No Ren'Py Games Load

Hi all,

I used to be fine with all Ren'Py games, but unfortunately I had to reinstall Windows 7 recently and after the reformat, I've downloaded several games that used to work fine and now they just won't load.

They show up in task manager processes, but nothing pops up. Am I missing something on my computer that makes the games run? I'm so lost!

I've tried running as Admin, compatibility mode with Windows XP, etc. These are all games that worked in the past, which is why I feel I must be missing something?

Any help appreciated! Here's a log that I got if that helps~ (It says XP cause this was the log from after using compatibility mode)

Classic, after an hour of searching I gave up and made this post, only to find the answer moments later.

In case it happens to anyone, try this - if you have graphic cards or sound managers open (in my case, Nvidia GeForce and Sonic Studio), close them and try again - now they open fine! Wonder why they block them from loading... anyway, all good!
