VN - Ren'Py - Next Steps [v0.03.2] [AmazingB]

Very very boring..........I got sick of all the different path choices. I didn't know if I was locking myself out of sex scenes or what?
I couldn't bring myself to care about multiple MC's
Didn't take long until the tedious dialogue had me skipping, also the game seemed overly dark. Just cause it's night does not mean it's dark, just flick the light switch on.
To sum up: If monotony gets you hard or wet this is the game for you.

The story is kinda bland and nothing special plus it doesnt help that the renders and animations are below average. This would be a decent play in 2017

The "son" MC is the typical creep, the step mom can be either slut or a good wife, the daughter is a slut, the dad can be a cheater.

If you're familiar with 3D incest harem games, you probably think you know what you're getting into from the moment you saw "stepmom". It doesn't feel like the dev got the memo. I have a lot of minor gripes with this, but it would be serviceable if it didn't insist on focusing so much on your dad and stepmom sleeping around for some reason. That's right, it's not just a harem for the MC, everybody's sleeping with basically everyone! It makes the whole thing one messy polyhedron, and if you don't like a character, too bad! They probably have routes with at least the MC, dad, and stepmom, so you're gonna have to try hard to make them go away (if you even can. I'm not playing this again to check.)

The writing is bland, which isn't a surprise, but the sex scenes aren't worth it. They're about the most amateurishly rigged animations I've seen, and I've seen a lot of bad sex scenes. There's too much focus on the half of the cast I don't care about, and there aren't enough characters I DO want to see more of, let enough enough focus on them.

Maybe, MAYBE play this if you want a sandbox where you can have almost literally everyone hook up. If you aren't basically blowing your load just from the concept, there's nothing here that's gonna do it for you.

Wide variety of characters with eye catching models and personalities. Solid cg and scenes for interesting interactions between characters. Multiple perspectives which haven't clashed so far. Story might be a bit cliche but does the trick. I think this is a solid game worth downloading and trying out.

Almost there but it's spoiled by a few things.

Really bloody annoying sounds which you can't turn off because the dev thought it was a good idea to remove the sound controls. I had to unren the damn thing and go through it to remove the silly noises and that bought up another issue that I spotted...

Silly comments from the dev if you enter something they don't like - "Liar liar, pants on fire" is a prime example. Is the dev twelve years old or something?

Step nonsense and anti-incest reminders throughout. Step-mom, step-dad, step-sister, step-brother, step-mother, comments about incest. For Pete's sake, give us a break. We don't need reminders every few minutes.

Some of the renders are ok, others are incredibly grainy and look like pre-release versions. The characters all look a bit strange and there are a quite a few missing images - someone didn't test properly...
There's a lot of re-use as well, shower scenes, for example, use the same renders, over and over. That's not necessarily a bad thing unless it's overdone - and it is. Give us some variety!

There's no story as such, just mc arrives and tries to stick his dick in anything that moves - pretty standard fare, except this one forces you to choose between them, constantly.

It's not terrible by any means, but it needs some work, I think.

I think this game is on the lower quality side of the spectrum for multiple reasons. First of all, the story is not terrible, but it is uninteresting. Both in the things that happen and how it's told it just is bland and generic. Choices may be meaningful as there seem to be a lot of paths but so far there's not enough content to make sense and usually branching out so much at the beginning leads to massive decision trees which are hard to implement. I do like the fact that some of the characters are adults behaving somewhat as such.

Character renders are decet but not great and animations are poor and there aren't too many so far. Sounds and music are absent and it is true I found no bugs on my playthrough.

So, all in all, not worth it in my opinion.

I really like this game. the premise is cool and the dialog is fun.
I like the fact that there are several paths and several LIs which means your choices matter and the story can go in different directions. The art is serviceable but could be better. I'd give it 4 stars and if the graphics improve I'll give it more.

It's alright. I like the perspective of the narrator. The renderings are good and i overall liked the experience. I also like the fact that it's not sex scenes right in your face after playing 5 minutes, the game somewhat takes it's time for a decent build-up

I mainly played this game because of the use of "Gay" Tag but this game has nothing remotely gay. There is one X scene with the brother in law and boss and that's it.
Other than that the games is decent

This is easily one of the most lazily written, and generically created VNs on F95zone. Originally, I had given this game a 3 for the potential it held... however, after a few incredibly lackluster updates, I reduced this to a one star for somehow becoming way worse. The Writing is super-lazy, the story is going nowhere, the characters are bland in their delivery, and the art and animation has somehow gotten worse.

Don't waste your time with this one.


0.01 - From the jump, a solid 6

Pros:
*The premise is really refreshing. I like that is a "step" fetish instead the usual incest. I also like that you control every character.
*The models for Jessica and Tasha are awesome. Even if the dudes look super-basic.
*The writing and dialog ain't half bad. The character interaction is actually pretty decent.
*The scenarios are pretty-fun, and I like all the flirting and teasing going back and forth.

Cons:
*Yikes. Emily's model is pretty terrible. It's not too late to change it. She looks like Chucky.
*That hot-tub scene... awkward.
*Lots of missing images, and errors.

Overall, pretty OK start. I wish you success.

• you can pursue who you want with each of the three protagonists (Bobby, Doug, Jessica) as there are multiple paths with other characters

• can set an age of the younger characters for yk who u r
• lacks option in Preference to toggle Hint
• no option to name saves yet there are multiple paths to take
• Stats page:
  • avatars too small to distinguish from each other
  • unsure what the emoticons mean

Not the best writing but may do its job during the H scenes. You can play this for its kinks. It has content for just a second release. Personally like the Tasha (ScarJo) and Kelly models.

Hot wife scenes with no bullshit (avoidable) and great story.

My Advisory:
Damn worth the Download

Had a good time with this 1st release. It's a fun, step-/family-oriented AVN with some fresh not so common elements (3rd-person perspective, mom bad, father good and alive and active). Maybe 15 minutes playtime so far, the renders and quality is good, however - as the dev stated on patreon - this version is still beta and not all the images have been rendered and added. Obviously not the devs first work I'd say. I'll support this game and recommend it for a tryout and follow.
