VN - Ren'Py - No More Money [v4.2.0 S4 Ep.2 GE] [RoyalCandy]

So there’s this 18+ visual novel I found — the title looks cool, the story sounds dope, and the girls? absolute W. So yeah, I downloaded it and gave it a try. The best part? It’s got romance and graphic violence — my favorite combo. Usually that means weapons, fights, blood, and still some love mixed in. And since it’s a VN, you get to choose the story yourself.


Sadly though… there’s no actual graphic violence . But! The story’s really good, the main character’s solid, and there’s even some taboo love (yup, incest stuff). So yeah, I still kept playing — totally recommend this game, 10/10 worth it.

Definitively a very good story. This novel was one who attracted me somewhere last year and got me curious in regard to AVN. Yes, I have seen from the quality point of view in regard to animation and characters already some better ones, therefore 4 stars, not five. But the storyline is just great to follow, not too heavy and you have to run definitively twice this novel, once with MC being with Darlene, once with Katrina. So enjoy watching and have both paths done

The first "season" was great and i would have happily given it 5 stars, but sadly goes down hill with each subsequent "season"

Chasing the "family" characters was great at first but it drags on way too long and the constant rejections get tedious, fighting hard over and over again for a tiny amount of intimacy with someone who says they love you back but none of them show any real interest in the MC when he is not constantly badgering them which gets very boring and by the time of the cabin tip i had totally lost interest in any of them, I also did a full love route on them and a full rejection and the text(outside of sex scenes) is 99% the same, which shows they really don't ever like the MC back no matter what(for example you would expect Charlotte to lean towards divorce in the love route but no its exactly the same).

The banter between the characters comes off very natural with a pretty even mix of insults and praise at the start but later almost every-time the MC tries it it goes way too far and someone gets hurt making even simple conversations painful to watch.

The characters are well written with each feeling unique and realistic, but the body type is pretty much the same across the board, to the point that the older women especially the "mom" and "aunt" look too perfect for there supposed age.

The transitions between pictures can get nauseating when the conversation switches back and forward a lot(dosen't come up often) and seriously not every picture need to be moving.

For once i really liked the MC at the start but he gets dumber and dumber the longer the game goes on, like buying an expensive vehicle just before he is going to quit his job, thinking with his dick during serious events, not coming clean about the accident to protect people, doing blackmail-able things in the enemies lair, then there is the main plot stupidness
It was clear from Sheila's story about how her sister went missing that she did so of her own free will

The art is really good and the sex scenes are too, although they are quite bland.

I love this game a lot its natural flow and character arcs, the humor and the plot is also good. The LIs are too gud especially Charlotte is my favorite , Tris too is gud. And Denise too is great. How the love blossom with the LI' s it feels like in IRL , it's love path is great among the best. The baddy is great in her arc, loved the chapters especially after S2. The Dev did a great job with the animations and writing. This is best for me.

I was borderline between three and four star rating, but the latest update upgraded this to a four star quality level for me. A very interesting game with some great qualities, but also some irritating weaknesses.

Let's start with the good things. The graphics are very nice and the female models well done. There is a good quantity of characters that are different from each other. The story has a lot of branches so there's plenty of replay value. Personally I tried almost ten different routes and am still missing some gallery images. The player choices also affect the dialog, which is a very nice detail.

Then the negatives. Personally I didn't connect at all with the main character. He has the most punchable face I've ever seen and is generally an unlikable spoiled arrogant brat. The writing of the game is also sometimes questionable even in porn game standards. The title of the game is 'No More Money', but that aspect is completely forgotten after the intro. The main character is working on his first ever part time job and supposedly making so much money that he can buy an expensive car, offer to pay everyone's life expenses and take them to the city's most expensive restaurants.

Let's hope that the writing improves. Chapter 4 has been promising in that sense.

This is a typical novel with a mother and a sister. Typical development of an attitude, typical events: massage, boutiques with clothes, etc., besides, the author goes into self-repetition. The graphics and characters are average.

I dropped it after that forced bs with Sheila. You don't have much choices in this game, at least not significant ones. As others mentioned, it's the same boring family drama, with endless teasing, and I cannot count how many times I've been in changing rooms in these games.
Overall just another MC with "lets save the world" complex with mind of a 15 year old teenager, nothing original.

It is a shame, because renders are really good looking, animations are weird but it didn't bother me much. I know it's hard to make these games, especially to everyone's liking but god some devs really need to stop forcing us do shit that doesn't make sense.

One of my recent favorites on this site. Nice slow burn with the (very hot) family members, with plenty of other sex on the side. And the two routes (based on who you work for) do a surprisingly solid job of differentiating from each other while still holding to the same general sequence of events.

Only cons for me:
-the camera panning is too slow, and while you can skip each frame, there are times something of importance is shown at the end of the frame.
-some LIs get a little bit lost in the shuffle. Emma, in particular, goes long stretches without even factoring in, despite the fact that her role as an (eventually) willing cuckquean means there's no reason not to loop her into things.
-the dad serves very little purpose other than showing up every now and then and being an ass. He's apparently also around all the time but oblivious to everything going on under his roof.

