VN - Ren'Py - Not Georgia [v0.5] [Shinita]

Don't tend to leave comments, but felt this games needs more visibility as it has a lot of potential. Very much enjoyed what is out and the models. Love the little animations that most the characters have only wish there was a minor indicator that it is happening. Hope to see more.

I played only a small portion of v0.5 before I gave up. I couldn't stomach the MC or the story.

PROS:
The game is alright. The animations here are impressive, amazing if no AI was used. Individual character stories seemed interesting, I wanted to get to know them better, but that's about it as far as pros. I wish I was able to push myself to go further, at least to understand the title of the game, but I just couldn't.


My biggest problem with this game is that nothing feels organic. It all feels forced for convenience in a way that just feels incredibly off. With Porn Logic, you know what you're getting; hot MILFs who like you because you're young, Stepsisters stick in washing machines, and the whole school liking you just because you're cute. But here, the vibes feel deeper, like the game should be more engaging and it's not.

These may seem like nitpicks, but all the cons above have pulled me out of the experience like braking on the highway. And as small as they might be to you, for me, and I'm sure others, they eventually clumped together and snowballed. I just couldn't immerse myself in any part of this game.

The writing here is the weakest part of the game. I was going to give this 3, assuming those animations aren't AI, but it doesn't matter either way. When I think about the MC and the writing, no way. If you haven't played it, try for yourself or read all the other 5-Star reviews. But this was a BIG no from someone who cares about Story, Characters, and Player choice.

Wow. Spectacular graphics and impressive animations. I can't wait for more. The models are fresh faced and distinctive enough from each other. The action isn't overly delayed in the story. Very little game play involved but given how good the rest of the visual novel is I can't fault it on that.

i enjoy this one, got a nice cast of girls and there is some drama going on but nothing too over the top- visuals are good, story so far is fine, fair amount of lewd content.

imo the girls get attached to you a bit too fast but its not too bad.
i really enjoyed being able to name everyone i come across. so much fun to meet a guy and you forgot you named him Assface.

Great story with beautiful LIs and wow Georgia is not you typical LI but is so easy to get into her.

Story is linear with no great plot twists but that just makes it a fun easy to play VN .

Fab character design with realistic faces and bodies -no 44DD breats on everyone !!

Decent writen interchange betweeen the MC and LIs nothing too over the top .

The Dilema is do i bang as many LIs as i can or do I wait for Georgia to return ? She did give me free pass so to speak but ill wait till choices are made available in future updates.

Version 4a: Are you craving a game that has women with various sizes of breasts, including small breasts that don't look Loli? Then this is the game for you.

The plot is straightforward slice of life. You play because its absolutely faptastic.

The developer doesn't take money, so shower him with love for providing this gem to us.

I think the game is very good! it has great models, a decent-enough plot, some interesting characters, etc.

The biggest problem is that everyone's interest in the MC is unbelievable, but it's a porn game so I don't mind. I think it improves the pacing a lot.

I like the dialogue and characters. Definitely appreciate the chest size.

It does take a bit for sex to happen, but there's a good chunk of teasing and nudity before that so I don't mind.

Loved it, can't wait for more and to see where the story goes. A lot has been setup and I'm eager to see the payoff of all the different interactions. Writing is good, only a handful of spelling errors, nothing major. Renders are absolutely fantastic. Seriously, every girl is beautiful with enough variety of body types too for balance.

Anyway, the story isn’t ‘happily ever after’ just yet and the potential possibilities for love and lust are very exciting. Most of the women are very sexy (even though most of them are too hairy) but many of the renders are too noisy/grainy, especially the earliest ones. I love that the dev likes to show nudity as often as possible (he may have a touch of ADHD, just like me lol, or maybe he’s just ‘passionate’ like most other guys) and keeps the game from getting bogged down or boring in any way. There’s not much sex so far and it might not get heavy for a little while, but I strongly expect that it eventually will. Last but not least, Georgia is a lovable, sexy, naughty and kinky little woman that promises lots of mischievous fun and adventure.

