No good games anymore?

Yo bois. I have been visiting this website almost daily for the past 2 years. But is it me or do I find it really really hard to find even " decent " games since months? My target is hentai games with good graphics and nice visable sex.. but I'ts soooooo hard to find em man

I dunno, for hentai specifically there seems to be no lull in the stream of Japanese shovelware. 6 damn pages of completed games with the "japanese games" tag in the last 3 months alone. Maybe your tastes are too specific, I don't know what your favorites are.

Let's start with Sturgeon's law. Ninety percent of everything is crap.

When you start exploring a field, you have an advantage of enjoying cream of the crop from the past years or decades, ignoring all the crap that had accompanied it. When you exhaust the "classics", you start looking for new stuff, and that's when you start to notice that 90%+ of new stuff is crap.

You looking for real-porn games with 4k (or better) video clips?
Maybe you mean heavily modded/touched up Honey Select models?
Are you a "man of culture" who omly lkkes hand drawn 2d waifus?
Maybe Daz models are your jam?
And what of Koikatsu based gals?
Wanna cash in your chips on a lady from The Sims?
Actually... Is it even the ladies you're after?
Maybe you'd like a furfest or a big scary monster with a massive D?
Would you like a dating sim where you get to chose between a bunch of hot guys?
Want to play an innocent waif who just moved to a big city and suddenly every guy in town os trying to corrupt you?
Or maybe you's like to take the lead in a femdom power fantasy where tou get to walk all over everyone you encounter?
And those sex scenes with good visuals, are you talking decent animations? Interesting poses in still frames and slide shows?

If you're looking for suggestions for games that'll pique your interest you're gonna need to be a bit more specific on what floats your boat.

- The more you play games the more you requirements are high on graphics, animation and more
- If you go daily on this website for almost 2 YEARS, it's not really surprising to have done pretty much all we can find, especially because there is not a lot of good games coming out every day

I can suggest you look at the games you played like about 1.5 years ago, maybe you can find some interesting games that you forgot

- If you go daily on this website for almost 2 YEARS, it's not really surprising to have done pretty much all we can find, especially because there is not a lot of good games coming out every day

I can suggest you look at the games you played like about 1.5 years ago, maybe you can find some interesting games that you forgot

Good Graphics and Animations are overrated. Good Storytelling are the problem. 95% of the Games are the same shitty Story with to fast Progress for the Goal (Like Sex). Otherwise much Game's never finish or Canceled.

And 90% use almost the same MC and Woman's. Then you have a 25cm Dick in like 80% of the Games (which is annoying for some User because of the boring cliche and Story telling like: Hey i have the biggest Cock every Woman in this Game wants this Dick)

Then you have almost everytime horny Womans (like i said in the Beginning fast Progress because she is horny and want's your huge Dick as mention above. So you need only like 2 or 3 Events and you will bang her)

So no. Good animations/Graphics are the smallest problem on this platform nowadays.

More games where you don't have the biggest cock, you're not the most blatant guy, not every woman sleeps with you straight away and it's harder to convince them and you just build up a bit of a bond to the character etc.

That is what some user wants. (But that's only my Opinion)

Absolutely not what they said.

Graphics matter, but passable graphics are the least problem these days. You can always grab some Illusion "game" and generate renders with it like there's no tomorrow. So the entry barrier to decent 3DCG is very, very low. I mean, you have Harem Hotel in your sig. You know that. And your previous post listed all the wonderful software that automates CG production.

But there is no software that will generate a good story for you. Hell, looking at all the crap devs put out you'd think that spellcheckers haven't been invented. And there's no software that will slap dev's hand when they have a bright idea to add minigames to grind in their VN, because making just a VN is below their ego. As a result, there are too many games that have grind that takes away from what could've been a good visual novel. Consequently, the number of truly good visual novels is really low.

So there's definite shortage of games with actual good gameplay. There's a shortage of good writers among devs. There's some shortage of good 2D art, because it requires a bit more talent than 3DCG. But there is no shortage of people who've mastered DAZ or HS2, at least relatively speaking.

After having played maybe 80 or 90 VNs I find that the visuals are usually not the problem - if we ignore personal taste and whether or not big breasted milfs are attractive or not. But the writing is indeed often horrendous. You can tell that quite a few devs seem to have more affinity for the technical side of things. There are maybe ten or so VNs (that I played) where I think the story is actually well written and where it perfectly complements the romance aspect and where I never even once thought about speed pressing through yet another badly written scene about nothing.

Graphics are not nothing, animations are also somewhat important (but not always), but in my opinion story should always be the major focus. However, apparently quite a few people play VNs just for the steamy stuff and press CTRL or space bar to skim or even skip the "boring" story parts, so some devs may wonder why they should even bother with writing an interesting story. But then again, maybe the people wouldn't skip the story and dialogues if so many VNs didn't have forgettable stories or endless dialogues about nothing really.

If people just want the sex scenes... why bother with VNs to begin with? There are other sites with millions of videos that should satisfy virtually any preference you have. The "novel" part should get more attention. I have yet to find a VN where the animations could even remotely compete with the "real thing" on sites like p-hub.
