplay, and for playing the game well is really rewarding, which is why I dislike games that require you to lose/play badly.
I enjoy variety of different video game genres, and the same thing could be said about the tags I am into. I can play a game with good gameplay and bad art, but I cannot “play” a “game” with good art, but no gameplay. If the gameplay is good, then I can even deal with MTL.

My Interests
In my free time I like to watch anime series, read manga, and play lewd games, but most of my time is actually spent on working on my own lewd game called Goblin Resort.

I am aware I am not allowed to post any links until I make 3 posts, and that is fine. People expect to see nsfw games here, but my game, Goblin Resort is still in early development, so I think not posting the link to its itch page is not going to be a problem. I am going to try attaching some gameplay gifs (I think that’s ok, right?), and if anyone is interested to check it out, it can be found very easily.

It brings me joy knowing people play my game, so I would love to hear from you, if you decide to give it a try.

I promised myself to post the game here when I actually have lewd content, but. If someone else uploads it in future instead of me doing it, then that would be pretty cool too, because as I mentioned above, I am not good with all the forum internet stuff.

Final Words
I’ll be frank, I was not entirely sure what this post should look like, and it took me multiple revisions, and checking out other people’s introduction posts to get it to this point. As a side note, I would like to let you know I do not have internet at home, so my replies can take few days. I still make updates to Goblin Resort on pretty much weekly basis, so I am usually online after that, but I am not going to bore you with the details.

I am going to attach some gifs from my itch page like I mentioned above. I hope it's ok. They are very small, because itch has a 3MB gif limit. I have no idea if f95zone has similar limits

No lose-to-lewd approach? Perfect. I hope you know and are aware that people generally aren't kind, polite and/or fair when it comes to criticism and thus you have a thick hide as a Dev. BUT since you were sticking to 4chan i suppose this won't be an issue at all

Looks cool. I have to wonder if adding porn to something like this is smart though. You have to consider that lewd games will lose out on a lot of the potential players. It's a niche market. However, an otherwise unremarkable game could come out ahead with this niche appeal where a bigger percentage of a smaller player base chooses to engage. If you truly believe in your game to be the next indie hit, it would certainly be better to make it a normal game. If you suspect it might just fly under the radar, you could make it a lewd game to at least hit a certain amount of potential players.

That said, gameplay eroges are a niche within a niche. The majority of lewd game players will not bother playing things with extensive gameplay. They prefer VNs and simple point and click stuff. When it comes to more twitch based games, the ones with bigger appeal are the female protagonist side scrolling platformers with rape mechanics.

Personally, I prefer turn based rather than real time for lewd games. RPGs and strategy games are a good fit. It just lets you chill and take things at your own pace and actually get into the mood to fap.

I will be honest with you, I have no interest in making a non lewd game. This is not about making the game to hit a certain number of players, or opting for a porn game because I think the game is going to go under the radar. It's about making a lewd game for people like myself who enjoy lewd games, but they also want to have more gameplay.
I understand it is a very niche of niches. I cannot actually think of any other porn game like the one I am working on, so I hope it's for the better, and not for worse.

I get what you mean when it comes to turn based vs real time. Most hentai games are turn based, or are the type of games you can play with one hand... we all know why. I guess, I just really wanted to go for something different.
