Ren'Py - Not a Succubus [Demo] [Spicy Pumpkin]

Of course, this review is a bit early (demo 2026-01-03 ). That being said...
I love game parodies, especially those that copy the gameplay of the original in some way.
The art and animation are decent, and I really like how they adapted the original story to fit the genre.
I'm looking forward to seeing how the finished game turns out.

From the little there is this game just seems so interesting and also its a parody from another amazing new game, the animations thus far are also pretty great, looking forward to next releases, good luck!

Really enjoyed the demo! I think this game has big potential, and since its in the hands of Spicy Pumpkin it will be a blast when it fully releases.

Ps- I love how the clown girl became an image that appears in every game

I really liked the game! It's one of the best games I've played in recent times! I loved the scenes and the sound effects, which were top-notch. I'm looking forward to the sequel, so I'll give it 5 stars :3

Promising twist on the No, I'm not a Human game,
The demo is interesting and -as far as I remember- the first porn game in that style.
A full game like this might just be a very nice experience!

Of course, as an early build, there are things to iron out to make it a better experience IMHO:
-Navigation around the house needs a overhaul.
-Rooms could always have their label visible on the door so the user can get used to the layout (idea: you can grey-out the room name when this room is not interactive/empty)
-This is more minor but all the posters and artworks disseminated around the house are a bit distracting as their art-style sort of clashes with this demo's visual identity.

Will follow with interest how this excellent demo develops.

This is really well-made porn-remake, quite short though, original characters are redrawn in a most sexualised way possible, though if you remember who were a guest in the original, the gameplay itself will be quite trivial. +1 star for replacing the bald hermit, with original and fun character. Sex-scenes are short, but good. sadly since it's a demo only 1 hour of one-handed gameplay for now. *save to watched threads*

This demo is really nice and leaves a very positive first impression. From the start, it shows a lot of potential and makes me excited to see a full version of the game in the future. good concept hot babes. let the girls in and determine if they are succubi or not. still a demo for now and dev has another game being prioritized. Please come back to this its a good project with potential.

Tl;Dr: It's peak... But not done.

First to note, if you like the concept of the game and want something that feels like a gutpunch, play the original game that it's a parody of, No I'm Not Human. I liked that game a lot, even though it makes you feel pretty miserable by the end. It's one of those games. This game is pretty loyal to the functionality of that game, but it loses the point and emotions of the original in favor of smut.

That's fine, of course, because the porn is pretty good and the concept is hot. The game also keeps that same engaging gameplay loop, where you must "investigate" the people you invite into your house to see if they're really human. Good thing you're only letting super hot babes in.

I trust that this dev will finish the game, and when that happens I'll come back and probably give this the 5 stars. Right now you can finish everything in about 20 to 30 minutes if you know what you're doing. Here's what you need to do if you want everything (Game spoilers, probably don't do on fresh run):

English isn't my native language. I think for a demo, it's an incredible 4.5/5. Good dialogue, good animations, maybe Chad is a bit overused in these games, but I don't think it'll last long. Similar to I'm Not a Furry. I'm not giving it a 5/5 because it's too similar to the original game. I hope there are more updates soon because it has excellent potential.

I'm not one to say "it has potential" in a review so I am leaving this based off of the current version of the game (DEMO).

Not much content yet, it'll give you at most an hour of gameplay if you are planning on doing multiple palythroughs to see everything. What is here though, is a pretty one to one replication of No, I'm not a human with obviously a smutty spin on it. If that sounds interesting to you, give it a try, it is pretty fun.

Only two caveats I've got is that the navigation within the house is pretty confusing at times. In an effort to replicate the original game as closely as posssible within renpy, navigation has become a bit hard to do. I found myself consistently clicking the wrong doors/windows etc. I wonder if it's better to sacrifice authenticity a little bit to make a more streamlined and renpy standard navigation system, though I guess that is the developer's call, and it's not the biggest deal if they decide to keep it as it is.

