maybe a bit of a weird request. I wonder if you guys have recommendations that are not dull or dumb. What I mean by that is not (just) the mechanic being hard or making you think, but also the story or the general gameplay. Something that gets you thinking.
I don't mean super challenging, but more that it shouldn't be the the 100th game with the same old story. Also not just by length of text. If there is huge walls of text, but the characters are flat or very cliche I am also not a fan.
In other words: Do you have games that surprised you in a positive way, got you thinking, gave you an "a-ha", gave you different views, challenged your mind?
Basically I mean just something that tickles your mind, but not ONLY because it's an RTS, management, puzzle, etc. game.
Preferably non-furry.
Sorry, if I don't give examples, but don't wanna rule anything out. If you have a game that comes to mind, don't think twice, just drop it here.
