I think the best thing I can say about the game is that it doesn't feel like a cash-grab. I do genuinely believe this is made by someone who has a good idea, and wants to put it in a game... but isn't that good at making games.
As said below, there's an unskippable video at the start (with kinda loud music) that gives away nearly all the content. I don't know why.
There's some story there, I guess, but not exactly huge. You fall asleep and end up at the titular mansion. Avoid mostly-obvious traps and you'll eventually escape. Complete the extra character and your friend that you never encounter except in one game-over will escape too. Not a lot really happens. Or is explained. Or is fought with. It's basically just a haunted house where the big spooks only really come when you lose.
Movement is painfully slow and restrictive. I completely get what the developer was going for here - slow and restricted movement is a common horror trope to raise tension. However, said slowness quickly becomes grating. Part of that restriction also derives from unusual background presentations compared to the typical RPGM game, showing different angles to the static overhead-but-at-a-slight-angle most go with, but that fit awkwardly into the RPGM grid system.
Despite the speed, the game can be completed in 20m. My final save at the "free roam"/gallery bit at the end is almost dead on that, and I did a bunch of fucking around with the traps on that save. I may have spent more time writing this than playing the game.
The art is... well, it does vary a bit. On the whole, I do actually like the cruder art style, and find it works well with horror games. It does also improve a bit for the erotic bits... but not quite enough to actually be erotic. Most game-overs progress if you do them a couple of times, but the first few are typically only a silent looping sprite with only a few frames in it. Some of the more involved/repeated ones do get more detailed and get a bad-end CG, but the art style is still quite crude and not all that erotic. There's also little in the way of written description to make up for it. AFAIK no exposition-y bits exist before triggering the trap unless the trap is also part of the story and needs interacting with at least once, and you get little text description during the scene too.
Overall... I don't really think it's worth it. I don't want to tear into it like it's a cheap asset flip, but honestly it's not that erotic, scary, or fun to play. If you're really curious, just do a quick run through to unlock the free mode at the end (where movement speed is drastically increased) then go back and find the obvious traps.
I do hope this dev continues to make games though, because they do appear quite earnest in what they're trying to do. Just... they could maybe do with some art improvements. And better tools. And... like, a producer to point out bad ideas, like the opening "cinematic."
