has there been a fix for this yet? I'm on an intel integrated graphics card and game doesn't launch.

Hmm I'm not really sure how to fix this, it seems like an engine problem. (Ironically, I developed almost the entire game on my own integrated intel CPU). It may also be an anti-virus problem.
I tried fiddling with some settings to enable better compatibility for old hardware, do you mind giving this a try?

Thanks a lot. Launch is working. You're right, its probably due to old hardware. The Laptop I'm using is like 8 years old.

Next update is being worked on! It has been taking longer due to some real life stuff, but it's slowly getting there!

I'll put it like this: If it takes more than 4 more weeks, I will be very disappointed. My goal is to have it ready in a decent amount less time than that. If life gives me a bit of luck over the next few days, I'll be in a situation where I can put a lot more time into the game on a more regular basis. (Hopefully I don't have "no trace of luck" in real life

Here is the 'compatibility mode' version for those with older PCs that can't run the main version. This version is only minimally tested and may have bugs (if you experience bugs, let me know and I can try to fix them):

Soo, I cannot start new update. My last save (after beach date with Lisa) seems to be blocked - after I drive her home, there is no new items on my phone and progression is basically dead. Am I forced to start a new game?
Same problem here. I tried to replay some events and messages, hoping it will somehow fix itself but nope, still stuck.

Yeah the game doesn't give a tutorial on how to play 5 card draw poker, which is understandable as that would take a lot of time.
If you don't know how to play it, you're gonna have a hard time beating the LIs.

lol i beat it after some time but now it is texas hold em thing with tessa and its so heavily weighted in her advantage its not even fun.. talk about stalling the game for no reason lmao..

i found all of the games quite easy, the 1st bit of a challenge was actually Ash imo.

Hmm is there any way one of you can upload your save? (There is a button in the settings page to open the save file location)
Here's a save that it set up at the newest update (immediately after the Lisa beach scene)
To apply it, click this:
And paste it in there. It will replace save 2, you can rename it if you want it to replace a different save.
Here you go. One is my manual save during the date, other is the autosave immediately afterwards.

Oh I know what happened here... Yeah, this is my fault because I have created a very bad system here.
So I think probably what happened is you replayed a scene from the scene selector
This can create broken saves. I really need to either make this button create 'real' saves, or make it impossible to save while using this button.
But, rest assured, you can use the save file that I uploaded in my previous comment and it will put you in exactly the same spot you were at, and it won't overwrite your wallpapers or anything (that is all stored in persistent.dat in the save folder)
I will make sure this is fixed in the next update!

Yes I actually agree, the Tessa poker is really frustrating. I don't really think Texas Hold 'Em is very fun in a 1v1 setting, which is why I have not used it since then. I plan to most likely remove Texas Hold 'Em poker from the game within the next 2 updates. I will be introducing the Amy character more fully, and at that point I am reworking much of that casino scene.
For now, you can cheese it pretty easily by spamming the 'raise' button. You will lose a few times but eventually you'll get lucky and win with minimal effort.