TLDR, what’s not to love about this game so far? 5 stars out of 5 but I expect the next episode is going to be pivotal in regards to how the game will turn out. So much potential but an equally dangerous minefield for the dev to navigate and mid-game seems to be where success is determined in many games. Great work so far and good luck going forward dev…we are definitely rooting for you and appreciate the huge time, effort and passion you’ve put into this game so far!

After playing Not Georgia (v0.4), I wanted to share some thoughts based on my personal preferences and how the developer has approached the game’s design.

The game has a solid story and doesn’t seem to rely on the frustrating “pick the exact 36 right choices” approach to ensure good progress, which I appreciate.

A personal suggestion: I enjoy character development with a stronger focus on romance.

I really liked Ríona (the pregnant girl)—this kind of character is something I always look for in games, and I even support some developers on Patreon for similar content.

I’d love to see this level of development with the other girls (especially Georgia) and for it to be driven by the MC. I didn’t notice a Harem tag, so I’m not sure if the game will explore that route, but it could be something to consider.

Regarding pregnancy and everything it entails, I enjoy having control over when it happens, as well as in-depth character interactions around the topic. The progression from “Don’t cum inside” to “I want to have your babies, cum inside me” can add depth to relationships. If you include pregnancy tests, please make them a dynamic part of the game rather than just an endgame event.

The renders and environments are well done.

This game hits all the right spots for me.

• Lithe and petite LIs who look like actual (young) adults.
• An MC who's emotionally intelligent, and not a blubbering pile of horniness.
• Leans more into being porn-focussed with all LI liking the MC immediately, but the surrounding story manages to make it work.
• The lewds are hot, and very varied. It escapes the typical HJ/BJ/intercourse escalation.
• Great attention to detail. One of the few games I've played that shows a wet spot. (Riona on the sofa)
• Gorgeous renders.

If you find petite women more attractive than balloon-titted bimbos, this is the AVN to play.

Renders are 5/5, refreshing to see characters who don't have huge tits and also aren't uncomfortable.

Story is ok, as the author said it's very fast. But it's not stupid.

Isn't a ton of content yet, but certainly enough to get the idea.

PROS:

1. The models are nice looking, maybe a tad young in the look but the dev did note this, still not bad.
2. Characters are not bad either, they have distinct personalities so most are relatively interesting.
3. Writing is solid and reads well, no issues there.
4. Pacing is decent, you get some eye candy early on also.
5. Sounds are pretty good, music is nice, though i'd check that as you could get trouble for using that music without license. Sex sounds are also nice, they not many, but they there and fit nicely.

CONS:

1. Renders are grainy and not very good or clear, its not too big a deal, but its not great quality. The game look feels old, like the first VNs I played way back.
2. While characters are not bad, it is strange that all woman have no issue going around topless or naked like the best friend. While the dev does mention this, its still a bit "weird", find in terms of lewd and action for the player, just a bit weird that the characters are so blasé about it.
3. Animations are non-existent, which is disappointing considering this game is fairly decent and could do with them.
4. Sexual scenes are often short and there is more content about the tease and lead up to any sex and then at the sex parts its kinda short and a let down. The only semi decent scene is the last one with the friend.

FINAL THOUGHTS & SUGGESTIONS:

• Biggest grip I have about this game is the long development time, for the quality and for the progress in the story. While life happens and we all fall prey to time and money constraints etc, this is something that concerns me. I have all but forgotten this game until I noticed I played it way back then. While I am grateful for the ongoing development, its just sad that there is not really much content especially when the developer is a kinky bastard and I like this game for it and the way the did it.
• Would love to see more of this game, more content and more frequent updates and eventually a solid decent conclusion to it. Keep it up.

This game has overwhelmingly positive reviews but I think they are all propped up by strong renders and good li choices (at least most of them)

If you're actually being critical there's a lot of downsides to this game.

Firstly MC is pathetic,the game gives you choices but then the mc is too afraid to follow through and the writing just chastises you lazily. He also looks like a mormon missionary. Non-choices are such an awful mechanic.


Majority of content is in dream scenes and imagination scenes that everyone hates and you have absolutely no choice over, somehow you can see everyone naked in every situation

The UI is pretty basic and there should be nothing to complain about, except that it constantly has audio popups like it's trying to be an advertiser.

