RPGM - Completed - Noxian Nights [v1.2.4] [Hreinn Games]

This is one of the first H games I played so I have some fondness for it, but I think it still holds up fairly well. Time for the pros

• I like the protagonist, and the other female characters are fun as well
• The story actually had me invested at times which is something I wouldn't expect from this type of game
• I personally like the art, some people may label it as dated, and compared to some of the better art out there, sure. But the art is far from bad
• The gameplay is pretty engaging to say the least, I would say there's a lot to do.

On to the cons:

• Not a big con, but combat has never been my cup of tea in H games. Though it's not bad for what's it worth.
• I appreciate the uniqueness of the game, but sometimes the dungeons are just kind of in the way
• I was saying earlier that the story can be interesting, but some people might consider it a con for being too serious.
• The corruption aspect, which is the main draw of the game for me, could have been slightly better, considering you have to kind of divide screen time amongst the characters.

Take the cons with a grain of salt though, I would give this game a 4.5. So it's definitely worth checking out if you're into corruption games

Played this game years ago, and recently got bored and was stumbled on it again.

The game play still holds up and the story is so much better then we used to see and usually still get nowadays.
You can notice somethings are aged, like the lack of sounds during Hentai scenes/ every hentai scene is a still image.
And during normal gameplay you can't run/dash, which i found at times really missing when you just need to get from A to B.

But honestly even with these flaws becoming more apparent with the years.
The story itself shines even more brightly with the simple but rewarding choices and multiple endings which are all worth exploring.

replay ability, loved to play it all over again. But that is with several years between playthroughs. I can't say this one would be the biggest fun to replay entirely after you just finished it.

Old favorite, I played the HELL out of this one. I love the corruption, branching endings and lore of the world. It's definitely not perfect, it's a 6 year old RPG Maker game, but it has a charm I love coming back to. Support Nomu and Hreinn games!

How I came across:
A couple of years back, seeing this game on the recommended section below the thread. I prefer English-translated Japanese RPGMs back in the day, but I decided to give it a go last week.

Story:
Noxian Nights is a story of a Noxian warrior named Riven who lost everything in the war to one General Sulla. Gen. Sulla, of course, not wanting to let opportunities slip away, used some kind of a gas attack to make sure everyone did not survive the conflict.

Swearing to kill Gen. Sulla for what happened to her and her squad, she traced him to a little town called Castrum where most men are controlled by the desire of the Voidborn to copulate indirectly -- meaning, most men are getting hornier than normal. Thanks to a very "generous" landowner, she didn't have to pay a dime for resting at his place in exchange for BJs.

And, thus, from the Landowner's simple shack to acquiring the help of her fellow Noxian, Katarina, a renowned mage, LeBlanc, and an Ionian nobility, Irelia (and her companion Dyuu), her quest to tackle down Gen. Sulla begins -- in any means necessary -- even if it had to involve her compatriots along the way.

My Experience:
In the name of the Nameless Mist, this one is a banger. Many choices were laid out to ensure players' progressions throughout the game to acquire (more or less) EIGHT (if you divide Castrum endings into two ways) different endings! The story is magnificent and easy to follow through and the writing is great -- the descriptive nature of the storyteller to tell what was going on is something that I do not expect from an RPGM game, let alone that this was made over five years ago.

However, the image quality and the lack of in-game settings, and of course the lack of sound effects made this game feels like silent hentai if they were to exist back when silent movies were the most top-notch of entertainment. Of course, the simplistic nature of RPGM combat system is also to be expected.

With how Hreinn goes with their games... No information has been given to the players as to how they will proceed throughout the game. Meaning, every conversation must be read before proceeding -- otherwise, you don't know what you are supposed to do and maybe roll back a little bit to an earlier saved game.

Verdict:
One of the best contenders to destroy NNN (No Nut November) - or to help DDD (Destroy Dick December). 4.5/5.

Noxian Nights is one of the better RPGMs I've played so far. The storytelling is enthralling, the art is (as expected of Nomo) pleasant to see, and many story options to choose from. However, there were many options that became missed opportunities and alternate endings, but I suppose that'd be taxing for all the team to proceed. I only wish there were more scenes to explore, but overall -- a really great experience.

Great game with funny story and lots of good arts. For me, this is one of the best adult games. Seriously, I've played this game several times with different options, and I'm thinking of going through it again. Yes, there is a grind here. Yes, I don't really like fights, and I don't understand why there're fights in a porn game at all. ut the drawing is so good, and the heroines look so sexy, that I easily forgive the game all the shortcomings.