The other caveat is a lack of gallery, certainly it'll be added in future builds so not a big issue, but it isn't in the demo if you were wondering. That said, still 5 stars because these two issues really arent big enough to deduct a star in my opinion, the game does a great job at mimicking No I'm Not a Human while incorporating porn into it pretty seamlessly imho.

As stated previously by other users, first actual good parody of another game in the website. Also has great art, and sexy stereotypes. What more could you want? Expecting to see this project grow into a really good game.

It's probably first ever good porn-parody of "a popular thingy that came out just recently", you know the type. It not only does a good job at mimicking the original, but also delivers a top-tier content. Waiting impatiently for full release!

Notice: I intend to make a proper, full review once the game fully releases. This is just a demo impression and does not represent final thoughts.

Introductions:
Not a Succubus is the 4th project from the developer Spicy Pumpkin who is generally known for making light-hearted horror games with plenty of porn in it. As the title suggests, this game will be a porn parody of the original game No, I'm not a Human which was a fairly popular horror title released in 2025. If you have played the original, you will have a good idea of what to expect from this game.

Impressions:
As it is only a demo, there is no complete picture of the game just yet but more than likely it will play out the same or somewhat similar to the game it is based on. As of right now the game only progresses 3 days with a total of 8 characters to interact with as of right now, 5 of which you can choose to let in to your home and 3 that are unique encounters with one of course being the pale visitor equivalent to this game. Not too much depth as of yet but there is at least one scene per character and 2 clues to guess who is a succubus or not. It's been mentioned that the chance for people to be a succubus will be random like the main game which will hopefully make the game more replayable in the future as more characters are added to the game. I believe the main game has something like 60-70 characters which seems a lot so my expectations are more around 30, maybe 40 if we are lucky since there needs to be a variety of scenes for each character unlike the original game that just has the base art with varying expressions.

Lore wise there is not much to go on just yet since pieces of lore given to you over the course of the game in small amounts through news broadcasts, radio channels and occasionally small talk with characters. I'm curious to see how the day/night cycle will translate into this world how they effect Succubus. Also interested to see how relationships progress with people you let in and if you can choose to keep Succubus around despite knowing their true nature or if they can even be reasoned with. Do the people who become Succubus even know they are one? Lots of interesting thing to think about.

I've played all of Spicy Pumpkins games and gameplay itself has usually not being a strong point for me with the FNAF/surface level temptations usually being a low priority compared to the sex and story which is fair but in my opinion the best porn games have good gameplay alongside the actual porn, sometimes blending both together in a rewarding way. With Not a Succubus, the gameplay feels very promising and I am actually interested in seeing how it develops later into the game and if the game itself will be actually difficult and engaging which I really hope it is.

Conclusion:
Overall I am very excited for how this game will shape and progress with it hopefully becoming a perfect blend of engaging gameplay, light horror and erotic scenes with interesting characters and may easily become everyone's favourite game from this developer. One thing to note as well is that their third project, Succubus Pandemic is not yet finished so I do wonder if that will be abandoned in favour of this project or worked on together.

The game is promising. The visuals and audio are top-notch, and I can't wait for the full release!
I had some concerns about the quality at first, but they quickly disappeared. It's a truly solid demo, and if the author continues in the same vein (or even better), this game will become one of the best on the forum.

Spicy Pumpkin knows how to make games fun. Every one of his games is excellent. This one is my favorite so far, though. Be careful, sometimes temptation is too much! Good animation, good art, good gameplay. I'll be excited to see the full release. Head over to Patreon and support him!

Now, jokes aside, the art is quite good and the premise plays well into the porn itself(Weirdly enough).

Game shows promise, I just hope the developer manages to introduce randomness in encounters so the game gets replayability.

Once again, Spicy Pumpkin strikes back with a banger with a art style and a theme that a certain niche of players will find god tier. 5 outa 5, 'naugh said. The gameplay is pretty basic, wich is a good thing, and even if most scenes you have to lose to get them. the saving is very friendly so it's not a pain at all to die and retry.
