Synopsis
The mission is simple, you are in a highschool, your task?

A fairy tasks you with scoring pussy to ensure that your bloodline continues and to prove her that your seed is immaculate, you need to get at least one phone number from a girl by seducing them with your charm, trained in hundreds of alpha male guides, while getting wingwomaned by the fairy.
Gameplay
Ninisani scenario is a rather short Visual novel dating sim, that uses parody versions of vtubers, with a focus on comedy and romance that is rather classic in the sense that you are going through one common route in which you meet a bunch of girls and find yourself in interactions with and between them, in the process of your sigma grindset you can accumulate bondpoints with them to secure yourself your future gf to enter their route which is also normally rather short and get their epilogue.
Main protag
You as the protag of the game are allowed to self insert to the extent of putting your name in there and choose between different choices as how to talk or interact with the game, but you arent the usually shy, passive wimpy kid that radiates energy to be bullied like in your average vn, the protag in this is more forthcoming, blunt, can crack jokes and is a gymhead to the bone, which allows for more fun interactions and doesnt require the rest of the cast to maintain most conversations or interactions, it does feel fresh to read through and doesnt give you a blank slate like usual.
Now that we are done with foreplay.
Ill get to my experience and some criticism
The whole game from start to finish has a nice cast of characters whose personalities are fun to interact with, there were actually only few characters i didn't personally want to interact with and one i had 0 interest in, but the rest I still enjoyed.
Especially the humor in the vns by the dev have an amazing sense of comedy for me, usually i feel like loading my gun when i attempt to read a renpy vn on this site and blast my brain to shreds, while my brain tissue on the floor is still poisoned by 2010 meme culture and shitty references that make me regret living in the first place.
But here I unironically found myself laughing out loud multiple times and really enjoyed the banter between chars, and the protag or some of the scenarios i found myself in, especially with enna, nina and petra were also among my favorites.
The sprites also add to the humour since the dev went out of their way to get idk however many screenshots from the vtuber models to use them for a better expression range for the chars, or to use them cleverly in skits,
i applaud their effort since it def paid off and adds to the charm of the game.
As to how the relationships between the chars developed left a bit to be desired depending on the char, as in things move quick but you can attribute that to the game being short, but at least most of the time spent in the common route if you pursue a character and dont deny seeing them resulted in a fun interaction, the flow usually went, you meet them, hopefully get their number, get into a few scenarios with them, then you go out with them if you got their number once, usually sex scene, bam timeskip epilogue sex scene.
The thing bothering me the most here was the amount of time spent in the actual relationship, because while i understand that doing so would take more effort, imo the time spent in the relationship has the most potential to explore who you are dating and enjoy whatever dynamic the protag and heroine have, so i really wouldve liked more of that, especially given that i dont watch any of the vtubers here and am not planning to, and I ended up liking enna so much that I straight up have a new favorite type of archetype that i will personally look forward to, with the way she and the protagonist interacted together.
It always made me laugh and i really enjoyed the time I spent together with her in this visual novel, the way how blunt she was and the insults she used together with the protagonist, or how both of them try it to one up each other or how they fought, any interaction really was a blessing to me, especially how the relationship ended up when you look at the date you have with her after you've got her number and if you see what happens in the epilogue.
Also definitely had fun with other characters like Petra and Nina, but to keep things short and instead of rambling on forever about how much I like to spend time with them together, the point I'm trying to make is that I did I think that the developer really made a good job of making you enjoy spending time with the characters, but the actual amount of time you spent in the relationship is way too short for my comfort, and if the developer ever decides to return to making route based visual novels where you still end up picking whatever girl you like, then I hope he puts more focus into actually spending more time in the relationship zone instead of rushing pretty fast to reaching the end of the route
The dates themselves when you actually bear fruit to the efforts you've undertaken throughout your tough journey are also not entirely satisfactory, since sometimes you immediately jump to the sex scene, but if you are lucky you have some time of build up towards the scene, I personally don't really think that the sex scenes themselves were enticing all around for me, but I can say that reading through some of them was at least funny to me or I enjoyed them in the sense, that what was happening was pretty funny and I don't necessarily think that one has to write smut in a way that arouses the reader, depending on whatever your intention is, since one way to actually get away with not being able to write enticing smut, is to take the way of making either the scene itself into an interaction where both of the characters are just having a good or fun time, where both of their personalities also get to shine, instead of just trying to get as fast as possible through them having coitus with each other.
Making both characters display their personality/dynamic together most of the time works better for me as reader, to not make me snooze through the scene or to make me want to skip through it
Some of the scenes do work as how they progress, but some of them do feel pretty out of place as in how the scene developed to them having intercourse and doesn't make it any better if you get a character that immediately starts off with another sex scene after you finished the date scenario, and in the epilogue you kind of want to probably see more of how the relationship turned out or what the future holds, instead of just jumping into the next sex scene you're not arousing whoever's reading it probably after the last nut, and not really getting much at all out of showing them what the future looks like.
The important part here is to have a better pacing of the sex scenes, as in having proper build up, the proper scene and the proper time to do one.
The other point im going to make next also goes hand-in-hand with what ive talked about previously, that the visual novel wasn't really that long and in turn made for some detriments that in the end impacted some things, like for me personally it was about the amount of time spent in the relationship, but one of the things that I have seen other people complain about or have problems with, was actually getting some of the phone numbers from the girls.
I haven't had an issue with getting anyone's number besides selen, and that was because I always managed to fuck up one of the bond points to get and I don't think that bond points inherently are an issue, I think the issue lies more within the fact that you don't have as many chances to actually get Bond points to get a number, or give you more options to actually obtain the phone number that would at least circumvent having to restart to get the phone number you didn't end up with, unless the developer had the intention of you replaying the game as many times as it takes to actually get what you want, which is also fine, but I think just giving you more opportunities to actually get the number or to receive bond points in the scene where you are supposed to get the number would easily solve this problem.
The other only thing that I would nitpick about is the UI or rather the lack of UI, since you don't have the menu, load or save option down below, I don't think that it's that much of an issue, but having it there still would kind of help as a way to get the players immediately to the most important actions they take while playing the visual novel.
Besides glazing the developer for the jokes, interactions, humor, the sprite use, or the personalities that I personally liked a lot or fell in love with like enna, I can only say that I will be definitely looking forward to whatever the developer makes next and if you perhaps already saw it, they already made a sequel to this game which sadly goes the route of making it into a harem based game instead of a character route based game, which personally isnt my cup of tea, but nonetheless I will still enjoy whatever they write and hope that they attempt to pick up a route format vn sometime in the future again.