Those quibbles aside, this is a really solid AVN for family incest: hot models, hot sex, some choices/consequences, and a serviceable story about a non-college student with a magic dick. It doesn't try to reinvent the wheel or push the genre forward, but it does a great job within the lane it has chosen.

Gonna be a short one from me, this time. This is a SLOG to play. The buttons feel awful to click. Advancing lines and images is ridiculously slow. Transitions are never ending. When they pan over an image of a girl, you don't see the full image so the glacial pace at which they show it means you've read the dialogue before the image finishes panning. And you miss whatever they're showing. The UX feels bad in general. The Story is literally nothing. MC's dad goes bankrupt, suddenly his family becomes rednecks because...? Oh and there's yet another dumb Mafia subplot you can't escape because nobody can write stories anymore. I do not know how you make a renpy game run this poorly, but every aspect of it makes the engine run like crap somehow.

If you really rated this 5 stars, you have low standards and I'm jealous. But seriously this game is why the word "mid" is used.

The best AVN if you want a family focus, and still very good if you don't care about that much.

Pros:
1) The best AVN mom in history.
2) The best AVN younger sister in history.
3) Above average writing in general, and for the family it's very good.
4) The visuals are only slightly above average, but they are stylized to make up for it.
5) Very good LI selection beyond the family, too.
6) It actually has a plot, and it's not too bad - a rarity for a family AVN.
7) The two career paths really do have a significant impact on the game world.
8) The dev has made a great progress in skill since No More Secrets.

Cons:
1) The non-family LIs lack screentime, and when they do appear, it's very obviously to fill a quota of two scenes per season.
2) The MC can have a bad or a good relationship with his dad, but this mechanic is woefully underused.
3) The LIs are divided into small 'social groups', and LIs from different groups interact very rarely, even when it makes sense.
4) Later episodes can appear very short if not going for multiple LIs.

5 stars. So, play it right now if you're a family affairs fan, and even if you're not, the game is very worth checking out, it's still one of the better ones.

A really high production game. This game has potential.
The story is amazing, and the character designs are top tier. The dialogues and narration were also pretty good. The animations at the start were a bit mechanical and were not smooth, but in the later episodes, they were great. The lewd and teasing part in this game is really well done.
The music was also good, although I think now it's removed. I hope dev adds it back.
The story progression is somewhat slow, though. I am really looking forward to further updates.
I hope dev continues with this game; it is too good.
Overall a must-play game.

TLDR: 3.5 stars... but too little sex, too much blueballing makes it a 3.

Context: I played the club main route and that's the "dark" path where MC is more confident and dominant. I tried to pursue as many girls (7) as possible.

Positives:

• The girls have perfect bodies, really sexy! Beautiful faces too.
• Anal. But only 3 scenes total, two with the same girl.
• Dirty talk is well written and hot. Talking to the girls like proper sluts. This gets much better in seasons 3 and 4.
• MC is not an idiot (with a few exceptions). He's confident, charismatic, and competent. This is frustratingly rare in adult games! (This praise applies when playing on the nightclub route. I suspect the MC is worse when on the other route.)
• The mother and sis are especially hot.
• Emmas personality as a sub is really sexy.
• Deepthroat. Quite well done towards the end of the (current) content.
• The flirting with the mother and sis is hot, good dynamic between them. (But way too much blueballing.)
• Overall decent story (except extremely slow) with good dialogue and especially banter. And believable arguments and so on.
• Dominant sex with several girls (when on the club route).
• In season 4 there seems to finally be more sex scenes. On the club path these are hot and dirty.
• Several girls accept sharing MC with other girls. Nice.

Negatives:

• Little sex compared with the length of the game.
• The sex is soft, weak and looks strange. No deep, hard, fast penetration. It sometimes looks half-assed and almost funny.
• Animations are mostly bad, unsatisfying and slow. They look stilted, unnatural. Some even have artifacts, clipping. Slightly better in late game.
• Exclusive paths for a couple of girls, where you're required to choose one girl over the over. I would prefer the _option_ of pursuing all the girls in one playthrough.
• Constantly there are slow-moving panning close-ups. It's overdone, it's slow, it's annoying.
• Blueballing! A ridiculous amount, very frustrating.
• Story inconsistency and plot gaps. E.g. the girlfriend Emma is almost never seen or involved after she reconciled with the MC at the hospital. So her bf is injured, recovering for weeks at home but the gf never shows.
• No interactivity in sex scenes (with a couple of minor exceptions).
• Cumming scenes are unsatisfying, short. Sometimes you don't even see anything, not one render. Sex is just finished.
• MCs dick looks fake, like a dildo.
• Femdom. A couple of scenes of unavoidable femdom (on the club path).
• Short hair on many girls.
• Rollback doesn't work correctly because of the constant and long "cutscenes" (which are just the boring, slow panning closeups).
• Bugs: The only Renpy game that has ever crashed on my PC.
• MC is indeed sometimes an idiot. He pursues girls and when they want to fuck he repeatedly questions it, hesitates, etc.
• Unavoidable footjobs (on some girl's paths).
• Waaaayy too slow burn. It's literally over three SEASONS of content until you even get just a BJ from the mom or sis. That's 80% of the game without essentially any significant action with them.
• Breaking the fourth wall (several times), poor attempts at humor.
• The game teaser image and main menu background isn't from the game and isn't (yet) possible to achieve.

