Yes and no. It's related to the graphic part, but for once it's not a question of drivers.Have you updated your graphics drivers? The issue is related to that.
Thx. I update again drivers for videocard from task manager, then restart computer, and start again the one of game on renpy engine and it worked. UTF-8 I did it just in case. Windows 7 was simpler in this regard, without dancing with "tambourines". But now i have problem with Unity engine. Example "Loser". I find about this problem on steam from another user with another game.Have you updated your graphics drivers? The issue is related to that. However, if you're sure you have updated them, extra google searches say that you could also try this:
So, try updating your graphics drivers and make sure they're okay (updated but corrupted wouldn't be good), make sure Ren'Py game is properly extracted, then try that to see if it fixes the issue.
- Open Settings and navigate to Time & Language > Language & Region.
- Click on Administrative language settings.
- Go to the Administrative tab and click on Change system locale.
- Check the box next to "Beta: Use Unicode UTF-8 for worldwide language support".
- Click OK and restart your computer.
Also, keep in mind you can open the game while holding shift, see if you can access the menu to change settings.
For other issues unrelated to this one, I'd suggest making a separate thread as this has been solved (Renpy Issues and Unity issues are often different).Thx. "Unity playback engine is not responding
Hi all. I have this problem more recently after reinstalling windows on a new SSD. I also added 16 Gb of RAM to the PC. I start the game and when it starts to load, it freezes. If I click on the mouse, a window appears on a whiter screen (with Fishing Planet in the background) in which it tells me that "Unity playbakc engine. is not responding" and gives me two options: 1- close the program or 2- i'm waiting I waited but nothing, and then I close it. Has anyone else encountered this problem? Is it from the game or because of my PC? I hope you can help me. Thank you in advance."
What to do with this problem?
Thx. I see, what I can do with this problem. I will also look at other threads on approximately the same problem. For other issues unrelated to this one, I'd suggest making a separate thread as this has been solved (Renpy Issues and Unity issues are often different).
Unity also generates logs (Player.log) which are found in Appdata ( AppData\LocalLow\DevName\GameName\ ), similarly to ren'py's log, it will tell exactly the issue.
However, judging from your ren'py log, it had an abnormal amount of ms, which may suggest an issue with your ssd/hdd, so that could also affect your unity game.
Alternatively, your PC might not meet the minimum requirements, in general it seems pretty outdated and as such I wouldn't put much hope in running Unity games.
If you're using a laptop, make sure to plug it to charging because by default, most laptops will save up on power when unplugged, making it slower.