The writing isnt terrible, there's some thought into explaining hwy characters behave certain ways, but there's no real build up or tension to make it interesting. Also it feels like every 3rd line is to choose yet another name, hundreds of them.

The worst part overall is that absolutely every girl is empty headed and throws themselves at mc the moment they meet.

Pretty typical harem game. Like the different scenarios and looking forward to more content. The girls are all great and I especially love the love triangle with Georgia and her friend, really hope that story gets more playtime when/if an update ever comes.

0.4 Edit: Was very excited for this update and was not disappointed. Lots of content and lots of girls. I also appreciate the mechanic of being sent pictures by girls. Gives us opportunities for renders of girls who don't get much face time in an update. I will be watching religiously for the next update.

It's a good game which seems to struggle with the usual tropes one would expect to hit when playing a game.

The visuals are pleasing to look at, all the characters are done well but really the game's... what? version 0.3 and already the cast list is just too damn high. And it'll only get worse. I appreciate this is a common issue in games but the increasing cast will act like a cancer on this game. Don't get me wrong, there are those who like this style of game. Bury the player in characters and hope to please everyone by offering them something they like. But really, you can do more with less, expanding on a small character base will give a game long term viability much better than a game of 100 characters who you struggle to remember once their scene is over.

The plot's ok if a bit disjointed in places. The MC suffers from magical dick syndrome where everyone wants a piece but that's so common in these games it feels a bit rough to draw attention to it. Everyone seems willing to share nude pics with the MC, even if they've just met him and don't get me wrong, the pics in the game are very nice, but it's kinda jarring to see them immediately. I appreciate you need to leave common sense at the door for games but it's weird at times.

As mentioned, photography seems to be an interesting element in this game. A big point is made giving everyone you meet a social media account and there's a great deal of photo sharing between you and whoever you meet. The titular character even dabbles in photography but.... it feels like a sideshow. The MC is a Dev by trade so that's what he does, but why not make him a budding photographer as that would better align with the mechanics the game has introduced?

All in all it's a nice game but for a game with one of girls named in the title, the focus sure seems to be on a whole list of other characters

I have read novels with a very good and developed plot that later either become boring or have disappointed me, then there are others that, without a very complex story, brighten your day and you don't get tired of advancing in the plot, this is one of them . I like the characters and how each of them, in a very intelligent and orderly way, accompany the protagonist towards possible relationships or not. And Georgia, her sweet and faithful friend, stands out. My congratulations to the developer.

A light and fluffy porn game with (so far) very little actual sex. (Reviewed version 0.3)

The most important thing to know about this game is that every female character, within five minutes of meeting the MC, will either strip in front of him, text him her nudes, or both. There's no attempt to make this believable or even plot-relevant, it's just how the game works.

The second most important thing is that so far there's very little actual sex. A couple of hand jobs here and there, and a lot of girls posing in various stages of undress, but beyond that it's one of those games that leaves you suspecting the creator hasn't worked out how to pose sex scenes yet.

If you like to fool yourself into thinking that porn games have believable plots, avoid this one because it doesn't offer any excuses. If you want a branching narrative and consequential decisions to make, also avoid it. If you just want to click through inconsequential dialogue and perv on pretty CG girls, I recommend it.

Pretty generic harem-esq visual novel. Bunch of girls want the beta MC, stereotypical women, each with their own thing. What sets this apart from every other vn though is that for some reason, all the women are fucking nuts. They're either all whores flashing their tits, asses, and showing nudes to their landlords, masturbating in public places, getting undressed infront of other people or they're absolutely psychotic. Bitchy, hostile, or just annoying to listen to. They also look samey except for the hair styles. They're all the same height, they all have the same boob size and they all wear the same types of clothes. Also, there are definitely NTR vibes going on here because Georgia, the main forced love interest shows her nudes to her landlord and you don't get any type of option or choice in the matter. I'm not interested in getting with these turbo whore girls who are going to show their nudes to other dudes while they are with me so this game immediately falls flat. Overall, a pretty underwhelming and problem filled game, it only gets two stars because there are definitely worse games on here in this style, but this one is still pretty bad.