This is one of the best incest games out there. The LIs are as hot as they get while still looking realistic, they are varied too to suit all tastes, and the story is good enough. By S4 the game doesn't take itself too seriously, which is probably for the best.

Usually by the time we can get in bed with mom one would expect the game to end, but here the developer keeps the pace slow and since there are like 6 LIs to keep you entertained without getting the MC's dick (too) overwhelmed the story can still develop further. Sis tends to provide the craziest scenes as is usually the case.

The only con worth mentioning and the thing that prevents this from getting the max score for me is the animation department, with poses that are awkward or unnatural. I mean, lewd scenes are still sexy because of the angle, the character involved or the situation, but a significant amount of animations come out as "mechanical" despite the very generous number of frames involved, which kinda defeats the purpose. Things like a LI on all fours in bed sucking the MC standing in front of her and making you feel bad for her neck. I'd easily trade less animations for more realistic results. Besides, it's not like we need to see the MC fucking 3 different girls in a day like he's making the most of his last day alive or trying to beat a record. yet by S4 this is getting silly.

Story is engaging and well paced. Dialogs are witty and relatable.
Models are very well done, especially the expressions. They look unique and goes well with the dialog. Can't get enough of Tris's pouty face!

No More Money has some great models. The girls are (with the exception of Emma) very very pleasant to look at. So if you're after a game to skip through the dialogue and just look at the pretty pictures, give this one a go. You won't be disappointed.

Now let's review the dialogue.

Boner. I'm getting a boner. I have a boner. I can't believe I got a boner. I can't believe I'm getting another boner. What if he gets a boner? He's getting a boner. What if I get a boner? Don't get a boner. Why do you get boners? Tell me about your boner. I am curious about boners in general. Did me asking about boners give you a boner? Boner boner boner, boner boner, boner - boner - boner boner (boner).





Boner.

Honestly, I am can see that the models are quite pretty, although we have seen the same "people" on plenty of games before and since. So, the fact that more than a few animations and stills have some obvious clipping is disappointing. Clothes, hands, boobs all entering each other during dialogue and sex scenes. The absolute lack of any sound past the main menu is also very telling.

The story is what I heard was good but that is legit the worst part, and I don't even mean the part where every woman is throwing herself at him for his big cock and saying that they don't care if he bangs other women. Nor the fact that the writer legit just throws transphobic and homophobic jokes in out of nowhere, although it foreshadows the dev's willingness to punch down and throw heavy subjects without much care. The main conflict is where the story starts to delve into heavy stuff and through it all I could hardly see it as decent. It's not realistic, relatable nor necessary, just added for what seems like an attachment to old tropes and trying to add depth via melodrama.

To resume it, regardless of your choices Frankly, it comes out of nowhere, it's unnecessary and it drags on for melodrama like a soap opera.

Maybe it says more about my real life path but it's very easy to see how formulaic and what a farce it all is. The main defining point is that the protagonist decides to tell no one rather than solve it, so his family is put at danger. Candidly, to play through it is a chore and it's thinly veiled window dressing to a situation added for superfluous tension, padding out between scenes where the characters all quip at each other into having sex.

Decent 3 star visual novel game. The dialogue can get tiresome,
since a lot of the time it's the characters talking about random
nothingness to fill conversation boxes. Same models are often
used repeatedly, but with different wigs put on.

The main character looks like Butthead from Beavis
and Butthead, you can really see this when he smiles
and it shows the braces and he looks like Butthead,
the MC is weird looking, he looks like he fell down and hit
every branch on the ugly tree.

Choosing between the two jobs, if you choose to work
at the club very little happens action wise and it's more of a snooze
fest, compared to the other job where you are hounded
by the woman at the club for refusing her and getting
attacked by club security guard multiple times.

Season 3 has been over an hour of dialogue of the MC laying in a
hospital bed, it was extremely boring. If you found the dialogue
tiresome before, then you haven't seen nothing yet, season
3 they go on and on and on and on.

The developer is RoyalCandy, they often abandon their games and
rarely finish them, so if you get invested in the game and end
up liking it, keep that in mind.

Great game, I think I would give the actual story about 3 stars because to be honest its not that interesting but the characters are good and decently written, the Mom is great and Tris is pretty hit or miss for me personally but overall good, the Aunt is fantastic as well.

Where this game really shines is the animations, the early ones in the beginning chapters are a bit rough but later in the game, around chapter 2, they become fantastic and 10/10. Definitely a great game and its a shame it seems like the dev will be leaving for a long time, definitely worth the play.
