no tags rework happens in f95 :/

this thread called "new tag discussion" (https://f95zone.to/threads/new-tag-discussion.168425/) is just a facade to give us f95zoners false hope. it's been ages since any new tag got added to the database, and don't even get me started on the most requested ones like netori & netorase. what's the point of that thread if nothing ever comes out of it? might as well just abandon it too like the abandoned games. at least, give us the time period when they'll be added :/

no it is not. that thread has been around a long time on this forum and the thread is a good reference point for others to go to if they have a new tag suggestion to make.

that thread follows the bread and circuses philosophy. it's just there to make people feel involved while nothing actually happens. suggestions pile up, but in the end it's all just words. nothing ever changes

even though you may feel the thread is not relevant to you, the thread is relevant to this forum and others on here, also take heed and observe the category of where the thread is currently located in as well. the thread is within the forum section Site Rules, News & Announcements. the current location where this thread is located in is already more than enough reason as to why the thread has a very significant purpose on here.

But actually. The people asking for their desired tag remind me of kids asking for a puppy.
With the main difference that kids at least pretend that they are gonna walk the dog twice a day themselves.

Let's make it interesting, shall we. Create a recomendation thread for what you like with a definitive list of matches, update and support it for a couple of years. And after that - maybe - we can talk about the tag. Because shit tastes better when it's earned. And also there will be a list of titles to tag.
(This is not applicable to sorts of ntr, because I think they already have a list, but you get the idea)

Otherwise, let the staff cook in peace.
I still don't know how they are gonna support doubling the tag mass without doubling the number of mods, or allowing some kind of public vote. And probably neither do they.

"As many of you may know, we are working on a major revision to the site, this includes a revamp of the tag system (to be released soon™)."

It have never been said that the thread if about tags addition.

If you think that rewriting the whole forum take too much time don't hesitate to start a fund raising campaign, then donate the millions you'll get to F95. He'll use them to pay Sam, who's the only one working on the rewriting, in order for him to works full time on this.

But the fun part is, it doesn't even matter. Because eather way it's not gonna be fast nor easy, and the point is unaffected.
And I just don't see what a 100th thread is supposed to achieve. This topic definetely deserves a place among those.
