I hope you don't mind me butting in, even though it wasn't addressed to me. But I think you got a point there, but also think you don't. What I mean is, I kinda agree with what you said, and looking at myself I do kinda feel like that fits. But I also like to categorize, I work in a technical field (though I also have a small artistic background) and I percieve myself as having a scientific outlook on life. I think there's merit in what you said, but also feel that it's more complicated. And it's definitely more of an spectrum than an either/or situation.
Not butting in at all. Thanks for the thoughtful pushback. I agree it’s more complicated and it’s a spectrum. I was talking in averages, but I should have been clearer that there’s lots of overlap and many exceptions. The people-vs-things tilt is a group pattern, not a rule for any one person.

Think of these broad gender generalizations as ideal types (in the Weberian sense): exaggerations used as analytical tools to study and compare actual phenomena. Very few people, if any, fit those extremes exactly. For example, I’m terrible at math and far more interested in art, the humanities, and the behavioral sciences than in the natural sciences. But, even if there are many exceptions, these patterns still shape us through culture. Averages feed into gender roles, training, and expectations, which then feed back into how we act (affecting the averages), and so on, and so forth.

Edit: Removed pointless speculation about gender norms and the dual-inheritance theory.
Edit 2: Put some of it back in. :p

All we're saying about men as a generalization is that, in our experience, they tend to be less adventurous when it comes to put the money where their mouth is. In general. A lot of men aren't like this. A lot are.

Everything else is just sharing experiences and comparing notes. Why does that trigger you so much?

Edited to add I don't mean to be aggressive or attack you. On rereading my post, I'm afraid it might come off as such. It's not my intention. I just mean to point out that you might be taking personally some parts of the conversation that have nothing to do with you.
I'll admit I'm not quite the adventurous fella, but depending on the girl she might actually get me to try some stuff. Due to that I'm not expecting them to just do everything I want either, that would be unfair, and one of the best things about sex for me is making the girl feel real fucking good, which is why I will at least try and give some things a shot.

I have not and won't ever have sex with another man, no, so I can't quite speak for that experience lol, but I did have a girlfriend at one point that was quite wild, like... she would go nuts in bed and it did feel awesome. I have the feeling if she were an anime character she would have given tentacles and stuff a chance for sure. Now... she always did want me to be crazier and got me to do some things, but I definitely had to reject many of her crazy petitions. She was cool though.

So in my experience... some women can indeed go full bananas with sex and be open to some wild exploration, which is good actually, but yeah I guess not every man will actually do those things.

So... guys, don't ask for a woman that does everything you want if you can't keep an open mind yourself you selfish bastard... But if you feel like you can, then BE READY. Women can be... creative

Imagine how much better the world would be if straight men didn't spend so much time worrying about what was gay. I see it on the internet all the time, people typing so many words, spending so many calories trying to tell others what's acceptable to fap to. "I can't fap to that because it's gay, and i'm not gay, and I NEED EVERYONE TO KNOW I'M NOT GAY!!"

true even some beastiality/monster animators are adding female pov to the scenes of the videos and don't give a warming like they expect their public gonna be mostly women.

This is what women get? Pass. Every female POV that I have stumbled have either lesbian, futanari or animals/beasts/monsters but no men(if I see ugly bastards even here, I'm going to fucking lose it). I feel like women are mocked for not having porn for them.

The real issue is that they're scared of what their friends will think. Anything short of straight out Schwarzenegger ass Masculinity is "Gay" and "You're a fag."

Like shows for girls? GAY
Like Pegging? That's one step away from having sex with a dude
Show your girlfriend affection? What are you, a queer.

The irony is, being hypermasculine is really only good for getting male approval. Getting ripped at the gym for girls only for basically guys to compliment you. Acting like a chauvinistic douchebag might get you "Hoes" and admiration from lonely men, but you'll be just as lonely and unfulfilled as you were before.

Really, guys should just do what the fuck they want and tell anyone who's got a problem with it to fuck off

Sorry sweetie but women prefer to be fhcked by animals, beasts and monsters. I don't think there's a conspiracy here, just supply and demand :alien:

Dunno what year you're living in bro but if you speak to any young people they're all(not literally all but it's not rare at all)into femboys and whatnot. What you're talking was true in 2000s. Nowadays old people mock young people for being feminized, bisexual and gayfrogs

to be fair the industry of nsfw animation is still pretty amateur because they depend of the 3d models that can extract from video games that the data miners reverse engineered, and in most of the time the human male characters models have very few expressions in their faces, then the animators does not count with good models for making female pov with human male characters without give uncanny valley to the viewer, because rigging a model to have facial expressions is too expensive to afford for most of the nsfw animators, perhaps once more women enter in the nsfw animation industry as creators and consumers we will se more female focused nsfw animations.

