A pretty intresting Deckbuilder that is pretty good but has some caveats, so here are some tips to have a more enjoyable experience.
As a Deckbuilder Build variety is actually pretty good in this game and the Enemies have their own Builds that are stronger or weaker against certain Builds.
You have multiple Deck Slots and you can Edit them as much as you want to make your build perfect and chose the right build against the right opponent.
But there is a problem, your Starting Cards are Pure Garbage, this is not just your Starting Builds being weaker, this is straight up your Starting Deck Not Being Viable at all against most early game enemies.
So you have a couple of routes you can go:
The Save Scumming route where you save for every reward item and after ever enemy battle and keep reloading until you get something good that is useable.
The Grinding route where you do the Tutorial Dungeon over and over again to get enough cards until you get something you can build on.
You can also Reset and Redo the Early Dungeons over and over but note that your Eldritch Levels do not reset.
You can use Bathroom Mirrors and some Classroom events to lower your Eldritch amounts.
The Demon Card route where you Max out your Eldich Levels and trying for New Game+ while getting as many good cards as possible.
The Remains of Ritual is a kind of "Elite" that is pretty good for this as they give good cards and relics.
In terms of Cards you should look for, anything that has Graveyard and On Hand effects can be pretty reliable, especially since only certain enemies messes with your hand.
You have some Cards that do Cleanse of Transient or Debuff cards as well as turning them into Tingles, this is useful if you get a lot of Debuff Relics from Events or Demon.
Tingles are your best defense as they are both defense and card draw of your actual useable cards and you can recycle them from Graveyard in some cases.
Unlike your Hand which is limited and not as reliable this game is more about searching your Deck or Graveyard and using cards from there. Graveyard effects and on hand effect are far more reliable. Mana isn't as much of a issue as you can reliably store it per turn or through certain cards.
The card that returns a card from the graveyard in hand is especially useful in the early game as you get Discards into Graveyard from getting damage as your Deck is your HP and and you can select whatever it is there.
Once you actually have some cards the game is pretty enjoyable in finding and experimenting with builds and the game has some Replayability in terms of the cards you get and in what you can Builds with them against Enemy Builds.
