Review for v0.1.4

A One Piece parody trainer game where you play as an overtly perverted marine captain forced to work at Impel Down, a prison, after a recent fuck up. I played this on a whim as it being fully illustrated with good animations caught my eye (plus I like One Piece), and that ended up being the only thing I really stayed for.

I have never been a fan of lewd games leaning into that cheesy porn game dialogue. Where the MC is constantly saying crude lines about wanting to fuck, calling everyone bitches and sluts, etc etc. That's what this game does. It made reading the MCs lines kinda insufferable for me so I started skipping a bunch.

I also started skipping when I seen I had to repeat the same events ten times over in many different areas to build up a bunch of different stats to progress. None of it is especially engaging or varied enough to warrant paying attention to. So now I'm skipping both the dialogue and gameplay, leaving me with JUST the sex stuff.

Like I mentioned that part is fine enough. I'd be lying if I said it's my favorite art style but I do always like playing illustrated games like this. The animations are surprisingly good too, probably the best aspect of the game. But even with sex I'm skipping most of the dialogue because I just don't want to hear the MC speak.

If you're here for mindless One Piece themed sex this game is good for that, but every aspect outside the art/animations is just uninteresting to me. One of those games I'd maybe come back and grab a full save for if anything.

For such an early release version (0.1.4) of a game what's here is quite amazing, the tashigi route seems mostly complete, and sadi, domino and hina also all have quite a few scenes as well, enough to satisfy.

The gameplay is pretty much standard sandbox vn stuff, the grind is acceptable. There just isn't a whole lot of game yet, you get stronger for a while till you can't anymore (cuz early version) and you grind some money, which you use to buy gifts/progression items for the girls. But there are some hints that quite a lot more is planned.

What really impressed me the most in this game though is that there are animations, and the animation quality is actually fairly good.

An improvement I would like to see would be better sound effects for the sex scenes, namely moans.

What I really didn't like was the hina route, you have to just basically get her drunk over and over and over again till she's willing to do some shit, not only that you also have to give her rum and not drink it to progress a different stat which is also required for progression but wasn't immediately obvious.

Overall, there's much room for improvement, but that's to be expected for a game this early in development. Ultimately though, the game's off to a great start and already has enough content for a couple of faps.

One of the best 2D animations I have played. The dev mixed tracing of real porn and resulted on really good animated scenes.

The gameloop is pretty good, the characters have a lot of different appels, and the content until now is great, with a resonable progression.

I don't usually do reviews, I even think it's my first one, I have to say that I find this game really really good, and I even think that it's the best one piece game that can be found here. (Sorry for the not very good English, I'm French).

Sounds in the scenes will go a long way.
The game seems like its going to be grindy at first but then it moves forward.
Good selection of girls as well.

When he adds more girls i hope its not Robin AND Boa, two girls that look quite similar to each other. pick one.
Variety is good here and i hope it keeps up.

Great game. Straight forward and not too grindy. A good variety of scenes and girls. Developer is responsive and has a schedule, so hopefully the game will be consistently updated. Looking forward to more

Fantastic hand drawn art.
I expected very little content from the low version number, but I was surprised to see there is a decent amount.
The waifus are cute and sexy. And I enjoyed the interaction with them.
I found very few spelling errors.
Game is a little bit grindy. I ended up cheating a bit with universal renpy mod.
overall I highly recommend this.

Overall a good game! For a simple explanation, I'll say it has great scenes but a decent amount of grind. Also, for reference, I have only watched around 30 One Piece episodes and have no connection to the IP behind this game. As for the more in-depth explanation:

The Good: The scenes are very well done. All animated, even simple teasing/early training scenes. The animations are great and above most of what I see on F95. The characters are distinct enough from each other, although they don't have deep storylines other than their basic character traits. However, I'm okay with this because it's better than overexplaining every part of their story. Too many games have so much exposition and info dump every character throughout their storyline without a fair trade in the amount of content. Worldbuilding and character depth is important at a point, but for most porn games in development for less than a couple years, I would bypass those for content anytime.

