NinNinDays 2 is more of the same, for people who enjoyed the first one. The level of quality stays the same, but novelty is gone, leaving a sequel (so to speak) directly tied to the original's events, where the change comes from story POV, and number of heroines. If at all possible, try reading both titles without too much downtime in between them, (in order to have the story fresh in your mind). Other than that, not much to report, it's a just a pleasant read, without any higher aspirations.
Positive:
- Sprites have animated physics (E-mote), for additional expression value; Heroines aren't great, but contrast with each other to some effect; Slice of life is still agreeable (lone guy/ 2 beauties/living together); Some emotional content, nearing the end.
Neutral:
- Original heroine - No idea why they kept her (or why they continued to work with the original scenario, i was hoping for something new), but she makes some appearances. There's no cucking your "past self" however (sadly?).
Negative:
- Voice acting is not bad, but the loli heroine goes too far with the "squeaky" factor; Rare instance where 2 heroines are not better than 1; The endings need work, and the final H-scene should be grounds for a refund, they were very lazy (not much of an argument considering where we are).
Score: 6/10 same as the original, and yet i can't be completely happy with what was done here, nor shake the feeling of only the bare minimum being delivered. If we assume (need more info) that the first one was a success, then the sequel is just continuing to "ride the wave". At any rate, it's more a question of principle, not so much about the end result. Recommended if you liked the first one.
(H-scenes have animations, and that's about it, don't bother)
