another apple rooftop game which changes as they assimilate feedback
this one is considerably easier and shorter than their previous games, even having an ability to skip fights when you are high enough level

only thing is that the scene viewer is arguably worse than their previous games as you have to always go back to the character selection menu when you want to see a different one (previously you just selected one and then had a CHR+/- button that let you go through them

Have you ever thought "I am tired of turn based combat with some rare H-scenes during combat, I want to have a game fully dedicated on these H-scenes"? If yes, then you will love this game.

The turn based combat is constant teasing attacks over and over, and eventually when the horny meter fills up, there's H-scenes. Every enemy is animated and has great H-scenes. There's loads of enemies, there's legit equipment systems in the game where you buy heart charm upgrades for stronger horny attacks and buy a protective cloak for defense.

This game should have been a 5/5, but there's a few horrible gameplay flaws.

The most essential skills in the game are hidden in the levels in the most well hidden places possible, and if you think "hmm I think I have cleared everything, time for the first bossfight" well then you won't win ever. To beat the first dungeon you need to navigate the hole jumpin gpuzzle room and find the fucking enemy in the BOTTOM LEFT CORNER to acquire the fucking BLOCK skill, and then go back to the previous room and defeat that one dangerous enemy hiding the silver chest to acquire the POWER UP skill, and only then do you actually have a chance against the boss.
After you get rid of this bullshit in dungeon 1 the next ones become much more bearable in terms of difficulty.

Since we are talking about legit turn based combat with strategy involved, obviously SAVE OFTEN! Otherwise you might end up dying and losing 75% of the cash you have accumulated thus far on death.

And that is why the rating I place is 4/5. Game is fantastic but dungeon 1 is a goddamn nightmare.

If you've played Apple Rooftop's previous games, then Nikuyoku Fantasy will feel very familiar. Dungeon crawl through various dungeons using battle fuck to defeat a menagerie of sexy monster girls. While the exact mechanics differ from game to game, the basic premise remains the same. While the formula may be done to death, I think it's still a winning formula and Apple Rooftop's sprite work and character design generally improves with each new entry so I'm more than eager to keep coming back.

3 stars for rehashing the same game over and over again, 1/2 star for apparent art improvement.

If you've played the author's other games, it's essentially identical: a few levels with 3 unique enemies and a boss each, which get reskinned for later levels.

I was content with this formula until character designs got meh, but after dropping the previous 1-2 games for that reason, this one was somewhat refreshing.

If you like the art but don't feel the gameplay is worth it, the game lets cheat as much as you want to with the code (xp, money, abilities, levels, gallery).