The Bad: It's a trainer game, so prepare for some grind. Once I found out it was a trainer, I expected a decent amount. The scenes were very much reminiscent of Akabur's training scheme, with each type of training having a few hearts and maybe a choice per scene. However, there was some extra grind that I wasn't too fond of, including the strength training, jailbreak stopping, etc. Not that I don't want to do events like that to build stats, I actually enjoy that mechanic. My main issue is I had no idea what milestones of these skills would earn me new scenes. So I had to kind of spam scenes until I got a new one or spam training until I got to a ridiculously high level. For strength, it tells you at 30 that it's not worth training. For the other skills, I never got to a level that told me that. That's my main gripe with this game.

Overall, very excited for the future of this game. The developer seems competent and the product so far is very worth playing. Highly recommend to anyone who enjoys the trainer genre!

finally a good OP game with good graph and anims, i like these kind of sandbox system so im really happy, im waiting for more ! I hope he won't go abandonned like the others OP games Need to wait some month for a good amount of content but atm it's still enjoyable

Fantastic game. The animations and models are of outstanding quality, perfectly resembling their One Piece counterparts. Additionally, progress with girls appears natural, and I didn't sense any forced interactions. You've got things moving at a good pace. The sex scenes are enjoyable; you kept some heat in them and there's just enough dialogue. Many games have an excessive amount of emphasis on the visual aspects of sex, which results in incredibly dull doll animations that lack dialogue and rhythm. It's a good concept for the main character to be able to go slow, fast, quick and hard or incredibly fast and hard. Keep it up. In terms of my tastes, I really appreciate how much anal you put into the project.. I'm afraid that this is just a coincident and Domino fixation influenced the ratio but I wish you could keep focusing on this kink.

Now for a few small issues and suggestions. You ought to rewatch Tashigi's final scenes (the anal ones). There are so many quality lapses in their writing that sometimes I couldn't understand what you were saying. It would be great if you could also consider spending some time refining the facial expressions in sex scenes. For instance, during sex with Domino, she goes crazy with moans and screams, yet her face is lifeless. It would also be fantastic to have more sounds. There are plenty of sounds from the surroundings that we hear, such as whips, fighting, striking, and more, but very few sounds related to sex.

maybe add a quick option to sleep instead of (click boat>room>sleep )there is no reason to do all that just to sleep when we have to do it EVERY DAY.
maybe also the prison minigame give the option to skip it after doing it 10 time or something,it's the same thing over n over again

The best One Piece game I've played so far. It's a 2D non-ai and the CG and animation are fire so I give it a solid 5star. It's still 0.1.2 at the time I'm writing this review so its future is bright. Just hoping it doesn't get abondoned.

v0.1 Nice Parody, nice setup.. also the drawing.. BUT

but.. the ingame mechanics are already exhausting and boring and pain in the ass. No Questlog, no overview, no skip button, no action points showed.. etc..

Review of 0.1:
I have to say straight away that I'm not really familiar with the One Piece universe. Never the less, I really enjoy this game so far, which is a testament to its quality in itsself.
I've always been a sucker for trainer/corruption games and although this game doesn't do anything revolutionary in that regard, it's really solid for a 0.1 and makes me want more.
I expect the different characters to have varied ways to progress with, and have their own dynamics with the MC in the future, so I'm really looking forward to that.
The art of some of the NPCs is a bit wonky, but the main 'love interests' look great, and that's what counts. I also think the Dev found a good balance between world building, gameplay (minor grind) and h-content.
So yeah, overall I would recommend to check out the game even at its 0.1 stage and it's one to watch out for!

Nowadays trainer type games are losing their charm. Most trainers have the same gameplay system with same elements. On top of that, the newer trainer games are becoming more softcore which is further downgrading the genre. This game looks extremely promising. I hope the devs will add many avoidable/depending on choices hardcore/extreme themes like unconsensual exhibition, public shaming, hardcore blackmailing, sharing, prostitution, gangbang etc in a different route.

As of Version 0.1 this so far has A LOT of potential, this has good humor and dialogue, very nice art, great character art (I like how similar it is to the source material) and the animations are pretty good. There haven't been any good One piece hentai games so its great to finally see one rise from the ashes. So far 10/10 as of Version 0.1, can't wait to see where this one goes.
