VN - Ren'Py - Not Too Refined [Ep.3] [AulaNTR]

was not a good experience. the pick of the font was the first downer, got an error my the naming but ignored it, anyway to keep it short: when i start to skip a vn right at the start its he worst sign and when i kick a game from my disk before the 6th choice - usually the first sex-scene as breaking point, a game just sucks, thats here the case.

Nice wife corruption AVN that does not take itself too seriously .I like the fact that the FMC looks like a normal (but hot) person and not like a plastic doll. the story is not that original but the rhythm of it is good.

I tried the game after waiting a few updates, but unfortunately the renderings have never improved, they are still in an initial rough state, if not worse. The audio can always be improved, options are present, but it's too easy to bring FMC to the usual corruption degradation, if we want to have porn scenes, we have to denigrate FMC as a traitorous whore. So, nothing new in this aspect of NTR.

Not really feeling this one. The writing is pretty rough and the renders/posing could use a lot of work. I've definitely seen worse, but this is below par.

The biggest issue I have is the writing style. It's so drab and surface level. There is no depth or subtext, it's just extremely mechanical writing. Combined with the choice system that interrupts the already stale writing every other sentence... it becomes a chore to play through this.

She lets him lead her to the dance floor. He gets closer.

*Let fuckboi get closer?* [Yes. +1 corruption / No]

He wraps his arms around her waist. His hand slides lower.

His hand rests on her ass. He squeezes.

.... On and on and on. I'm not even joking. Most of the game is like this.


As for the story, it's your extremely basic NTR set up of a whore wife slutting it up with every cock that comes along. I'm not saying that's inherently bad, because it's a very common and popular set up, but the stale writing makes the already predictable and rote plot even more monotonous.

The intro is better than nothing, but it never really sells the couple's relationship. It just tells us how they met and got married, but their relationship dynamic is never earned, it's just told to us.

The posing of the models can get pretty awkward too, and the renders themselves are a bit granny.

The font choice doesn't earn any points either. It's awful.

I love how huge her ass is! I LOVE BIG ASSES AND TITS, AND ASSES AND TITS GROWING IN GAMES IS THE BEST THING EVER!!! I also love BBC NTR... I am impressed by the design and crafting - and honestly, the 3DCG modeling in this game deserves that praise. Laurel's character model is exceptionally well-crafted, with proportions that immediately grab attention while still maintaining realistic physics and movement. The developers clearly spent time perfecting her curves, particularly her lower body assets that become increasingly prominent as certain story paths progress.


Beyond the impressive visual design, Not Too Refined succeeds as a slow-burn corruption narrative that actually earns its transformations. Playing as Laurel, you navigate the dissolution of a marriage through choices that feel genuinely consequential. The game excels at creating pressure points - moments where loyalty and desire clash in ways that feel authentic to a struggling relationship.


The corruption mechanics are particularly well-implemented. Rather than sudden personality shifts, Laurel's potential transformation unfolds through accumulated small compromises. Each exhibition scene, each moment of groping she allows, builds naturally from previous choices. The interracial content adds another layer of taboo that the game handles with surprising nuance, exploring both the fantasy and the guilt.


What sets this apart from typical NTR content is the female protagonist perspective. Experiencing the cheating storylines from Laurel's viewpoint adds psychological depth often missing in the genre. The voyeurism scenes work both ways - sometimes she's watching, sometimes being watched - creating a web of erotic tension.


The multiple endings genuinely reflect your choices throughout. Whether Laurel remains loyal (the most difficult path), succumbs to temptation, or fully embraces her transformation into a size queen MILF, each conclusion feels earned. The creampie scenes in the corruption routes are particularly intense, marking physical points of no return that match the emotional betrayals.


Technical execution is mostly solid. The animations during oral and handjob scenes show attention to detail, though some positions could use more variety. The exhibitionism scenarios are creative, progressing from accidental exposure to deliberate display as Laurel's inhibitions erode.

1. Dialogue is not bad, reads well and is structured.
2. Story is not bad, nothing very profound or interesting but at least starts a little different than most with setting the stage, but nothing more beyond that point.
3. Corruption options are nice, but honestly, if you want more content then you need to play into the corrupt angle more anyway...

1. UX/UI has no opacity setting for dialogue box, font looks like some comic sands type which can be hard to read, yet the user can't change it.
2. No music or sounds of any kind
3. Visuals are poor, renders are low quality, grainy many times. Images simply dropped into scenes with no 3d or design effort.
4. Female MC has odd proportions that are not the ideal that players would fantasize about, small breasts and fat ass, why not go for less of one and more of the other for balance?
5. Apart from above point, the FMC looks like she has bad cellulite, and actually looks like she could have had children and is in her mid 30s...
6. To add to comment 5, the characters are not smooth where they should be and the textures look cut out with straight edges.
7. Sexual scenes are very dull and vanilla, angles are poor and this is further compounded by lack of any animations or sounds.
8. Dialogue and plot quickly become more stupid and filled with porn logic in order to create some random scenario.

OPINIONS, SUGGESTIONS & FINAL REMARKS:

NOTE: The following remarks are my personal opinions and thoughts, which may provide more context and could be useful to the developer. (Read them or don't)

• Visuals are generally pretty poor, details missing all over like floating items, flat textures where there should be depth and dimensions, grainy low quality renders...just bad...
• While the story isn't bad, its also bullshit and has a lot of plot holes and inconsistencies in it. Not a deal breaker but just odd...like the characters are young, just completed studies and ones getting married, the other is a golfing buddy that is introduced (the Male MC) but they look like frat boys and hardly "golfers" that are probably earning less than top management would that actually are golfing buddies. The writer needs to set the scene, context and stick to it and not mix and mash things together, this creates inconsistencies and a disconnect for me otherwise.

TLDR:

Not impressive in any sense of the word, the story and writing notwithstanding, all other aspects of this AVN are unpolished, half baked and clearly just thrown together quickly and haphazardly. Even if the developer is a novice, there are tons of examples out there of what is considered the normal quality to aim for, this is below that in terms of visuals by a large margin.

This game offers a fresh perspective, allowing you to control a woman's actions. As it's just the prologue, there isn't much story content yet, but the fact that you start playing before you have a partner and then get one is a nice touch. It suggests that you can build different endings for the story, which I find interesting. Because it's only the prologue, I'm giving it a 4.