OK, now I'm going to download this game and play it again.

Best RPG maker game. It's not totally polished, but there's such good writing that it doesn't matter. Just use the guide if you get stuck. The exhibitionism was the best done I've seen in any game. I didn't even know it was a LOL parody when I first played it. Still doesn't matter though.

One of the best RPG games that I have played. Excellent character development, good CG, great plot progression. Had a great couple of nights. I honestly think that this game is quite underrated. 10/10 would recommend

The premise of the game is simple. You're beaten, weakened, and need to gather your strength. A steady stream of compromise or a roaring torrent of corruption, either way you, the MC, is going to get fucked.

- The art is okay, but a bit simple

- You really need a walkthrough (the one at OP is very good), else you will run around blueballed like a mad man
- The corruption that there is, has no real noticable effect apart from blocking access to some scenes. It is not the kind of corruption that makes a total slut of a noble hero

Ok! Here we go review time by me!

First things first I will have a TL;DR at the end so if you want to skip there just do it.

Ok once that is out of the way I firstly want to just get into the whole setting. As a lore person from league it is pretty accurate for the time as I know because we know from Ionian and Noxian lore that Noxus invaded Ioania and forcefully took over etc. This all starts with Riven being a strong soldier commanded by Saulla in the conquest. and fast forward we then have our young lovely Riven angry at Saulla for his behavior and how he handled this thing so she wants to stop his behavior and the treacherous acts he is doing.

Then we start off the game and if you do not follow the guide you will most likely be lost, like a 100% lost trust me this game is not some simple must spam space and watch the story progress rather you need to pay attention to the wordings of key characters and depending on your choices you affect certain scenes in the future. Or what I did which I recommend if playing this game is to use a GUIDE which can easily be found. Using this guide simplifiesthe whole game A LOT and you basically get maxed out with all the things you need. There is pretty much no need for grinding monsters as the storyline and sidequests feed you up. So story wise this game has nice progression and just follow the guide and you should atleast if you barely paid attention know what is going on and what the characters have planned and do.

Characterwise its still great. Riven fits Riven as a person, Irelia is seemable humble but douchy towards Katarina which is a very good plot point, Leblanc is like the trickster and is helping your team in the sense of guidance towards your little alliance with her. Then we got my favorite, Katarina! I just loved her character. All the scenes went so well with her character then alongside with Riven who is sexual but reserved and Irelia who is a douchebag towards her just clicked so good. So if you are into some super small catgirl fight speech by them that has good revenge scenes such as when Katarina being held hostage and Irelia tells you to steal from the minotaurs because "they probably wont notice" whilst knowing they literally told your group they will keep a tight eye on everyone and espically so you're not stealing. In terms of character development Riven goes from shy virgin reserved to a subtle free of use whore but the game advances her character well as the story goes along. Irelia pretty much has the same behavior but sort of is already open sexually towards nature etc that needs balance (e.g. Dyuu). As the plot progresses she then begins to help Riven with her sexual acts and helps her to learn to be more seductive or helps her by making her have sexual intercourse with others. Leblanc is more mysterious than for me because of the original league lore but she has a pretty flat character meaning that she keeps the role of leadership in the alliance and guides Riven towards the next achievement in order to defeat Saulla. Katarina though goes from her bratty noxian princess to an absolutely different character execpt for her hostility. Great example is when she gets raped by the minotaurs and kinda starts to like getting raped by feral-esque creatures. Fastforward towards the stable when the horse rapes her and now the big ranking assassin is addicted to getting fucked by feral things. And the reason why I say now her personality alongside Irelia was a great choice in terms of smut and story was due to their potential revenge scenes where Katarina who gets comments of being very very horny while getting fucked by non humans suddenly comes back when she is in charge and has the dog fuck Irelia.

Fast forward again bit short on time but in terms of environment it is very nice due to the whole isolated curfew where outsiders do not really come and you can only focus on the place you're at. I kinda found the last map hard with Saulla but the boss easy. I think the monsters are nice to fight and fit their theme. It is not very repetitive because the different locations offer different needs of accomplishment by the alliance thus always having some sort of variation to not get bored out of.