Yes, someone already told me that even AI is hard at generating POV because of lack of models.

Even in the gay world, that holds true. The more "masculine" you are, the more chased you are. Grindr is loaded with "No fems" profiles, well, at least that's what I read. I deleted my profile almost a year ago and haven't come back.

LOL that's true. I have enjoyed many things that would definitely make many believe I'm absolutely gay. I can cook, I enjoy romance anime, I clean my place often, I don't drink, I don't watch sports... except maybe the world cup if it gets interesting and the olympic games of course, I use lotions, I have read romance novels too and I have three plushies on my bed, one is a pony!

I could not give less of a shit what people think of me on that regard. Wanna think I'm gay, fine. When it comes to porn I have my preferences like everyone of course, but I'm not going to kink shame anyone, that's so pathetic to do. Those "sigma males" or "alpha" or whatever the fuck they come up with next, never got out of highschool.

Idk man I don't feel like that's true at all. From what I see all the stuff you mentioned that is supposedly seen as gay is super popular on social media and spoken about plainly. Go on twitter, reddit, wherever I see guys talk about anime, skincare, cooking all the time. I feel like these talking points about men are super outdated... Nowadays all this stuff is completely normal from what I'm seeing. I don't know where you're from that cooking and cleaning your room is considered gay man.

It's popular NOW that people share it that openly and found out it's not uncommon, yes you are right, but it's not the traditional things people expect, and I'm sure a lot of people will say that. And believe me, cleaning the house is still a "lady thing" for many, which is dumb as fuck, same with cooking.

I'm not talking about everyone, but I assure you that's the kind of stuff that will still get you weird looks. Yet you are not wrong that many are seeing it as normal because of course it is normal to clean and not smell like a dumpster, and you need to survive so you need some basic cooking skills, and yet... the "sigma males" will come at you thinking you're a housewive for that.

Also, I got enough hate once for watching MLP so that ridiculous stuff is still out there, and you will always see some idiot saying it in the comments of those examples you gave. No it's not like before, but it's still a thing sadly.

Yeah that's what I meant I feel like people are repeating talking points from 2000s but the world is different now. Idk if it's just you but I see people especially older people mock men as being too feminine even. So like it can't be both ways at the same time can it? Anyways I think this sigma male shit is way overblown and is essentially a meme at this point. It's just the social media method of operations that you have to say outrageous shit to get attention. It goes for both sexes, the craziest opinions are being brought into the spotlight. There was a funny tweet I saw, it was an experiment - someone posted something positive and something negative, two tweets and the negative one got loads more attention.
Edit: just noticed girlies aren't giving my posts cute hearts and thumbsup... I'm a sensitive guy, maybe you think I don't have feels but I do...just saying

I can't say for sure if it is mostly older men, but yeah the mockery is absurd. Yes you will get some women thinking the wrong stuff only because of that as well, it's crazy, which is especially bad. You would think a woman would be happier about a more sensitive man that cooks and cleans and doesn't smell like wood and smoke lol, but no... some say they are not manly enough.

Luckily, there's still normal people in the world still that don't care about absolutely anything other than if you're a decent person or not.

Also, about the negative and positive post... I sometimes think people see the good thing and is like "cool, great" and move on. They are okay with it, but when it comes to the negative, there's something to speak of, a discussion to be had, something that needs to be fixed, hence more people commenting on it. At least that's how I see it...

It reminds me of a game dev that once saddened at people not noticing the cool, realistic beams of light in a demo at some convention. People's response was along the lines of "We did see it, it was not out of place so it simply looked right. Had it not been there we would have noticed". What's right is not quite ignored as much as it is seen as what it should be, while what is bad needs to be discussed, addressed.

Yeah I agree with that. Like the weirdest part is taking little shots at men is so commonplace that people don't even think it's weird to do it. And it's both men and women who partake in it which is just hilarious. Like people will say the toxic masculinity shit, someone else will say men are too feminine etc if you call them out you're seen as confrontational or a snowflake. We are expected to nod along and take it.
What's right is not quite ignored as much as it is seen as what it should be, while what is bad needs to be discussed, addressed.
Yeah that makes total sense and I agree but a lot of the stuff on social media isn't about discussion but more like people like to vent and stuff. You said yourself in the comments there will always be someone being hateful. I think it's a way to release their emotions when they have no other way
