This might be a stupid question, but where exactly do most game devs get their art from? I'm mainly curious about animated stuff like from

. Do they make it themselves? If so what kinds of programs are good for such art? Any help around this would be greatly appreciated.

The art for that game in particular is made by the dev, usually when it's not, it's quite obvious, sourced from many different artists and not consistent.

I can't speak for them, but I would assume they're using adobe or a cheap/free program like Gimp