Combat now is something you need to understand a bit. My personal favorite playstyle was maxing out Riven and Irelia then use Dyuu as a lurking healer in the early game. Katarina gets oneshotted so easily by the mobs and in my opinion its not even worth giving her the pendant of lust to recieve less damage rather give it to Riven or Irelia because you will need their survival in order to win. I recommend if multiple targets to use this combo. Riven AoE attack (think its broken wings), Irelia blade surge, Dyuu lurk and Katarina dagger throw(bouncing blade). The reason is because Riven does a lot of dmg and debuffs the enemies and potentially kills all of them. Irelia's blade surge is also strong and attacks almost first in everygame with it (if your Riven isnt maxed out and level 27). Dyuu should lurk in the beginning to get his TP up incase of need of sudden healing and be played as a healer. Think of Dyuu as your hidden trump card in plain sight that is broken and literally like carrys every fight. Katarina combatwise is weak imo. Her dagger throw is great because it attacks 3 random times and reduces the DEF of the enemy. So in most fights you encounter just use this combo and you should be good. If they survive use runic blades on Riven, if you dont care about spending mana then blade surge again on Irelia, Dyuu can be chosen to be offensive if you have the poisonous goo and Katarina just use her sinister steel or death lotus if you have it.
In terms of fighting anti magic people just spam attack and have dyuu lurk then heal your teammates. Literally the most effective strategy I found.
Then bossfighting to increase Dyuu's stats. These bosses are literally harder than the final boss imo. Playing around your team is key here and in most fights its playing around Dyuu, Irelia, and Riven. Think of using Katarina as a shield. Revive her when fighting for the boss to attack and you get a free round. An example of this would be against the lethal tentacle that does 9999 dmg on every single hit attack. The way I played around him was using runic blades and whatever available on Riven but I preferred Runic Blades and broken blades the most. Irelia is literally spamming blade surge but you should Equilibrium Strike in the boss fight in the beginning to slow them. Found it working for me! Also dont forget to use her Transcendent Blades espically when against bosses and they got low HP because it does roughly 1500 dmg. As for Dyuu its the same. Trump card lurk get TP then choose wisely like a battlefield commander and advance your main troops Riven and Irelia. Katarina was barely effectively used by me execpt as for her bouncing blade to reduce enemy defense. But with the boss fights this is how I got around it. Riven and Irelia do dmg. Dyuu heals/resurrects and Katarina bouncing blade do as much dmg before she dies. These boss fights is why I said to max out Riven and Irelia because they are your main damage group. Its better for them to survive blasts and take 500-1000 dmg than get a 2,1k dmg oneshot. And if that were to happen and you got like 51hp on Riven the simply just use her as normal of if you are risky use her last buffing ability, then Irelia uses hiten strike to heal her hp or Transcendent Blades to heal up. Dyuu uses his healing goo on Riven and then you're pretty much done. 3 Full hp characters.

The last slimefight for Dyuu is the hardest one. Literally even harder than the boss and the previous slime bosses. You find him in the dark right where the first ghoul you encounter is outside the cave where you first saved Leblanc. He is so strong and the sole reason that made me realize to put lust defendants on Riven and Irelia and max them out then potentially Dyuu. In that fight use Riven and Irelia as dmg dealers, Gyuu as lurker and Katarina if possible use her bouncing blades. KEEP IN MIND THAT IF SHE DIES RESURRECTING HER IS A GOOD IDEA! Then its 1/4 that can get hit and if she gets hit its another free turn for you to deal out damage! Eitherway once you get used to this strategy everything in the game should be easy!

Lastly, storywise its nice and I like it because it is something that actually could have happened in Runeterra smut lore in my opinion and it advances well with interesting events my main favorite being the personality changes to Katarina and Riven but the plot progresses reasonably quickly which is needed unless you'd want a 20 hour stretched out game.

SMUT! Smut in this game is actually fitting and well chosen for the characters and isn't something like some generic h-game rather actually got some thinking into it and most importantly they can fit very well with the plot of the place/story.

Wasn't my best review done but hope it informs some of you my thoughts about this game.


tl;dr It got nice story, art and combat but my favorite is the character development and how well the HreinnGames tied it togheter. If you play itjust follow a guide and then choose your likings on whom to increase affection etc with and you should be chill. Keep in mind it is a rather long game but it enjoyable even outside of the NSFW terms.

Its a awesome game that I played back when the game was in development but I never got around to finishing it glad I have now though, a awesome story and some great artwork in my opinion. I followed the guide at times because I wanted to make sure I did not miss anything, fair warning though if you plan to follow the guide completely it can be a bit confusing as it was written during development.

