Newbie question: my light sources are casting shadows

I'm using Daz Iray with an HDRI scene and attempting to add three-point lighting to my scene. I just noticed that there are shadows appearing beneath the light sources, despite their not being otherwise visible. Is there any way to avoid this? I could use some tricks to hide the shadows but it seems weird to have to do this when the lights are not visible objects that should be casting a shadow.

Huh. Yeah all the tutorials I read said to use either rectangle or circle light emitters but I switched to point and it got rid of the shadow with no noticeable difference in the lighting results.

lighting in daz is the hardest thing to learn in daz just keep on practising you will get it to work out you just need to find your own lighting setup
