Ren'Py - NPC Tales: The Shopkeeper [v0.40] [D.mon Games]

This game have potential, but as of right now with the lack of available content (only having 2 NPC to interact with), including some minor bugs I won't give it a 5 star right away. Will reevaluate my rating once the game receive more development. If you interact with the NPC then open up the shop at the same time it causes a visual bug, but doesn't affect the gameplay at all and can fixed if you interact with NPC again.

I don't mind the usage of AI art, it doesn't ruin the immersion of the game and fits the setting of the game. I understand that some people don't have all the necessary skills to create a game. It just those people who claimed themselves as artist using ai art, undermining/belittling real artists, is the type I despise.

Ignoring that tangent, this is one of the game that I will keep my eye until it finish development.

I thoroughly enjoy this little game. I just wish the dev-time was a bit quicker.

Is the art AI? Yes. But if it's done well then who cares? Would you rather it be the same Daz or HS1/2/koikatsu models we've all seen a bajillion times? Not everyone has drawing skills or can afford to hire those that do.

The characters are super cute, I love the freeuse, and there are a lot of fun interactions. Gameplay loop is pretty simple for now, but easy enough to find everything. Excited to see where this game goes with more updates!

There's no actuall story yet and updates don't develop much. Tho developer is active and works on parael project.

Only one or two scenes, dialogue is ai, art is ai, gameplay is nonexistent. At the current state of the game there is literally nothing to do, I'm not sure how this game has 28 votes for being 0.3 version with no real gameplay

I love the concept of this tech demo it’s a really fresh and exciting take on the free use fantasy where reality and gameplay mechanics blur. The idea of transcending the usual limitations of NPCs is fascinating, and if the developer expands on this, it has huge potential. However, the art style could use some improvement, and adding more detail to the scenes would definitely enhance the experience. With some polish, this concept could evolve into something truly amazing.

Nice unique game about groping and free-use. I'd say its a rare genre, where game mechanics are actually tied to sex in a sandbox where all your moves are important. Its not a puzzle and easy to understand, while also fun to play.

Content right now is limited mostly to your main plaything - the shopkeeper girl, which you can grope, undress and have sex with. There is also an optional encounter with city guard. It needs some preparations and planning to have fun with her.

The UI is simple and intuitive. There are some unexpected options to use items on the girl. I think the shop needs more items for some intimate fun. But its already a game mechanic and I think more items will be added later.

Definitely needs more content, but I really enjoy what it already has. And since its advertised as tech demo - the main focus was on implementing gameplay, which is great.

I wish all the good luck to Developer and will keep an eye on new updates.

honestly surprised at how fun the game is i was expecting something less interactive but was pleasantly surprised by the free use content and can clearly see the love that went into making the game we need more games like this

Really great to see a game with actual gameplay that ties into the sex. The art is cute, and apparently not fully AI, despite the tag. Things are obviously very early, so not a lot to say yet, but very promising so far.

Cute models, but the animations needs a bit of work. People demands animated scenes, but it's hard with AI. The story and narrativa is not that great. The mechanics are well made. A very simple and beautiful game.
4 starts.

Great product :
-Models are very nice, especially the main one - shopkeeper.
-Tons of interactions with the NPCs
-Facial expressions change
-You can undress them and even cut their hair which grows back later.
Good attention to details which shows the devs dedication.

For a v0.25 this is great work.

10/10 would buy later down the line.

A little buggy and not that much content yet.
But what there is really good.
In time this could be a great game.

But atm..
it's basically just a tech demo.

But it's still worth trying.. =)

Once there is more to do I will revisit and possibly update to 5. Love the groping mechanic but not much to do or much reward at the moment with this. Another thing that you should think about adding is stats and more items whether they be combat based or usable on the npc's out of combat. and possibly the ability to talk to the guard out of combat.

Why it's 5 stars, it made by A.I bs that nobody want, it's so simple, just some strip, molest and ... that's it.
But to me, it's how A.I games should focus. Because the A.I pose is unstable and limited with idea of kinetic visual novel, Point and click is the solution. It's good, at least till now.

I'll definitely watch closely this game. It has potential. So far it doesn't have much content though. Occasional bugs that sometimes ended up in a dead game which forced me to save a lot.

Hopefully dev will add some visualisation where to click to trigger desired action. (for example click on pussy sometimes trigger vaginal and sometimes fingering). Same goes for battle -> it took me some time before I realized I can steal items / break them and also have combat sex. Interactions similar to 'The Shopkeeper' with other characters would be also cool.

A small download, playtime of this demo is around an hour, maybe more while you are still figuring out the mechanics.

I give it an extra star for the writing that made me chuckle a couple of times (interactions with character 3). The porn part is pretty vanilla with a little bit extra spice, not really enough for me at this point, but promising premise for sure.

The graphics are nice, I don't have the immidiate 'yuck soulless AI' reaction to it. Your milage may vary.

Definitly going to check out future versions, though that might be the far, far future.

I really liked the game. Waiting for newer characters and more actions. Stealing the clothes is a very creative option. Wish we could do that in reality. The third character is listed so was waiting for her.

I don't know why people tend to talk down AI generated graphics. Good art is good art no matter how it's made.

The demo is very bare-bones now, but all that it has it's near perfect. If this game continues to be developed with this kind of quality it's going to be a hit.

I wasn't expecting much (AI generated art + early in development didn't really scream quality or quantity) but I was pleasantly surprised, from what I gather the AI art was more AI assisted art with rough sketches being run through a generator or something with a little post work to clean things up. In addition, there are numerous little details for the npcs that change as you progress which is very welcome.

Gameplay wise it is somewhat rudimentary and simple in many ways but as this is a tech demo and I had fun with what was there I'll give it a pass (if you like stuff like night attack or other bar management groping games you'll probably like this). Overall I think this project has a lot of potential and I wish the dev luck.

Pretty art and that's it. No gameplay, not even a demo to a game.

The MC is unknown, the shopkeeper is unknown. The motivation is unknown.

There is nothing here but steal girls clothes and grope her we get no idea why.