Excellent game. Even though it's quite old by now, easily one of my top 5 RPGMs. I generally don't like most of them, as they all tend to use the RPGM parts just to pad the game, with lots of walking and completely uninteresting combat with no real effort put into it. Noxian Nights is one of the honorable exceptions that actually have decent combat, skill use, gear and balancing, making this part actually fun most of the time. Combat difficulty is a bit brutal at first but you get items and skills that make it challenging but not impossible fairly quickly, and this kept combat interesting almost through the entire game. It did get a bit grindy towards the end though , not gonna lie (lots of fights you just want to skip, which you usually can, it's just clunky because of RPGM..)

Interface wise... It's an older RPGM so it's not great, but not bad either. Gets the job done, but has the usual RPMG inventory management annoyances. No way to adjust music or sound volume along with no "always run" were my main gripes throughout the playthrough. A questlog or journal would have been nice too, but you can manage without it.

There aren't that many unique drawings/H-scenes (as the download size should be an indication of).. So prepare to see essentially the same blowjob scene many times over throughout the game. They're all nicely drawn however, and the excellent writing more than makes up for any lack of imagery in my book.

One of the most fleshed out multiple endings I've ever seen, too.

Easy recommendation.

you should 100% play this game. the other reviews go into enough detail about the game without me needing to add anything. exceptionally long game length, excellent combat balancing, good story, great art.

Best RPGM that hits a lot of fetishes while using a r34 setting. Good use of unlockable paths, offers some branches to fit all sorts of kinks, the artwork is fantastic.

Hopefully more like it come in the future.

An old RPGM(which the instructions forget to say) game played in a 546x443 window which upon resize looks awful.
The game can't really be called a full fledged porn game as most of the sex is in written text. Also the game is insanely hard to play as you get your ass handed to you in every encounter. This would perhaps be worthwhile if we saw some defeat animations but that is, like I wrote above not happening...

The sex scenes I've seen this far are 3 images only and quite boring, so yeah 1/5 (could've been higher but the 5/5 doesn't really reflect the game either)

PLOT: An interesting premise, and quite faithful to the lore of LoL which will please most LoL fans. Overall, the story never bored me, but it didn't really stand out either. Above average.

ART: Good quality. Not animated though. One complain I have is that its basically the same style and body type throughout the game. Big boobs, big asses, on slender waistlines. I'm not complaining - but I kind of wanted some variety between the different girls. I assume that's why they didn't include Jinx? Creator bias for any body type except bodacious?

WRITING: Solid level of writing. Well above average. Dialogue was smooth, believable, and true to character. Scenes were described deliciously.

GAMEPLAY: The game's weakest point. Same crappy old RPGM style. Having LoL moves and stuff is novel and all, but I'm not playing an adult game to grind my way to each individual H-scene.

SOUND: Generic, and kind of boring and repetitive once you've played the game long enough. Some really intense H-scenes don't match the soundtrack at all. Quite weak.

Overall, I'd give this game a 7/10. It's worth playing, but grindy gameplay and generic, repetitive soundtrack detract from an otherwise sexy experience. If you're a LoL fan, you'd probably be willing to ignore the shitty gameplay and sound for the satisfaction of the likes of Riven and Katarina getting into all kinds of sticky situations.

I'm gonna keep it short.

H: good amount, not that hard to get, good art, pretty hot and it has some fetiches. No animations. It has a couple of different galeries depending on the ending.

Gameplay: fun, it doesn't feel repetitive and it doesn't have much grind except a bit at the beginning.

Plot: OK, it's a porn game so don't expect a masterpiece but it's better than most.

Must play in my humble opinion.

Almost bailed on setting it up because RPGM is a pain in the ass. And it is; controls suck, requires some runtimes, etc. etc.

Well worth it. Great and varied fetishes, pretty good gameplay, good art, tons of content (the 3.5 endings by themselves each have more content and polish than many games)

my first h-game that I played correctly in all my fetishes and above all that is inspired by the universe of the lol even that in my opinion could have chosen other champions like me or someone else and the artistic style is a bit behind with the one of Kingdoom of Deception but it's a great game

EDIT: I'm bumping up to 4 stars. The game ended up being decent once you learn it. I had to try it a few times before I could get into it.

If you don't mind extremely long, boring combat grinds and mind numbing puzzles, with tons of extremely long periods of walking until you get to a sex scene, then this game is 5/5 stars.

If you hate extremely long grinding periods inbetween sex scenes, this game is 1/5 stars. The RPG maker aspects of this game completely destroy any sexual momentum. By the time you get to a sex scene, the RPG aspects of the game have completely bored you to tears.

I see now why their other game Kingdom of Deception is no longer using RPGM. They made the right choice in switching.
